"The only safe mode of transportation I can think of would be if Fenrir used his teleportation tags to teleport Selene out of here. I can't think of a safer way to get her out of here. Hmn...I wonder if he's worried..."
Cherry looked down and shook her head as she finished mashing the potatoes. "It's not that I don't trust you Darion. But I'm a parent now. The most important thing to me is my daughter and her safety."

Darion looked at Selene then back at Cherry.He got an idea." Fine...I'll get Fenrir..."Darion said as he took his gun and placed it on the table and took his katana and put in under his chair."And after they get off the island you taking the raft with me..."Darion said as he sat down.

"We'll see about that when the time comes. For now, let's just eat and enjoy the meal." Cherry grabbed the plates and set the table. She pulled out the chair for Selene and placed the cooked fish on a plate with some mashed potatoes. Each had been seasoned to perfection. There were still recipes that she remembered from when her father David had run the restaurant.
Once everyone was served, Cherry sat down on her own seat. "Selene, would you like to say grace?"

Cherry smiled, "Glad you like it honey. Once you're done, you can have some cakes for desert." Cherry started eating the food from her own plate. Gently wiping her mouth with the napkin, she swallowed and looked to Darion.
"Darion, what has been going on in the outside world? Do you have any news for us? Since we've been here, we haven't heard of anything. Have the sins been banished yet?"

Darion listened considering he never prayed before."Amen..."Darion said before taking a bit of his fish.He smiled,"To be honest this is the the first home cooked meal since i got off the mountain...Its amazing"
Darion thought about it, "Umm, The sins? I haven't heard anything about them. Sorry I haven't been doing much since i got off the mountain, "He said as he then took another bite of of the fish

"Don't be sorry. I'm really just wondering how Marishka has been doing. There is just so much we have been missing out on." It didn't take Cherry long to finish her meal. She stood up and began cleaning off the dish.
"Oh, and don't mind Selene. She is very shy around new people. The girl is a lot like her father. She doesn't speak unless she has something to say, and she doesn't trust easily."
After she cleaned her dish and put it away, Cherry pulled out some cookies and set them on the table before sitting back down. "I've been trying to teach her about magic, but I fear that being a mage isn't in her blood. Hmn...I wonder what she'll become..." Cherry watched as Selene ate her food.

Darion finished up his dinner and smiled."Not a mage? Maybe something holy, like a paladin...She does seem to be into praying and such."Darion said as he took his gun of the table and put it in his holster, and picked up his Katana.Darion cleaned his dish and put it where Cherry put hers."So whats there to do on this island?Anything interesting or fun?"Darion asked as he sat back down, as Darion was still a rogue he really liked having some sort of adventure in his life.

"Unfortunately not. I spend most of my days educating Selene, telling her about her father and gathering food to eat. At night, we just sit on the shore and watch the waves roll in over the stormy sea. Then I sing Selene a lullaby and put her to bed. We do enjoy games of Hide and Seek though. That's a very good game to play on this island. There are lots of hiding spots."
Cherry smiled and leaned back in her seat. "But I doubt you would enjoy that. You are more of a fighter aren't you Darion? I'm willing to bet you would rather train then play childish games."

Darion chuckled."Well i think i need a brake from fighting.So I wouldn't mind playing some games."Darion said he stretched his arms out."After all I haven't taken a brake since I went to the Spire, But later on I'll most likely get back into the training and the fighting."Darion said with a sigh of relief.
"But Cherry, don't you get lonely? I mean sure you have Selene but don't you miss talking to grown ups?"

"It's kind of a catch 22. I don't mind being here because it's safe here. I don't have to worry about Selene getting hurt or people trying to go after her because of who her father is." Cherry stopped and looked to Selene. "Darion let's talk in the other room. Selene, you can go play outside once you're done eating. I'll come find you once I'm done."
Standing up, Cherry headed into her bedroom, waiting for Darion to follow. Once he had, she shut the door behind him and leaned against the wall.
"As I was saying...I like it here because Selene is safe. Here, I don't have to worry about people trying to kill her because of who her father is. There are a lot of people who hate Fenrir. I'm afraid that if they found Selene they wouldn't show any mercy. It frightens me to think that way, but she is just a little girl."
Cherry shook her head lightly. "On the other hand, I do miss talking with other people. I know that Selene would be safe if she was with Fenrir, but even then life would be difficult for her. Fenrir takes training very seriously. I know he'll be happy to see his daughter when the day comes, but he isn't a man who shows emotion. I'm afraid of what that would do to Selene emotionally. She seems distant enough already."

Darion followed Cherry into her room and listened to what she had to say."I see..."Darion thought about what Cherry said."Well Then I'm sure theres away to make sure she isn't going to be harmed...I mean I could get Fenrir here and He could get Selene, and he could protect her." Darion didn't know what to say."Can I do anything to help you right now?"Darion asked as he stretched his arms out and put his hands behind his head.

"The only thing I can think of is if you tell Fenrir where I am and about Selene. I don't expect him to drop everything to come here. He is a busy man. But I haven't been able to contact him. I still have the communicator he gave me and it works fine...just not here. I don't understand what is causing the interference."
Cherry walked over to the dresser and pulled out the communicator and tossed it to Darion. "I just don't understand...Hmn...Hey! You came down off the mountain right? That means you have your lycan form. I'd love to see it when the moon comes out."
