Bul nearly jumped while he was in his curled stretch and turned around quickly to see Mei and beamed happily before standing up. "Oh awesome Mei! I didn't see you signing up I'm sorry! Man I'm so glad you made it I sent you and Seiji each texts but I don't think Seiji got his in time.." he said frowning sadly. "But it's good that you're here you ready to break out a mad sweat?" he chuckled then began stretching again. He couldn't remember amongst his list of injuries on the island whether or not he pulled any muscles (it was highly probable) but he wasn't going to today!
He leaned on each knee and got his body relatively low to the ground without throwing off his center of gravity. "We're well on our way to learning how to kick some shadowy a**," he smirked and used his tail as a sort of counter balance.

Snickering as the boil kept himself from jumping, she greeted him with a simple wave once he had spun around. "I just got here, literally in the nick of time." Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out her phone to show Bul the text he had sent her before snapping the phone shut and shoving it back in. "Thanks to your text that is. I owe you one. I had no idea this class was already taking signups." Pulling out a hair elastic, Mei tied her hair back into a loose ponytail, to keep from having any pesky hair getting in her face when unwanted--which as most of the time. "I don't sweat, but I'm definitely ready!" Grinning at the boil, she began a few stretches of her own, just to make sure everything was in check with her body. Last thing she needed was her legs or other limbs to lock up. That would just suck.
Definitely loving the sound of kicking a**, rather than getting their a** kicked, appealed to the doll. Mei was ready to do whatever it took to prepare herself for anymore life compromising situations they may encounter. The first step, was this class. Even if it was just little by little, anything would be an improvement from before. "Yes~!" Gesturing a small fist pump, she eagerly awaited for the class to start.

While attempting somewhat halfheartedly to stretch (his limbs were still a little sore), Ren noticed a very familiar little wisp enter the field - one he hadn't expected to see, really. Pushing himself to his feet again, he crossed over to where Jove was standing, shifting from one foot to the other and looking slightly confused.
"Hey, Freckles," Ren said, reaching out to playfully ruffle the boil's hair. He glanced to the side, giving a smile and a wave to Mei; he was still getting to know the ghoul, but so far he had enjoyed her company. A familiar waft of perfume met his nose and Ren's eyes slid to his left, narrowing slightly. Natalia. Truth be told, he should have known that he would be running into the ghoul eventually, but somehow he still felt as if it were too soon, too much for him. He turned his face away from her, a faint scowl the only sign of his emotions at the moment, instead choosing to force a smile, lifting a hand in greeting to Demi.
"It'll be an interesting gym class, that's for sure..."

[ Colette is already signed up! ]
The gym? Colette checked it every day. It actually shouldn't be a surprise either, considering how eager she was for the class... and how much of a buzzing social life she lacked. No matter what, you could bet she saw that sign. Did it say no uniform necessary? She was going to wear it anyway. Plans for the evening? PFFFFT. She was going to be soooo busy, except all of her homework was already done! Hah, talking to people. She didn't need that all the time.. or most of it, really.
Colette arrived, ponytail high and bouncing with every step; and an eternal excited expression of (* u *) on her face at the sight of Professor Red; ready for Gym. Of course, it was not just the class that she was excited for. There was another thing, but that needed some time before being presented.
When she got to the field, students were already warming up! Colette eyed the area for a good spot to stretch and happened to see a demon stretching off to the side, and maybe purposely, alone. There was space, and Colette didn't consider he wanted it unoccupied. He just so happened be in a nice, off to the side spot for the sake of being there! Jogging over, Colette quickly positioned herself horizontally aligned with West and greeted him in an abnormally cheerful way. "HEY WEST!" By now she was already bending down toward her toes and sure on staying there. "I see you're stretching. Yep, great stuff."

In some ways, Natalia hoped the two of them would have gotten past the fight already--even if she had stubbornly chosen not to be the one to give in first.
But Renaissance was making it so easy for the ghoul to hate him, as his heels sort clicked together and spun about, taking the boils back and giving it to the lemur ghoul's curious glance. Remember, he slapped you. Remember, he didn't call you...those were the thoughts she had to drive home...right? Sure Mei had enlightened her on the trips details, but still. He could have told her...yeah...Natalia had to make sure they stuck for as long as this...whatever THIS was continued. For now, Natalia found it a hell of a lot easier to give back what she was getting; turning her somewhat pleasant facade into one that boardered obnoxiously on absolute satisfaction with the whole ordeal, welcoming conversation from anyone, almost...mostly this look beamed for Whisper...and oh, Mei too...Mei...hey, and that one boil from the dance. Dul was it? Bul? Tilting her head, the ghoul concluded that Dul seemed to fit more.
Ugh, forget him. Natalia thought suddenly, drawing into her quiet ponderings once more by correcting herself soon after. Forget about Renaissance, and in effort to satisfy her request, the monster lifted her gaze so that Whisper was in full view, giving the hell hound an appreciative once over. The brunette must have been deep in thought or in her work-out, for she hadn't said very much since the were arrived. But for now that was just fine by Natalia. Those pale legs straightening out as a lean little torso doubled over for a hamstring stretch, exposing a rear both sexy and adorable all at once definitely made up for the silence they shared. Plus, while her attention seemed entirely focused on Whisper's body, her thoughts had long since wandered to where Mei and her boil friend were carrying on. Although the two weren't exactly the best of friends, Mei and Natalia, she felt that with time that would surely change...
And because she felt so sure of this, she also felt the familiar twinge of jealousy trigger as her orange eyes landed casually on the two students. That would be her friend...in time...and that body would be her's to look at...sort of...so...well, Natalia wasn't sure what she should think about Dul (Bul? She wasn't so sure now...) and Mei's interaction, nor was she sure she should get up and make her way over to be a huge c**k-block for introductions. Again.
...But of course, as her head reeled her body had taken the liberty of lifting her off the ground, tapping Whisper on the shoulder so that the ghoul would follow, and walking the white-skinned monster to a plot of grass directly besides the demon and her monster pal. Standing there would just be awkward now, so Natalia grinned wide and spoke politely.
"Excuse me you two, mind if we join you?" It didn't come across so much as a question, but in any case the ghoul turned her head some and lifted both brows curiously. She then crossed one arm over her chest as the smile plastered to her lips grew. Her gaze fell on Mei almost instantly after speaking, pursing her lips before continuing on. This gym class was taking place a few days after the two had met up for the first time in WEEKS, so a formal greeting did not seem all that necessary. "You're looking mighty sporty this afternoon darling."
For now, Natalia kept her sights on the doll; tail switching back and forth at it's end, sweeping the ground in search for Whisper's leg to wrap around.

"Good! Especially after what we talked about," Bul chuckled at Mei and then continued his early workout with a couple jumping jacks. "Oh yea huh... man I am never gonna get that right. I guess being so.. er.. used to.. sweat you know maybe I should stop talking about that.." he rolled his eyes at himself for even saying something so awkward to her. Either way, the whole class may get to see his reddish sweat anyways.
And just as Bul couldn't get any more self-conscious two new ghouls he had yet to meet were making their way over to him and Mei.
Act cool, this is your element.. sorta.. he thought to himself and smiled still doing his jumping jacks. "Not at all," he replied to Natalia then glanced over to Whisper. Wait.. she was awfully familiar...
"Oh aren't... weren't you in the dark cove at the island?" he asked. Was it too out of place to ask such a question? He could've sworn she was there as well as a good number of the students that had shown up for the gym class. Seemed the consensus was mostly the same. Blissfully unaware of how much Natalia enjoyed observing Mei the half beast just kept his wiley smile across his face and finished jumping about to at least carry on a decent conversation.

The wrath demon 'oofed' slightly at Holly's surprise back-check and spun around, his face twisted with irritation until he saw who it was. "Watch where yer goin'!" he called after her, his expression quickly changing to a more welcoming one. He debated following her to wherever she was going, but he would surely see her later. A large part of him didn't want to trail after anyone ever again now that his mark was gone.
He was saved from further uncomfortable thoughts by a blur of Colette out of the corner of his eye that quickly solidified into a real Colette when he turned to face her. The normally stoic reaper (at least in West's eyes) was positively chipper this afternoon.
"Mmm hmm," he replied. He might have been stretching by the loosest definition of the word. It amused him that she seemed to be openly displaying all of the excitement he was feeling. Maybe it wouldn't be too awkward if he was a bit more outwardly enthusiastic as well? West took a long look at Colette and her ponytail and her uniform. Yes. Yes, it would be.
"Excited?" he asked, the grin that Holly had prompted spreading in response to the stretching ghoul.

One by one, students were showing up. She was partially amazed at their dedication. Or was it naivety? A slow smile spread across her lips as she watched them sign up and move off to do their stretches. Perhaps today wouldn't turn out so bad after all. The high-pitched call of her name made her look up and nod towards Israfel. “Good,” she replied, “You wouldn't like to have detention with me again. Trust me.” Another high-pitched greeting made her grin freeze in place. Orange? Claire's pink kitten shirt made the demoness stick out far too easily. A kitten shirt. Pink. Kittens. She was glad she wasn't a student; doing warmups near that shirt would have made her eyes shirt. As it was, she turned her attention elsewhere. As more students filtered in, the smile on her face turned into a pensive frown. She recognized some students; those from the Truth or Dare bust over here, others from the grand finale on the island there... ugh. That damn island! It burned her that she arrived too late. But that was the reason why she threw this class together, paperwork be damned. But – ah! She sniffed the air, her werewolf sense of smell kicking in. She could smell the bookworms. There were those that were unsure of their place here, weaklings ripe for embarrassment and ridicu- no. She wasn't a student anymore; it wasn't her place to bully those who disliked gym. But enough of that. Professor Red whistled, calling for attention. “Oi! Snots! There's enough of you here, I'm going to start. Welcome to gym, today is a field day. Due to how candle Jackin' annoying the bureaucrats are, all battle exhibitions are on hold. This...” She swept her arm out, indicating the field behind her. “This is your training. I'm sure you all remember how... spectacular the island was. Some of you ended up in pieces.” Red wasn't one to mince words, nor pause to let her words sink in. “I don't know what happened. Maybe it was a series of poor choices made by you or by your peers. Or maybe it was a course of bad luck. I don't know, nor do I care, don't give me your story.” “Therefore!” Red held up her hand. “I am going to test both your luck AND your decision making skills. You see this field? You must cross it. Make it to the other side, and you just might get something. I highly recommend that you each cross one at a time.” OOC:Meet your next nightmare. This is the field. You must cross the field, but you may NOT move diagonally. You may only more up or down, left or right. There is a hidden path you must follow. If you step off the path, something may happen. To cross the field, post your path in OOC at the top of your IC post. For example, someone who is impatient may go: (( Someone Who Is Impatient is crossing and using this route: Z10, Z9, Z8, Z7, Z6, Z5, Z4, Z3, Z2, Z1. )) You start on the bottom, and must work your way to the top. Your first number will be 10. You are trying to get to 1. In other words, you start at the very bottom, and must work your way towards the top/the trees. After you post your route, I will post the various successes/fails. You have only one chance. You have until May 25th at 11:59pm PST to post your route!Prizes are available for those that make it to the other side. Good luck! If you have a question, please feel free to shoot me a PM or AIM at OverlordMoogle, or have your student ask ICly!

The boil wasn't...all that bad to look at. Tall, red obviously--Natalia was particularly drawn to the long tail he had, wriggling her own while wondering how it was she managed to miss the boil while prowling the halls of their dormitory. In any case, the thorny student had allure on his side and for that Natalia gave Mei credit. But competition was competition, and although Natalia felt that the demon doll's sexual preference was...well, firm in its stance, the werelemur could not help but move forward with her advances.
However things may turn out.
Black sclera's made the orange at its center glisten brilliantly, her attention falling heavily on Bul as he spoke to her and then to Whisper. Her head bobbed in a quick nod, a motion that was meant to stand in for a proper thank you while her lips parted to cast a toothy grin in his direction. But, while Mei and Whisper had yet to respond, their professor was already prompting the class to begin with today’s--lesson? Course? Whatever.
Having to reposition herself placed the lemur monster directly beside Bul, although not entirely by accident. Watching Red wasn't exactly on the very top of her list at the moment, to be quite honest; still some what stuck on the boil beside her, sizing him up, finding that his height exceeded her own by quite a bit. She was looking at all the tiny attributes that made this kid a friend of Mei's. A good friend at that...good enough to take her to the dance, and to save her life on the Island, perhaps?
Finally, as their professor left them to their assignment, Natalia turned to face the other three--it was probably best that they wait to see how some of the other students did. Plus, the instructions given sort of interrupted their meet-and-greet. Taking both of her pale hands and holding them out to each side, palms facing up, the monster rolled her eyes back and chuckled.
"So anyways..."

Snickering as Bul continued, she waved it off. "I'm not quite used to it yet either, and its my body. I'm not quite sure what my body is actually capable of doing, since my father wanted me to experience them all on my own." Sounding a little irritated over the matter, she'd honestly rather just be told then learn on her own.
Catching sight of a certain gryphon boil crossing over the field, she returned a wave upon spotting his own to her, making a note to greet him properly later. For now, it appeared as though Ren was already busy talking with two other boils she had seen during the trip. Shrugging it off, she spun on her heel, stopping once the werelemur was in view. "Hey Nat, hey Whisp! Sure, I don't mind." With that, she looked to Bul as if to see if he was okay with it as well. Smiling when he agreed to their company, though it nearly faded again upon the mention of 'Dark Cove' Obviously it was something that he must have been referring to after she had died. She would have asked about it, but to be honest, there really wasn't much point.
Returning her gaze to Natalia, still oblivious to the tension rising or anything related to it. Her smile soon returned, she looked herself over quickly, quickly returning her gaze to her. "Heh heh. I don't know about that. I just grabbed something more casual is all--" Her attention was drawn off to the professor when her voice boomed over the field to grab their attention. "Hmm~ Looks like things are starting.." They had to choose a path? But? Which one? They all looked the same to her. "Aw Damn.. Er--which one do you suppose we should take guys?" She asked, looking to Bul, Natalia and Whisper for ideas.

"Ready for class?" Jericho asked the nearby Riley before hearing someone calling for everyone's attention. Looking up, he saw Red amongst them now. He glanced from her to the field they were by, frowning at the mention of the fact that a number of them had ended up in pieces. The dragon was one of those people. And it wasn't really something he cared to be reminded of.
Considering the task they were given, it was a safe bet to assume that the field wasn't as empty as it seemed. Perhaps there were some pitfalls or other similar traps.
He looked at the field carefully, not completely certain how he should go about dealing with this. It seemed that this was going to be mostly based on luck as he couldn't see anything about the field that would really help with any decision making.

(thanks for allowing the extra five people!) Some would wonder how doing a handstand could be considered stretching, but checking ones sense of balance is also part of warming up, at least for the Hellhound. However all the blood that was rushing to Damien's head was starting to make him wobble on the limbs that weren't used having all the weight braced on it as he had to bail out of the stand.
His head still swam from the pressure change as Demi looked about the crowd that was slowly breaking up to the point where faces could be been and not be considered an amorphous blob of drama. He squinted his eyes at the sight f people he knew from the recent trip, the cracked ghoul and the boil that took a beating, whom seemed to make a great recovery as he stood tall. Taller than Demi expected, feeling much tinier now than before he continued to look for a familiar face in the crowd of unknowns. After a few minutes of bouncing on his heels to peek above from around the frame of one mighty tall boil, he saw the bright red hair that could not be mistaken for anyone else in this group. Considering the class, he shouldn't have t question it, even if the hound couldn't see the face. It was clearly West, who had been busy chatting it up with a ghoul that Demi couldn''t recall seeing before, but was pushed away as he saw a wave of a hand that caught his eye, connecting the limb to the face and friendly grin of Ren. "Thank Jack, I don't feel so awkward at least knowing one person in here!" It was such a relief.
The relief soon went went away as someone clearly took the lead of the mass of students and explained what they were doing here. The infamous professor Red he heard about since entering this place, this must be her. It came with a heavy realization that the field was more than just your everyday surface and came with hidden surprises. I think enough surprises have been sprung up in the past few weeks, thanks.
Now came the question of how well our instincts were honed. He couldn't help but feel that the infirmary is going to be very busy soon.

Under the assumption that everyone here wanted to be here, Unstabul had yet to discover that amongst them were a couple of students who preferred to be doing less.. excruciating things. He'd soon find out though and make it his duty not to let them drag him down amongst his fellow peers. As for those he knew though he'd keep an eye out- there wouldn't be any more leaving behind. Hyde's words then echoed in his mind.
Watching other people go down instead of yourself doesn't have to be ah....unfun
A brief word from Natalia brought his conscious back to the now. "...anyways guess this means we gotta get ready.." he replied to Mei and the others and knelt slightly. "There's no way we're gonna make a straight shot over, that would be far too easy.." he said. For a brief moment the monster thought it best if everyone chose a different route. After all, the school setting couldn't possibly pose a lethal threat to them... or could it? No, there was definitely no way it could meet the island's standards but Red's were not something Bul was familiar with.
The boil looked towards Red for a moment and digested the rules of engagement. There were plenty of people cut to pieces but also smashed, crushed, dropped down a dark chasm, stabbed by dancing cloaked figures, attacked by their own minds, almost eaten by other students. Bul couldn't help a shudder remembering the hungry little ghoul staring him down.
"One at a time?" Well that hindered Bul's first promise of not splitting up... though it did make sense for evaluation reasons. Turning back to Mei and Nat, he shook his head. "Looks like we're each making separate runs. Who wants to go first?" he asked with a light chuckle. It didn't matter to him though, in fact, he'd probably bolt ahead should Mei chose to run first.
((Will probably make the route in the next post))

(( Because I am a derp, I forgot to mention two additional things: 1) You can copy the game board and use any sort of art program to trace your route out. Again, you can only move vertical and horizontal -- no diagonals please! 2) If nobody makes a move, then Red can and will pick people to go. They will have a certain amount of time to create their course, else they are forfeiting the class. And forfeiting the class means getting booted out of it. Being kicked out means you forfeit both RP growth points and prizes, so it's highly recommended that you try something! ))

Whisper had clearly gotten very into her skipping, as for the most part she had spaced out and not really heard anything anyone was saying to her. She wasn't trying to be rude by ignoring them, it just kinda happened. She was a little surprised that even her lovely Natalia didn't snap her out of it. But when Red spoke, she came crashing back into reality.
When the teacher was finished she then addressed those she had so regrettably not responded to. "Hey Natalia, good to see you came out. Looks like this is going to be awfully interesting that's for sure..."
Next was Bul. She completely stopped moving. She wasn't even sure if she was still breathing. "Yeah...it was the dark cove...I don't really like thinking about that place. It still sends chills down my spine. Though I'm glad everyone made it out..."
She then turned to Mei and gave a rather excited wave. She hadn't seen the ghoul in forever. "Hey! How have you been?"
Whisper folded up her rope and tucked it into her bag. This course seemed too...simple. There had to be some kind of trick to it. Well, hopefully.
