I will ask them to send me to the dormitories first then... they can't have much of a reason to keep me here... I told them I saw people like me at the secret Santa event so..." He sighed and rubbed at his eyes to get the remaining tears away. "Thank you Zahur... I don't know how much longer I would have lasted here..."

Zahur nodded slowly. "That is a good idea. Let me know as soon as you can what they say. If they don't listen to you..." he paused for a moment, "maybe they will listen to me. I am very good at talking with people."
Zahur then picked up one of the animals in the fantasy box. "This one is a gryphon, right?" he asked, as if the whole sad conversation had never happened. Tobias deserved some normalcy in this playdate of theirs after all.

"I will, definitely..." Tobias nodded a little and then glanced at the figurine in question. "Yes, I have a white and a black one as well somewhere in here..." He sifted through the box until he found the ones he was searing for. "See? The white one is my favorite."

"I like them both," Zahur said with a nod. "They are both masterfully crafted, and both have very nice detail to them." He looked at Tobias after looking at the black one for a bit. "Do you have a favorite figurine over all?" he asked.

Tobias paused for a moment, not because he didn't know which one, but because he was slightly paranoid about bringing it out... what if there were hidden cameras? He looked to a seemingly ordinary box on the shelf and then crawled on hands and knees over to it, tail waving in the air. Once there he opened the top and proceeded to hit some buttons before it made a clicking noise. He pulled out the figurine inside, or rather, the two inside.
"Mother and Father have a lot of information in their heads... I found out their card numbers and used them to buy them online. They didn't notice because I did it about the same time that they bought me some from the store so..." He crawled back over and held them out to Zahur. They were both demonic figures, one male and one female, both had horns, wings and tails. "They're black, so it's not like me but... it made me happy to see that there were figurines like me. It's just disappointing that they look so..... mean." He shook his head a bit.

"Ah, very nice," Zahur said, looking at them and taking the female in his hands to examine her. "Well, humans are an odd sort. If one thing is mean they think everything like them are the same way. Very dull minded race they are, but I don't judge every human like that. I know there are some redeeming humans, so I give everyone a chance, too bad most humans can't be like that..."
"I do like these though. I love the detailing in the horns especially."

"Yes, that's what I've learned in the videos I find online... many humans can be terrible... but I've seen some nice ones, too. Not in person, but..." He shrugged a little, moving the male one around in his hands. "Yes, they're very detailed... There were some bigger ones for sale with a lot more detail than this, but my parents would have noticed if I had gotten them." He shrugged again and set the incubus figurine down. "So... are you an elf, Zahur?" A bit of a smile spread over his face. Elves were always so beautiful in all of the pictures he saw, and the figurines were even more beautiful.

"Nymph actually," he said with a nod. "I get that a lot actually though, seeing as I really don't show many characteristics of that race. I suppose it comes from my item being man made while nymphs are creatures of nature. While most nymphs are aligned to one of the four main elements, I seem to have a little bit of each. Maybe that's why I am so plain in comparison to nymphs I see in books. I have yet to meet another meta nymph though so I do not know if this is common among meta made nymphs"

"Oh, a nymph?" Even Tobias had to agree, Zahur looked nothing like the nymphs he'd seen in pictures online. "Well, being a mix must be cool. You can do things other nymphs can't then." He smiled and nodded his head a bit. "I wonder if the school has a list of how many students are what... it'd be nice to know if there are other incubi out there. I had a babysitter who said her boyfriend is an incubus."

"That one bright colored girl who gave you those books at the secret santa thing was a succubus right? She looked like one anyway..." Zahur commented. "There should be a list. I mean, it'd be useful to know ahead of time what your roomate in the dorms is so you don't act weird the first day you see them if they have less than common features."

"Yes, she was... she was really loud though... I don't know if we would get along very well." He shrugged a little bit. "But, she seemed nice despite the volume control issues." At the mention of less than common features, Tobi couldn't help but look down at his tail which was passively lying on the floor next to him. "Y-yeah..."

Zahur patted Tobi and smiled. "Believe it or not but I have seen odder. There was a girl at a dance who had snakes in her hair and for a tail. She had purple skin too. My brother has gray skin. You'll fit in just fine at the dorms."

"Really?" Tobi raised a brow curiously. "Like Medusa? Is it dangerous to look in her eyes? She sounds really interesting... If she's friendly I would like to meet her I think." Tobi's small smile returned. "I didn't know you had a brother... what's it like? I wanted a sibling for awhile, but I gave up since it would probably just make it more miserable here."

"I didn't meet her myself. She was a teenager or an adult and I was a toddler then. She was talking to other people though and she didn't seem to turn anyone to stone...except maybe that one boy but I think he was just staring at her because he thought she was pretty..." he mused.
"Oh, yes, River. He's an angelic meta and my older brother, though now he and I are currently the same age stage, though he'll probably be growing older soon..." He listened to Tobi and then nodded slowly. "Yes, unless you adopt a child as a younger sibling once you move to the dorms or something like that."

"That's cool.. but... I guess if she's that old she won't really want to talk to someone my age." He sighed. Why was there just... something wrong about him just about every time something cool came up? "I guess that could work, but I'd have to meet people first... I've only really met four people, if we could the succubus girl."
