Phyras's eyes darkened, nearly red when his face turned twisted, nearly snarling under his breath. "I will make everyone love me. I will make this entire world love me and bow at my feet. I won't be left alone again. I will never be alone. They are mine, and will always be mine. They belong to me."
That was when the rare sign of hurt flashed across his face, the strong and powerful male showed the pain. Left alone by his parents to die, crying out for them until he met a fiery male. Forcing him to obey him because he didn't understand real affection. Then Blaze left. Then he was alone. He was always alone. Until he figured out how to manipulate people. How to force them down. How to break them to his will.
"I won't be unloved again."

"I hate to burst your bubble kid but forcing foxes to like you isn't real affection. It's fake, pure and simple Phyras." Blaze looked at the still very young boy and sighed as he shook his head. "I know it's partly, a large part, my fault that you came out so twisted but damn." He frowned, "I feel sorry for you Phyras." He looked at the mountains of foxes fawning over the pink male and cringed. "That isn't love. That is manipulation and trickery, and if you can't tell the difference from real affection, real love then you're never going to be happy Phy."
"Are you happy? Do these foxes make you happy? Ordering them around like brain washed pawns would get really old for me really fast. I want someone that would genuinely come to love me on their own free will because when that happens...when you know it's real....that is the sweetest sensation you will ever experience."

His eyes widened, a wild anger in them for a brief second. What? This... this was affection! They needed him! They loved him! Phyras jerked his head to the side, eyes narrowing as the large male tensed. "It's good enough for me." He snapped back, ears twitching as he jerked around to look at Blaze. "It's good enough! They won't leave me." He looked at the foxes, wondering why this seemed so wrong to Blaze. Wasn't that love? One person took it and the other gave it? He looked at Blaze with a confused and yet dangerous expression.
"Love isn't sweet. It never is. You must be delusional. One person gives and the other takes." Phyras was not going to give this up, this was... they loved him! No matter what Blaze said!

Blaze looked at the pink fox sadly, "It's good enough for you Phyras..." It was the saddest thing he had ever heard. Why couldn't he have found that little kit that night? Why did fate separate them and turn that cute, obnoxious kit into this dictator? It wasn't fair.
"Love is supposed to be sweet....and gentle....and...." He shook his head, "I can tell you one thing for sure that it isn't this." He gestured to the foxes surrounding them, "This is an abomination...Love is about giving Phyras...not taking."

Phyras stared at Blaze, his tail lashing back and forth. The look made him back away a step, eyes narrowing. "Are you... pitying me? Don't! My life here is amazing! I have people who will do anything for me!" His fur bristled, however his eyes followed to the mass of foxes. Foxes who he barely knew the names of. Foxes who he couldn't remember where he had picked them up from. His eyes flicked to Blaze, staring hard.
"What would you know?" He hissed, however his eyes flicked back to the foxes behind him, then at Blaze. "Gentle? Gentle?! Love is..." He stopped, recoiling slightly, then going silent.

"I do pity you Phyras." Blaze stepped back out of the group of females. He didn't want to be associated with this. "You may think that your life is wonderful here, but I can see that it is nothing more then a hollow shell. You want everyone to think that you're happy but I don't think you are."
The candle fox turned away from the group and looked down at the bity beneath them. "This place his poision. What you're doing to these foxes his wrong Phy. Love is something that you should earn, not this trickery that you have here. I'm sorry...I can't be a part of this."
Blaze hopped down on a step and took one last look back at the male, so grown up now.

He watched as Blaze left, nearly about to snarl out his name. However his voice caught and he stood there, eyes wide and body trembling slightly. What the hell was this male trying to prove? Blaze had left before Phyras could snap out of it, so, he turned back to the group, not responding to the collective cry of his name. He ignored it, flopping over into the corner and closing his eyes.
What the hell was happening to his world? To his family? What the hell was Blaze talking about?

Blaze woke up the next morning, he had spent most of the night tossing and turning trying to think of a way to fix what had happened to Phyras. But he was afraid that the male was beyond saving now. It had took too many years to find him, and now he had some warped opinion on love and relationships.
"Phy..." He looked up at the building he knew the pink fox was on and sighed sadly. "I hate to leave you here but....you said you were happy. I guess....I'm just going to have to live...with what I've done." He looked down at the ground. He had never felt more shame then he did at that moment.
Phyras would be miserable forever because of him.

"Why are you sorry?"
Phyras stood in-front of Blaze, eyes harsh as he stared at him. He jerked his head to the side, moving it to look at Blaze in seconds. "I don't understand." He grumbled. "I don't understand why you seem to think love is sweet and gentle." He glanced at the city, glanced at Blaze, glanced at the ground. "I want to prove you wrong." He said, though this was a lie. He didn't know why he was here, didn't even know anymore.
"I told them to go home." He said, gritting his teeth. "Because I'm coming with you." He looked at Blaze, eyes narrowing. "And I'll prove you wrong."

Blaze looked at him bewildered. "You're coming with me?" He blinked. Then again. Was he hearing the male right? He was giving up all that he had, all that he claimed to make him happy to follow Blaze around. His heart started to pound in his ears. Was it possible that it wasn't too late for Phyras? Was it possible that Blaze could still find some way to save him.
"Well...." Blaze could only smile at the pink fox, "Come on..." The older male chuckled, the first happy sound to come from his lips in the longest time.

He wasn't one to usually follow, he did the leading. However when the older male spoke he moved to follow at a distance behind him. The pink male was wary. Why? Because. He didn't know, dammit! It was strange, Blaze was so devoted to this idea of a sweet, soft love. A love he didn't even know was true or not.
He was confused, more so that he didn't even know what to expect. What was this male going to show him? Was this male delusional? Was Blaze on shrooms?

"I'm going to take you somewhere Phyras...Somewhere where I can prove to you that love is gentle...and sweet." Blaze looked over his shoulder at the pink male. "Have you heard of the tribe Yasashii?"
He kept walking, leaving through the gates. He wanted to get as far away from this city as he could. He brought nothing but bad memories to him. He wanted to bring Phyras back to a caring fox, one full of love and compassion. Not that he was like that as a kit, but Blaze could hope couldn't he.

"No."
Phyras looked at Blaze, raising an eyebrow. What did some tribe have to do with anything, huh? Wait, was Blaze trying to make him join a tribe? Hell no. Hell no. He scowled, however followed the man for the time being. The man who believed in myths and lies your mother told you to cover up the fact that daddy didn't love her, or him for the matter. Lies your sister told you after she had three litters, all from different men, claiming it was love. Oh, he never had a biological family, but he had heard the stories.

"Don't look so sour Phyras...I am not taking you there to make you join or anything. It is where one of my daughters lives." Blaze chuckled as he shook his head, "If anyone can show you love...Embry is the one. She has always been....the most loving little girl I have ever met. And recently she has taken a mate for herself." The male looked at Phyras and smiled.
"Besides...I always wanted you to meet her. For some strange reason....you always reminded me a little of her when you were a kit." He smiled at the thought. Their personalities were completely different, and they didn't look anything alike. But for some reason. He shook his head. Now was not the time to figure it out. "Come on....It's going to be a long walk to the tribe."

He rolled his eyes, narrowing them at him. "Love for a child?" He grumbled, following despite his dislike for the topic. Of course Blaze would pretend to love his daughter, children would do anything for their parents, due to some blood tie they always spoke of. It wasn't love. It was a bond because of blood, a forceful bond that sadly could not be broken. Perhaps these thoughts came from his own hate towards the fact that he himself never had a family?
"I remind you of a girl?" He asked, eyes widening. "Thanks." He was becoming more and more confused, confused by Blaze's little game of showing him lies, confused by why Blaze even seemed to care, and confused that he reminded him of a girl.
