Toni grinned. "You think we aren't the only ones here? Granted this is a big area it seems, but surely someone would have run into us as well besides that mean nasty lizard." He started after Emi. "But I shall try my very best to catch the best food before someone else does," he said with a grin.

Emi smiled."Yeah I think there would be othwers here, I mean its a forest were not the only predators here." theres still wolves, mountain lions, bears, birds , you know, things like that. and they are all pretty much bigger then us..." Emi nodded very happy with herself.
"and I wouldnt want you to get eaten by a bear. I would cry..."she faked a pout."so lets get going, what are we looking for?"

Toni chuckled. "Just cry? No not absolutely living with without me?" He looked around. "Hey, you're the one who's hungry. I'm just along for the ride and the discraction if we run across any of the animals you've mentioned." He grinned. "Though I do suggest we don't go looking for any animals bigger than we are."

Em sighed."well what do you want me to say I'd jump off a cliff? Im not suicidal Toni, crying for a long time would be bad enough. I donty think Id recover thoufgh and Id live my life alone....well maybe I'd mooch off Voltaire and Nora..."she griined at the freeloader comment. it was soon though that she spotted a deer."Hey Toni Look!"

Toni smiled. "Well good to know that I won't be what causes you to die." And he liked the idea of freeloading. He just never had to do that himself. He studied the deer. "Would the princess like me to chase after yonder creature so that she may eat?"

Emi nodded."would you kindly?" she closed her eyes into a fox like smile. soon she would be eating deer. the best meat ever according to some others she had spoke to on occasion.
"I'll back you up if his family attacks...."Emi giggled ducking down into a pouncing position."so go get em Honey!"

Toni grinned. "Please do. I do not want to be killed by deer. A very unheroic way of dying for sure." With that he was off after Emi's choice of meal. He loved chasing after stuff. Yes he was lazy by nature, loved sleeping more than anything; but when sleeping you couldn't get the wind rushing through your fur unless a storm was brewing. And the adrenaline rush! Toni felt like he could go on forever. Seemed like they had too before he finally managed to get the deer onto the ground.

Emi smiled when he wrestled the deer to the ground."good job toni!!!" she yelled jumping out of the bushes."you didnt get hurt right?" she asked looking from him to the deer.
"Ok now what?" she asked looking at the new defenseless deer."How do we kill it....is there a way we can do it without alot of blood spilling all over the place?"

"Perfectly fine." Toni looked down at the deer, frowning. He had caught the deer. He did not know what to do know. Toni looked at Emi and shrugged. "Is there even a way?" He looked back at the deer and stepped away. "You sure you want to eat him?"

Emi laughed."ya know I kinda dont anymore...."Emi looked down at the deer. I would have nightmares if I killed something or someone killed something for me... even if Im hungry, plus its got a familty Im sure...also there are foxes who look like deer....so this may count as canibalism if you think about it...wanna let it go and go find something else to eat like a bird or a fish....?" Emi seriousl;y didnt want to be a murderer, and they say that all serial killers start with animals.

Toni nodded. "Would be a good idea. Can't have deer chasing after us after all," he said with a grin. He turned in the direction he had run from. "And you did have fish on the list instead of deer." He tilted his head. "Cannibalism? I wouldn't think it would be since we're foxes and they're deer. Though you might see this deer if we had killed it anytime you looked at a fox that looked like a deer."

Emi looked over at the world around them."I think a river may be close by..." her ears began moving almost like sonars searching for a rumble of water. after a few seconds she found one."This way!" she pointed north of their current location. "I hear water this way...Im sure we can find some fish this way."

Toni looked the way she pointed. "You must have some amazing hearing." He grinned. "Shall we? All that running made me hungry." He thought for s moment. "Unless that river has monster fish....I don't think even I could take those down."

Emi nodded."of course I mean my ears are this big" she said scratching her ear. she started walking towards the sound of running water definitely a river."and Dont worry about monster fish we can take em." she winked looking back as she continued forward.
Fish sounded so good right now though, especially salmon.

Toni swallowed whatever comment he was going to say about big ears. Instead he followed Emi. "Unless there's a school of them. I'm sure even then we'd have a hard time fighting them off." With a grin Toni poked Emi in the side and took off. "Tag!"
