Kallichore blinked, focusing again very steadily on Europa as she explained something... something about memories? Memories of what? What it was like to be on the moon they were from? That didn't make any sense. That could have been hundreds or thousands of years ago, couldn't it? Did they... all have a past that could be brought about by visiting their home world? It felt very overwhelming to Kallichore at that moment. "You said... your memories. That means you remembered something that happened during the time when the planet was inhabited. Which means... we have some kind of collective past? Is that true?"
If that was the case, then Kallichore would have to make a trip to her moon as soon as possible, and bring a notepad. And hope there was air on the desolate place. If Kallichore was anything like Europa, it too would be abandoned, perhaps in ruins. If she could find some information about the past, it could possibly help her in the present. Who knows? Either way, she was determined to go.
"I would assume that most, if not all of Jupiter's moons were subservient but... I guess it would make the most sense, wouldn't it? If that was the case, do you think the moons and their senshi were connected?" A few moments of silence passed before she added, "Do you think we were connected?"

Europa chewed her lip some more, deep in thought, piecing things together. "A thousand years ago, the Earth's moon was the center of an empire that stretched out across the solar system. And then, all the other stars, they had kingdoms, too, and the senshi are sort of... echoes? Echoes of that."
If Kallichore hadn't yet grasped that just because you'd been in this for a year and a half didn't mean you knew anything about the underlying causes... well, Europa hoped she was starting to, because she wasn't sure how much longer she could feign historical competence.
She tapped a finger against her chin. "I know that Europa and Ganymede were friends in the past. I don't know about you and I, but it's definitely possible...?"
Then again, Kallichore was small by its own senshi's description. So who knew what kind of if mixing the previous Senshi of Europa would have had with the stellar equivalent of Rhode Island.

The Earth's moon was the center of an empire that spanned the solar system? Holy cow. The simple scale of that empire would have been nothing short of colossal. And that filled in another piece of the puzzle - installing a lunar ruler for the hell of it never made any sense to Kallichore when Zinkenite mentioned it, but now that Europa made it clear that this Serenity was the principle figure in an empire spanning an entire solar system... the gravity of the supposed mission was quite heavy to say the least. The newbie senshi was quiet in her contemplation as Europa explained all this.
After a curt nod, Kallichore spoke again. "I think I will take your advice and leave to find my moon sometime soon. I have a feeling I can learn a great deal from it, just like you learned so much from going to Europa." She wasn't sure how she felt about chasing the past and doubted whether or not the past would even present itself to her (no pun intended). Even if she didn't learn a thing, simply seeing the Earth from a different perspective was spine-tingling at the very least.
"If you and Ganymede were friends in the past, perhaps the past Kallichore was friends with some of the other moons. I guess I will have to see?"

Europa clapped her hands together briefly, a good teacher proud of her student. By Jove, Kallichore was getting it! "Exactly!" she said happily. "And who knows, maybe I knew you and I just haven't seen you yet? Anyways, go, have fun, tell me what you find-"
Europa glanced around the alley and held a finger to her lips. She crept back out to the street and looked around.
"Do you hear that?" she asked.
The night was silent.
"That is the sound of evil never sleeping," said Europa. "And I need to go finish my patrol and put it to bed. Here, hold on-"
She gently tugged Kallichore's phone out of the scout's hands and pressed a few buttons on it. It made a ding! sound. Europa passed it back. "I programmed my number. Drop me a text if you want to patrol, or just talk?" she asked. "Anyways - back to work for me."
She jerked a thumb over her shoulder, indicating the wide expanse of the neighborhood that she had yet to survey. "Good to meet you, Sailor Kallichore!"
The eternal senshi of the deep bounded off into the night.
