Apollo laughed. "Whoa Babe, slow down! Ya don't gotta choke on your questions, I'm not gonna vanish before you get them all out," he said. It actually reminded him of when he was little. Kits were always asking questions.
"Le's see. Well Neytiri is actually mated to Jake. They look a whole lot alike, but they aren't related or anything, which is kinda funny. Uuumm." Now he paused, wracking his brain. His dad knew more about the thing with Riku, and was a lot easier at fending off what he considered "nosy" questions. All he could offer was a very basic picture, and some guesses.
"Well all I know is the mother of his kids is in another tribe. She actually came down and visited with her daughter, that one time. I think their kids are from a random breeding that just happened, though Riku does seem to care about her and all." Apollo chewed on his lower lip, trying to recall if there was anything else to recall.

Evoe pouted when he laughed, sticking her tongue out. "Well, how do I know you aren't going to run off?" She grumbled, smiling after. So, it was a big family! She listened carefully about Riku, nodding when he was done. Well, she understood it better now. She shook her head, laughing slightly when the wind fluffed her hair into her face and cut her line of view out. When she fixed her hair her eyes spotted the setting sun, widening.
This called for an idea.
"Hey, boy~" She grinned at him, jabbing her tail at the sky. "That. Let's climb the biggest tree nearby and watch it set." Now, it wasn't the sun she was really going after. It was just a bribe to get Apollo to join her. What she really wanted was to climb a tree!

Apollo's wide grin rivaled Evoe's. "Race you to the top," he crowed, and then bounded forward. In this area there were not quite so many lower branches, so it was going to be interesting to see whether his parkour-style of climbing was better than Evoe's freestyle.
((Sorry that was so short XD Maybe roll a die, see who won the race, and do a time skip in your next post? Evens for Apollo, odds for Evoe?))

Evoe was totally bummed. Apollo had beaten her with his fancy little jumping. She sat on the top of the tree, pouting some distance from him as she caught her breath. She was panting, however not badly. Her tail flicked, ripping apart a leaf with a quick, violent flick. Her tail was pretty strong for the vixen, lolling side to side in a faint, uneven rhythm. She was so tempted to whip Apollo for beating her, but instead glanced at the setting sun.
"Woah, it's pretty!" She squeaked, leaning forward.

Apollo's reaction to Evoe's pouting was sheer amusement. It had become pretty clear that she was a lot more competitve than he was, and that it rankled that he'd won the climbing race. Honestly he would have been shocked if he hadn't, living with a tree-climbing dad and a forest-dwelling clan. He'd been here practically since he'd crawled out of his BCR!
Evoe just needed some time to get used to the giant trees. Who knew, she might just beat him next time. No use in pointing this out though, Evoe would probably just glare. And he would just laugh, and she would probably attempt to push him out of the tree. Not that Apollo thought that he'd get hurt, but he was sure Evoe would feel bad about it later. Why tempt her?
He did let a chuckle break through in response to Evoe's exclamation of the sunset. "Course it is Babe, we got some of the prettiest scenery you'll ever come across." Apollo stretched lazily, watching the sun setting himself. "The really rad stuff happens once the sun goes down though."

Evoe scowled at the male when he called her babe, tempted to say he had lost the rights when he beat her. However the sunset was pretty, and she relaxed. She looked over at the male, rolling her eyes briefly. Oh, he was cute, he was lucky about that. Or else she certainly would have shoved him out of the tree. Yawning, the vixen realized just how late she had stayed up last night, and how it was affecting her now. Great. First she lost a race, and now was tired. Lame. She was lame. The vixen scowled, sleep was for the weak.
"Say, the fireflies will come out soon." She purred. She loved the little glowing bugs, they were fun to watch and catch. She loved putting them in her tail fluff so her tail would glow, too. Though she always released them. Except that one time...ugh.

Apollo chuckled. "More than the bugs glow around here." Then he winked. "Don't worry if you fall asleep though. I can totally carry you down to the ground without dropping either of us. Piece of cake." A little white lie; he'd be mentally cussing like a sailor the whole time and having to watch his footing every step of the way. Still, he'd at least be able to make it to the ground without accidently pitching Evoe off his back or slipping and pitching both[ of them out of the tree.
((...Apollo, she's going to shove you out of the tree if you don't shut it.))

Evoe huffed, glaring straight at Apollo. "Bragging?" She mused, shaking her head. She pushed at Apollo, shaking her head before starting to move a little closer to the thinner part of the branch, clawing at the leaves poking out from it. "Tell me why I shouldn't just push you out, mister." She mused, shaking her head at the male. He was getting cocky, she should test him. Then again, if he got hurt she would feel terrible, and Evoe didn't want that.
Instead, she once again nudged at him, smirking at the male playfully. She was close to shoving a firefly in his mouth.

Apollo shrugged carelessly. "Just layin' out the truth babe. Ain't no shame in my game, just keepin' it real." He cocked his head to the side and grinned, nudging her back with his nose. "But don't let me take up all the glory. You don't seem like the type to hold back when ya've got something to say."
Indeed, threatening to push him out of the tree was certainly bold and only amused him. Maybe he should have been a bit concerned, but he was too cofindent in his abilites to catch himself if Evoe even tried. It was hard for anyone to just fall out of the top of a tree without catching at least one branch.

Hmpf! She was probably faster than him! Evoe puffed up, smirked, and leapt down onto a lower branch, landing gracefully and looking up, "Fine. Lets race. First one to get to that little pond I saw from up here wins. Loser has to do whatever that person wants all night." With this she started to head down, determined to win. She'd make him dunk his head into the water and swallow a fish whole! Jerk! Of course, she liked the boy, he was funny, but that didn't mean she wasn't competitive. No, she wasn't even that. She just wanted to beat him! Apollo was beating her at her own game!
"Come on, beach boy~" She called out, referring to the way he spoke as she headed down.
(( Once again dice roll? Odds Evoe wins, even Apollo. You roll. ))

(('Kay : ) ))Apollo snorted. "All night, babe? You overestimate my stamina." He winked at her, grinning cheekily. "How about the winner just gets a simple request. You can even save it for another time, like a favor, so no pressure by time lines."
He chuckled as Evoe already started hopping down the trees. "Righteous. Love a doll with fire to her." He began a free-fall down to the ground, bouncing off items as he went.
------------------------------------
Apollo dabbed a paw in the water, waiting to see what Evoe would cook up for him. He'd actually won the climbing part, making it to the ground first, but it seemed like he got his dad's ground-running abilities. Which was, to say, slow. Maybe he should have tried bouncing off things more. Ah well, he'd try that next time.

Evoe raised her head as she padded up behind Apollo, having gone off to see if the sound she had heard was a bunny, which it hadn't been, sadly. She was proud, and it showed as she puffed her chest out. She had won the race! Her body stopped when Apollo was poking the water, a grin on her face. Delighted, she waggled her tail, lowered her torso, and wiggled her bottom before letting out a loud squeal.
"Gotcha!" With this she leapt on Apollo, pushing him into the water and leaping off before she could fall in, too. She slipped by the side of the pond, grin on her face as Apollo fell in, giggling.

Thank goodness for quick reaction times. Apollo couldn't have avoided Evoe's attacked, but he was able to keep it from knocking the breath out of him. Actually, he'd gotten in a good gulp of air before he went down.
Omaticaya was known for it's crystal clear waters, one of the few places not tainted by humans. The sides were also quite steep, so it didn't take more than a quick roll, adding to the momentum of being pushed, and he was in water deep enough to swim.
He paddled down towards the bottom, peeking up towards the face of Evoe peering in the water after him and giving her a wide grin.

Evoe stuck her tongue out at the male, highly amused as he settled near the bottom. Why was he grinning? She had won, obviously! Did he not see who was in the water and who was on dry land? She grinned though, rolling her eyes and poking the water with her paw, grimacing. He had fallen in that cold water? Laughing, Evoe lapped up a few sips, eyes leaving Apollo for a second.
"He swims like an otter. Not like I've seen one, just heard 'bout them." She absently mused, rubbing her muzzle. When he came for air she'd pounce on him again for sure!

As soon as Evoe looked away, Apollo launched himself off from the bottom. Most didn't realize, with air bubbles still in his coat and a good kick, not to mention the air he was still storing in his lungs, that he could rise fast. His coat actually provided a nice camoflage too, what with it being dark now. The rocks were naturally luminescent in the light, and some riddled with blue and purple. He blended in very well, so that the only warning Evoe would get was a burst of movement.
It would be too late though.
((I see one of two options happening. Either Evoe gets caught and pulled in the water, or she pulls back in time to avoid getting pulled in, but still gets wet from all the water Apollo brings up with him. I'll let you decide which you want to do.))
