smile Aeris has always been a kind and caring soul...so if she realized what sort of past and childhood Sephiroth had (one similar to hers when she was younger) she would perhaps look past his insanity and feel pity for the guy. After all, her mother and she managed to escape Hojo's labs and cruel human experiments, but Sephiroth never did. He remained behind in those labs, getting tubes and wires shoved through his veins and flesh, constantly being monitered and pushed to become the ideal soldier...and damn if Hojo isn't just hella creepy...(makes ya wonder if he did anything to his son...

Sooo...while he was in effect getting daily mental and physical torture since the day he stepped outta the artificial womb, Aeris was living with a new surrogate mother, having a childhood...even if it was filled with difficulties.
They in essence shared similar roots...and that's something she maybe realized as she went to pray fearlessly in that temple.
Yeah Seph was off his rocker...yeah he was a killing machine...yeah he tried to kill the planet...but at one time, he really was human...
So *Takes a breath from her ranting* that is why I could see a possiblilty of them getting together. Of course there would be no way in hell it would be a simple, easy relationship...both parties would have to work past obstacles and inner turmoil to even come close to accepting one another...but I do find it possible.
