Taichi aimlessly walked around the Village hoping to find something to do or someone to hand with but no one was around yet. Ah crap he thought putting his hands in his pockets. While walking he remembered over hearing the Mizukage talking to Ichiro about some temple that was far away in the back of the Kirigakure. He had never been there before but he had nothing to do and this would be another way for him to increase his repertoire. This was going to be a long shot but what did he have to lose. Pulling the sleeves off of his shirt he used the fabric to tie his hair into a pony tail in preparation of his journey. There was only one problem. What way was it? Using his common sense he headed to the far corner of the village which brought him to the entrance of the pitch black forest.
As he entered the cave he grew increasing paranoid with every step. It was so dark and there were so many sounds coming from every direction that he couldn't concentrate. Then there was a loud rare like bumping crash sound that felt as if something ran across him. Oh hell no he jumped. Doing a few minor hand seals he used his Twin Raiton Daggers technique. Even though it was an attack the dagger was still made of pure electricity which means it was a small source of light. For the next half and hour he walked along a path and noticed a small light in the distance. Once reaching the exit it was hard to handle the bright light of the sun since he had been in the darkness for so long. After his eyes were back to normal he came across a huge iron gate. Well look at what we have here he said ringing the bell.

Taichi got the chance to meet the head monk in the main part of the temple which was cold and damp but was very beautifully designed. The way the candles were placed around the Statues of previous monks and Mizukages was truly inspiring and gave those of the Mist pride in there Village. When it was time to speak with the Head Monk it would seem that he was gracious enough to allow Taichi to train there.
With the Head Monks consent the other monks directed him to the back of the temple where the training grounds were divided into two sections. One was made for Suiton based jutsu. This section of the temple was filled with water on the ground and had a fountain built into the wall. On the other side, you had to train you're fuuton jutsu. That side had no roof making it easier to maneuver in the air if necessary.
Choosing the Suiton side Taichi was left locked inside the room to train. Upon being shut inside a room alone Taichi's face changed from the humbled smiling face he normally had into a more mature and serious one. He did not plan on leaving that room until he was at his goal. This meant he would be there for a week or more. It didn't matter to him as long as he got it done. Suiton was one of the founding elements he learned as a genin so it be only fit that he beef up his knowledge in it.
Pulling out a scroll of the wall he read the list of "D" ranked jutsu and quickly put it back. Cake walk he said to himself moving towards the center of the room. Closing his eyes he remembered the first jutsu on the scroll being Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu. Taichi knew his way when it came to making Bunshin no matter what the element was since he was able to master it in one of it's highest levels. It was simple think of himself and focus on molding the chakra. With that in mind he began the process. Holdingt his hands together he pushed his chakra into the water, with a few hand seals the chakra would fuse with the water and rise. The water rose into a large orb just before it shifted into a humanoid shaped figure. After about a few second the water turned into a perfect replica of Taichi. Knowing his attempts would end in success he smirked and with no remark was on to the next.

With his first jutsu out of the way Taichi when forward to the next step Mizu Tate no Jutsu. This jutsu was a deffensive type maneuver which protected the user by covering him in a cylindrical shaped barrier. Though the jutsu allowed protection it was still abasic jutsu even for a genin. Taichi had all the needed supplies he could ever ask and the main one was water. With each hand together he formed his chakra into the water and watched it shoot up into the air and surround him. From here he would make up in his head any other moves that could be done, but until them he released the newly learned jutsu.

It was now two down and Taichi was far from fatigue. These were simply little warm ups he would do before diving into the real challenges. Reaching for the scroll he skimmed down the list to refresh his memories of other jutsu he would learn. Mizu Peretto, huh. Just another move to say I know he thought as he prepared himself for the jutsu. This one was somewhat different. Taichi wasn't just pulling from an outside force. He had to mold his chakra and pull enough water for it be become a success. Taking in a big amount of air he performed a hand seal that released the chakra into his mouth. Following that first hand seal he completed the process by adding more hand seal which directed the chakra, molding it around until he came to the last hand seal. Forming it with his hands he then shot out a blast of water from his mouth which signified his completion of the jutsu.

For the longest, Taichi had been stalling his departure with simple things like learning mediocre techniques, but his time was up as two ninja came looking for him. Sir. It's time one of the ANBU ninja stated. With a small nod Taichi picked up his things and was on his way
