Sora shook her head. She hadn't even bothered to think about that option because she knew she didn't have enough skill with the Hiku seal to pull even herself out. She explained, "I'm not skilled enough to exert the power needed." As for the Raikou Henge technique. Well, Sora had indeed thought about it, but it was far too risky. She wasn't a physics major or anything, but she was pretty sure that no matter how they angled themselves at the beginning, the tunnel was most likely to shoot them straight into the air. Not to mention, in addition to not being able to control their movements, they would likely raise hostilities if they caused harm to a citizen in order to stop and the would be in no position to defend should they encounter danger. As a result, Sora smoothly added on to her explanation of her own limitations, "Raikou Henge is too risky and dangerous."
As she spoke, Sora carefully backed away until her back was just a few inches away from the heated glass wall. She then slowly turned, keeping her back close to the edge of the vertical tunnel they were in. the girl thought as she squinted her eyes at what seemed to a small sliver of the ceiling of some underground room above the pit they were in, a room that they had obviously drilled straight through during their descent, Turning to Kensei, Sora pointed up and asked, "Kensei, ne ne, I think there might be a spot you can jump to some way above us. It's pretty high up, but can you try please?"

Kensei looked up after hearing Sora after she pointed out the ceiling. "It's kind of high. I can barely reach it unless I did a jutsu to add on to it." The jutsu he was talking about was the one that saved him from Sora when she was in her demon form. But the only problem with that was he didn't know how far he's be sent flying. Last time a tree blocked his path which saved his life. "Alright. But hop on my back. And Laxus jump when I jump you're going to need to be in the air for this one." Kensei stopped down to let Sora get on his back and began shaking his fingers. If he timed this right either him or Sora would be to grab the piece of ceiling or it would send them out of the pit in general.

"Well, since there's a ceiling, there's bound to be a floor," Sora reasoned as she watched Kensei stoop down and get ready, "Rather than aiming to be level with the ceiling, we just need to aim for the floor below it, so that should shave off a few feet." After thinking that portion out loud, the girl quietly thought about how to react to Kensei's offer. The extra weight might be the deciding factor in whether or not Kensei could reach the height he needed to get onto the floor. However, at the same time, there wasn't any other way for her to get up. the girl roughly summed up the key question, With a nod, Sora agreed, "Okay,"as she hopped onto Kensei's back and held on tightly with her legs to compensate for the lack of grip in her hands; just in case she and Kensei were just shy of the floor, Sora kept her hands and arms loose and ready to grab the ledge. She did consider preparing to jump off herself, but doing that would have just been plain old mean.

→"Alright. I recommend you hang on tight Sora. It's going to be a rough ride." Kensei said while giving Sora a reassuring smile. He looked towards Laxus' direction and focused the chakra in his feet and jumped in the air reaching a 9 feet mark. Alright I hope this works. He leaned his body foward and began doing a series of hand seals. Shortly after he fired a basketball sized fireball towards the ground. The fire ball flew towards the sand and caused a loud bang shorty followed by a powerful force that sent the trio and sand into the air. Kensei absorbed the force of the blast which caused him to close his eyes and block to keep the sand out of his face.
Once the trio reached the top, Kensei took the opportunity to grab Sora by the back of her hood and throw her towards the edge outside of the pit. "That's one down." Kensei looked towards Laxus and made another hand seal to create an ember clone. Kensei stuck his hand out for the clone to grab. The clone grabbed Kensei and spun him around toward and threw him towards Laxus. Kensei tackled Laxus causing the two to roughly land next to Sora.

Description: An extremely useful jutsu, this one has the effect of flushing out or separating multiple opponents. Hurling a fireball about the size of a basketball, it is meant to be dodged in order to be effective. For at center of this fireball is a gaseous core which, when the spherical attack finally makes contact with something, will explode and this gas will expand rapidly in a loud bang. The bang is simply a precursor though, as instantly afterwards a sharp concussive force will issue out all around the center of the blast. Though the explosion of the attack itself is not very strong, the force it sends out is enough to knock anyone who is within a certain radius of it flying.
Katon: Yojin Bunshin no Jutsu (Fire Release: Ember Clone Technique)
Description: A basic bunshin wherein the user will call forth through in corporeal form a clone of themselves, crafted from flame. At this level, the clone is quite weak and can only really serve as a distracted more so than a viable combat replacement. However, it does have its uses, which alongside detonating upon destruction or on command, are numerous.
Note: The clone only has 1/10 the ability of the original user.

With a loud, "Oomph!" Sora crashed into the ground and then (of course) tumbled several times. Being used to falling, she immediately recovered despite the comical landing and took in her surroundings. She was still a ways underground, as the cracked ceiling above her illustrated, However, as her peek over the edge, which she did after Kensei and Laxus came tumbling in themselves, confirmed, she was about twenty feet closer to the surface than before. It wasn't much, but at least it was something, and even that small amount of improvement kept the cheery girl cheery. After receiving that small bit of encouragement, Sora returned to observing the inside of the underground room she, Kensei, and Laxus were currently in.
Sora's thoughts once more wandered off on their own at its new surroundings, . The genin picked herself up and began tentatively exploring through the tunnel and room. Since only Kensei and Laxus were here besides her, Sora didn't feel it was likely to be rude. However, she did keep in mind that traps could be rigged throughout the room, thus the tentative touch. She was curious for two reasons: 1) because that's just how she was and 2) because there might be some secret passage out that she couldn't see at first glance that would lead to a way out.
After having gone through the room and tunnel once, though, Sora deemed both businesses finished. She had already checked as thoroughly as she could without being too reckless. No reason to repeat it again. There hadn't been an extra passageway. As for the room itself, well there was nothing she could use to get out of the pit.
Still not giving up, Sora returned to the edge of the pit and looked out once more. This time, she focused on looking up. She had already done this before, but it had only been a glance. Now, she looked more closely. Just as she had done upon her first glance, Sora couldn't help but feel the distance between this underground room and the surface was far too much even for Kensei. They had, after all, just barely reached this level, which was about two stories above the bottom of the pit. The surface was about just as far if not more. The problem, however, wasn't the height. Rather, it was the lack of any good footing. Without so much as an inch of the floor going past the ceiling, Kensei wouldn't have a good place to jump from as he did in the pit.

→Kensei sat up shortly after hitting the ground and looked around to see if everyone was okay. He noticed Sora coming back from a tunnel. "You find anything in there?" He asked the girl while sitting on the edge and looking down at the bottom of the pit and shortly upwards. Kensei kept looking at the glass. "I could just break the glass since we're this high and have this place fill up with sand." It was the only thing Kensei could think of at the moment.

Kensei reached for his pouch and began looking through his equipment. "Well I do have these explosive tags. Maybe throw them across us and bam! This pit will be full in a matter of minutes." He began looking for a good place to throw the tags and the only logical place was to throw it a few feet above them. Kensei pointed upwards to show Sora. "There should be good. And it'll be enough so we won't get completely buried under the sand. One should be good enough to break that glass."
Kensei pulled out a kunai and explosives tag and tied them together. "Alright here goes nothing." Kensei focused his chakra into tag and quickly threw the kunai upwards making it stick into the glass. He then moved back and waited a few seconds before the tag exploded making a 15 feet fireball. A loud cracking sound could be heard, which couldn't be seen because of the smoke. But after a while the smoke cleared and a huge crack could be seen in the glass. The crack continued to grow until it eventually broke and sand came pouring in. Kensei jumped for joy as if he just found a cave full of gold. "Yes finally luck is on our side. Now we just have to be ready to move." He said walking back into the tunnel to stretch.

Unfortunately for Kensei, his plan seemingly came to naught as after a bit of sand came in, the flow stopped. While sand was generally very loose and may have filled the pit given the proper circumstances, the sand below Sunagakure was packed quite tightly, a requirement in order to hold up the many buildings in the village. Thus, despite the hole in the glass holding up the walls, all that came out was the sand directly effected by the explosive. Furthermore, the fireball melted down the sand around it's impact point, making even more glass to seal it's own damage.
Edit: By the way, the pit is plenty wide enough for a bird that only holds two people on it's back to fly circles in. The tower wasn't exactly small after all. I'd say... About 100x100 feet for the pit.

Yamatano had been searching among the wreckage when he came across a massive pit, and below it, the kumo shinobi. Not even pausing to ask how they were alive or how this hole got here, yamatano called down to them. "Can you get out?" As he asked it, he realized how stupid his question was, but Yamatano didn't want to play the hero if they could help themselves. Besides, yamatano could only think of one way to get them out, and he didn't want to reveal it if he could help it.

"I could summon the bird but I don't think I'd be able to control it. So it'll probably be safer to just sit here.....and wait for help." Kensei slumped down on the floor almost as if he had given up. The heat was getting to him and those few stunts he pulled only made it hotter. It was at that moment he heard a friendly voice ask a stupid question. "You know...that was probably the dumbest question I've ever heard.....ever." Kensei shouted out back to Yamatano.

Sora hated to admit it, but Kensei was right. Stumped, the girl crossed her legs and fell down into a sitting position. Her arms, likewise, were crossed as she quietly thought with her head bobbing up and down slightly. Not having gone through the physical exertion Kensei had gone through, Sora was still relatively fit. Although, the heat was getting to her.
Upon hearing a familiar-ish voice, the blonde looked out of the passageway and then up. There, on the other side of the pit that the passage extended from, was Yamatano. With a excited, "Yippee!" Sora hopped to her feet (and managed to stay on her feet) and waved at the white-haired Hatake. After Kensei spoke his part, the girl added in, "Basically, no, we're sort of stuck here. Kensei probably won't be able to make it out while carrying us two genins and the walls are too smooth and hot to climb. Could you please please lend us a hand? Pretty please with a cherry on top?".

A vein of frustration throbbed in yamatano's forehead at kensei's reply. Were these really the people.he was going to save? Yamatano considered walking away.........but decided against it, unable to pass up someone in need, as well as the possibility of garnering a favor. "Stand back" Yamatano yelled down to the trapped shinobi.
Inconspicuously, yamatano partially extended one of the hidden blades, stabbi.g his thumb lightly. As a bead of blood welled on his skin, yamatano wiped it on his shoulder, over the tattoo bearing the kanji for "snake", and flew through his handseals. Upon completion, he slammed his hand on the ground, the ancient seals spiderwebbing across the glass that was once sand as he cried "kuchiyose no jutsu!"
The screams renewed once more as the smoke cleared to show yamatano now standing on the head of a twenty foot coiled snake, its forked tounge flicking in and out, an open expression of its contempt for the slippery glass combined with the hot climate. "Into the hole", yamatano commanded, the snake giving only a small hiss of recognition as it descended, yamatano stuck to it's head with the chakra in his feet. At the bottom of the pit, yamatano minced no words with the wide-eyed shinobi, saying "Can you all wall-walk?" Yamatano figured that wall walking would be too strenuous for the genin to perform if they tried to walk all the way out of the hole, but they would need to be able to hold onto the kyodaija if they wanted to escape the pit.

→Kensei head his head low when Yamatano came into the hole. "Yeah but would that really help in this situation? And what the hell is that his-" Kensei looked up shortly to see what the noise was only to be introduced to the thing he feared next to spiders. Snakes. And not just any snake a giant one. Kensei didn't know how to react, He was hoping he was hallucinating because of the heat. His eyes widened and he began hyperventilating rapidly before he what appeared to be drooling through his teeth before passing out.
He never really told anybody about his phobias and mostly for a good reason. Mainly because he didn't want it to be used against him like when he was climbing the mountain in Kumogakure. But after today it seems as if everybody in this hole knew his secret. Hopefully him and Yamatano never become enemies in the future or else Kensei would have the worst battles of his life.
