Rukia laughed back a little. "That might be a problem," she said with a soft smile. She went over to the bed, but decided it'd be a better idea to change before she went to bed... She slipped into the bathroom for a minute, then came out and shoved the suitcase underneath the bed, school uniform on top. She sat cross-legged on the edge of the bed in an oversized shirt and some shorts, watching Gizmo.

 When Rukia went into the bathroom, Gizmo stayed sat at the desk, he was writting something with a feather and some ink on a paper. When he finished writting the paper burned in a black flame. After this he realized Rukia was watching him. "Uhm... do you need something?" He gently asked.

"N-nope sorry,...just...flaming paper..." she said in a small voice that trailed off at the end. She layed back and closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep now........

"Finally" He thought. He turned off the light in the room and only turned on a light on the desktop. Out of nowhere, he pulled out a Beretta. "It's been a while since I cleaned you" he said very softly, almost as a whisper.

Rukia tensed a little when the lights flicked off suddenly, especially since she heard Gizmo whisper something to himself quietly in an odd, slightly demented tone.

Gizmo knew she was still awake, so he lurked in the dark... got on bed without Rukia noticing. "Sleep... now" he whispered to her ear.

A shiver went down her spine when she felt his breath in her ear. The dark, of course. He is part demon... she thought, silently fingering the small pocketknife she kept stuck in her waistband...

He gets off the bed laughing "Relax Arisawa! Its not like I'll try to kill you while you're sleeping" He said as he turned on the light, he sat on the other bed and watched her carefully. "You're safe here" He said smiling.

Rukia sat up and looked at him, "What, so you'll try and kill me when I'm awake then?""And.." she added, staring up at the ceiling. "I don't think it's possible for Fuyu Academy to be genuinely safe...It's full of powerful people with dark pasts.... A petty argument could blow up half the campus..." She was thinking about tommorrow, she'd only ever seen a couple of other "unusual" people, and this place was full of them.... I'm just..nervous..or something... she frowned on herself. There's a first for everything, so suck it up, you wimp.

"Yeah you've got a point... but... there are powerful teachers too" He said looking away. The campus was so quiet at that moment, the only sound that broke the silence was the wind blowing through a window.

".....Have you met any of them?" she asked. Her gaze flicked to his face, then back to the ceiling. The way he had mentioned teachers made her wonder. He did look a few years older than her.

"Just a couple of them" He said. "The rest of them seem to be very busy or something, but they are around the place, so... dont worry" He said with a firm voice.

Rukia nodded, he was trying to convince her. She definitely believed the part about them being busy, the only evidence of them she had seen earlier today were offices full of books and paperwork, and a few hurried "Be back in-" notes. A minute or so passed, she wasn't sure what to say... Maybe she should be trying to get to know him better..?

Although just a while ago she seemed very tired now she seemed very active , her eyes reflected her curiosity... from time to time she watched the marks on his body, it didn't bothered Gizmo, actually it was funny. Again there was silence in the room, "Your scent is similar to the humans, " he said breaking the silence.

Rukia was more interested than she had been in a while, and all traces of her previous exhaustion had left her. "Pretty human, I think." she said quietly, stretching out her left hand and looking at it blandly . She really didn't know, actually, always assuming she was. "human family, at least." He'd probably laugh, but she didn't care. All the same, was he implying she wasn't human...?
