I love the underground/subway! =D
But, then, there aren't any in my part of the country, so ride on them is sort of a treat.
I got the opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. a few times as a kid, and riding the subway there was one of the best parts.
My little brother and I were subway pros! (Or as much as kids can be that.)
And riding the trains in Japan was just awesome.
They're so convenient!
I don't mind enclosed spaces, though.
And as a Minnesotan, we generally avoid eye contact with strangers anyway. xD
I definitely agree--that guy was super creepy. =P
He was probably doing it just to bother you, too.

I would definitely report him.
Ugh, I just found out I have to figure out how to pay for my summer course sans financial aid 'cause I'm only taking one.
I think I can swing it, but I'm not especially excited about it, since the course cost is about a third of what I made (on my exceptionally part-time schedule) last year.
Bleh.
Taking it would make my fall so much easier, though.
I'm excited for boat lists!
Getting an N post would be interesting, but I think it's up to you, Bamf.
If you want to, go for it?
We could really just as easily read the lists here and start up our interactions on the separate boats.

I don't mind enclosed spaces that much (I'm fine in caves!), it's more the crush of bodies and heat that gets to me. Travelling in London always exhausts me. xD Plus, it always rains when I go up.

Not really, but it would make job searching considerably less stressful.
So I might be able to get a job earlier than if I took a full course load in the fall.
I don't think it would make any difference with my income for this year, though.
I will admit that I always tried to avoid rush hour on the trains. xD
Never try to get anywhere in Tokyo on a train during rush hour.
Those photos you see of conductors trying to get the doors to shut with a jam-packed train? Totally true.
Kyoto isn't nearly so bad. <3
You might be a little squished, but mostly you just won't get a seat.

London underground on early morning rush hour makes me want to die.

I'm meant to be going out for a friend's birthday tonight and so many people are backing out and I feel bed for not wanting to go now.
Just I don't want to be a third wheel with my best friend and her boyfriend again tonight. AGAIN.

Rush hour is such a foreign concept to me out here in the middle of nowhere.
We get brief periods of what could really only be considered "busy" out here.
I always try to avoid the major commute times when I visit my friends in the cities.
That's understandable.
It's a birthday celebration, so maybe you're sort of obligated tonight, but otherwise . . .
Have you mentioned it to her?
They might not realize they're ignoring you so much.
Ugh, my internet just turned into a tortoise. =P
Guess I'll work on housework instead of homework for a while.
Or maybe I'll try to work on my friend's birthday present.
I'm making her a River Song's diary-style sketchbook.

Well, they don't ignore me but I'm so conscious of the fact they're a couple and I'm just the hanger-on. Plus my ex is going with his fiancée and she hates me which will just put me in a bad mood too.
I'm sure he won't mind too much if I suggest going out or something at some other point.
I hope.

I'm going to see if I can find anything on our college intraweb about our Project... see if I CAN just paint landscapes in Illustration (someone did huge paintings last year, which is more fine art... He had awesome skills.) Because NONE of this is going right, and I'm well-aware I'm jumping all over the place, but eh, I know I can paint, so...

I need an exacto knife or something for this project. =P
Scissors are not good for precision work with cardboard.
Hopefully this won't turn out to be a complete mess. xD
No silly animals in the landscapes? ;_;
But if they're not working out . . .

Told best friend's boyf that I wasn't going out. He seemed annoyed but alright about it. He knows I was in a pretty odd mood on Monday and I'm really not going to be good company.

No, I don't think so. I'm going to read the brief/instructions, and see what it permits. It's just that word "innovative" that's bugging me. Landscapes don't really seem innovative, but sometimes I think I'm more of a painting-skills person than a NEW AND ZANY person. The creatures might loiter/I'm going to finish lining the ones I've sketched (and that's about three pages.)
I hate being a third wheel, Zo. >;
And some time I will remember that I need to finish my HTML in guilds.

I ended up using my pocket knife.
I'll just have to remember to sharpen it when I'm done.
Working with cardboard wears down blades, in my experience.
=O Guilds are apparently full of strange and exciting things.
I'm still confused as to why they're not just extensions of the regular forum coding.
You'd think that'd be easier to maintain . . .
And I check my notifications about as often as I'd remember to check this page. xD
I've got it in my quick links now, so it should be all good.
We should definitely quote for important stuff, though.
Maybe they should be landscapes in strange colors . . . ? D=
Or changed to look like alien planets?
I have no idea.

<3 I think I'm going with, "LOOK I CAN PAINT LIKE AN ANGEL!" (Well, obviously I can't, but it's the medium I'm most happy in.) I'm going to be altering colours and such, limiting the palette, to make things more interesting, and trying different painting techniques... it's a lot more prescriptive (perhaps not - it's more stripped-back), but easier to get my head around. c:
A woman at my last interview said my painting was the most exciting thing in my portfolio, so... it seems to be worth a shot.
