Atiya watched the elk’s last few minutes as Toxic finally brought it down. She tilted her head to the side in amusement. Whether it was the fact that toxic had pulled off killing the creature or the vixen’s whole attitude on the matter she wouldn’t tell. The elk wasn’t big enough to have a problem of having too much left over and as such Atiya did need to eat a lot of meat, best to eat now instead of when hunger became an issue. “Hmmm I suppose it would have been easier but I told you about the baby thing. I guess you could counter with the statement well everyone was once a baby, but then I could counter back with the statement of well this elk got to live out more of its life. Besides it takes nearly nothing to bring down a baby elk. It takes real effort to bring down a fully grown female while flying and while the rest of the herd is nearby.” Atiya stated in a near cheerful tone. She made note of the slight shaking the other vixen was giving off and wondered if the fight had taken more out of toxic than she wanted to show. Hmm it would probably go away soon.

"s**t." She didn't feel so good, and it hit her hard. The vixen moved closer to the elk, glaring at Atiya. Her cheeks were flushed, forehead hot, and she was breathing heavily. The vixen glanced at the elk, her legs shaking under her. She couldn't stand much longer, but, she didn't want to show weakness in front of the 'Deava. Though, it couldn't be helped, because in seconds her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she fell downwards into a loose ball, panting heavily in her sleep.
Little did she know, she was indeed ill.

Atiya raised an eyebrow at the cussing and watched as the Vixen grew sicker and sicker. ‘Oh she wasn’t going to pass out is she?’ Atiya thought. Sure enough seconds later Toxic ended up passing out. “ Oya, what trouble you are little vixen” Atiya stated. It was better to understand the nature of ones body. “If you where sick you should take care of yourself and not go out and challenge Daevas.” With a slight poke of her wing to see that Toxic was in fact still passed out.
“Should I leave you here for the wolves after being so prideful?” Atiya asked tilting her head to the side. “Then again you should get a reward for being entertaining if nothing else. Even though this is a check against you” Atiya continued. “Ah well it’s a perfect time to try those new Shaman skills I picked up from my last unsuspecting target. So a bit haphazardly she managed to get Toxic on to her back and began walking towards her nearest cave with a little hum under her breath.
( I was thinking Toxic was in and out of it for a week or some other ridiculous amount of time so that Atiya had to put effort into it)

(Time skippppp)
It had been five days, and yet Toxic hadn't healed. If anything she seemed to be getting worse. Her cheeks were burning, her breath was raspy, and she was sweating heavily. She had woken several times during the days, only seeing a haze that consisted of what seemed to be some pink object, water being shoved down her throat, and as well as something bitter. She'd pass out shortly after, sometimes managing to croak out a low curse. She didn't know how long it had been, nor did she know Atiya was caring for her. Hell, sometimes she didn't even know her name.
Luckily, she would only have about another five more days of this, and even now she was slowly managing to stay awake longer. Yes, she felt worse, but she could at least register where she was at times, and even register a female voice at times.
In fact, her eyes fluttered open, blearily looking about, letting out a raspy breath as she rolled onto her side. She felt so hot! The vixen pawed weakly at the ground, trying to claw at it to take her frustration out, instead her nails gripped grass for a second.
"Dam....mit."

So her plan to play Shaman was working out just smooth, after all the patient was still alive, if you could call it that. However Atiya decided if the vixen dared even try to die after all the freaking time Atiya had spent taking care of her Atiya was probably going to murder a small village or something like that. If she had none that she was going to have to put this much work into taking care of someone in the first place Atiya probably would have left toxic to the wolves. Now too much time was invested and short of Toxic dying and Atiya going to some hack voodoo priest to revive her Atiya wasn’t going to quit, no way in deed. She had gone from the cave again to get more medicine and wet cloth and had vented her frustration on another bear that thought it could take on a pissed female daeva in order to get its cave and was in the process of eventually coming back. “Oh look your up. You feel conscious enough to drink some water?” Atiya stated walking over and getting the now dry cloth that had fallen off. It was an idea she had gotten from watching humans whenever they got sick. Moving it to the side she motioned for toxic to get back in a lying position and lightly slapped the wet cloth on Toxic’s forehead. She would probably get some medicine down the vixen in a second or two.

She swerved around dizzily when she heard Atiya, nearly falling over. The vixen took a minute to register what the 'Deava had said, glancing over at the motion and the dry cloth. Had Atiya been caring for her? She wanted to slap the vixen away, not enjoying the help in the least bit. What was Atiya trying for? Why was she helping Toxic? Didn't she hate Toxic, as Toxic disliked her?
The vixen stared blearily, stumbling back over to the 'Deava and moving to lay down as instructed. It didn't matter who hated who, Toxic needed help, even if it was by a scandalous vixen. With eyes half-lidded she nodded, licking her lips.
"I can...drink..."

Ugh and now the stupid vixen was trying to walk around, didn’t you know when you where sick you stayed asleep and in bed for as long as you could get away with. Well it was a good thing she had slipped the medicine into the water, it would be killing two birds with one stone. Of course the staring thing had to go. There where plenty of daeva’s that would take care of sick people, alright she only knew of three but that was hardly beside the point. Atiya had a good reason, now…
“good, I’ll go get you a bowl or something to drink out of” Atiya stated and went back to rummaging around. “Hmmm after this is all done I should go join up with seraph again” she said mostly to herself. She was feeling up to tolerating her similar minded companion for the moment. “up here’s a bowl, he’s water, and … here is medicine.” She stated pushing the bowl over to with in reach of Toxic.

She had heard the vixen mumbling while looking for the bowl, closing her eyes blearily as she heard it being pushed to her. The vixen crawled over to the water, tail keeping the rag in place, and lapped it up quietly, scowling slightly when she touched the medicine. Gross. The 'Deava wanted to go somewhere else? Fine. She just wanted to sleep again.
"Go see your friend, I don't care." She hissed. Did she? She opened an eye to glance at Atiya, frowning. Yes, a little. Maybe she had enjoyed waking up seeing someone there. No, her? Hell no.
"I don't....need your damn help..." She struggled with this, suddenly flopping down onto her side and letting out a pained breath. She hadn't had many to care for her. Her brothers didn't really like her, and her mother? Toxic hated her. She was always so understanding when Odi did something like wander off or have a "blood lust" attack. How could she just sit there and let him do these things? She hated the weak, and she hated her mother. So she had grown up taking care of herself.

Atiya watched as she started drinking the water and held back a deep chuckle. Oh the poor little vixen didn’t like the medicine, well tough she needed it to get better and the more displeasure that came out of it was fine with Atiya. Then the vixen decided that she just had to open her mouth again. Perhaps it wasn’t so bad when she was unconscious. Oh was this one snappy. Well its not like it bothered Atiya at all. She was doing what she wanted to do and that was it. One sick and weak vixen wasn’t going to influence her in the least. So she would go and bother seraph in her own good time when she well wanted, and right now it was after she fixed the normal in front of her. You should never just assume things while sick.
“Oh really I can see that, you didn’t need my help when you collapsed in the middle of an elk herd or when you where extremely sick and no where near a shaman. Uhuh I can see that” Atiya taunted. “well if you want to go sooo bad…” Atiya stated turning to leave the cave. She was actually going out to get more herbs but it was just a small little bit of information that didn’t need to be shared. The faster this vixen realized she wasn’t all that or didn’t need to be all that the better. Hmm what plants to get. Well the last batch of medicine had done a good job so she would make up another dose. With a flick of her tail she began walking towards the mouth of the little enclosure.

When Atiya spoke Toxic made a "tch" sound, back turned to the 'Deava. Like she cared what the hell she did. She didn't need her. Hell, she rather die than be taken cared of by some annoying red vixen with over sized bat wings. Her tail yearned to lash out and flip the water bowl over, or even throw it at Atiya. Why?! Why did she feel gratitude?! Why did Toxic actually grown annoyed when she heard the vixen say she'd leave? Maybe because she was sick. Yeah, that was it.
She didn't want to be alone. She was always alone, always. Her brothers had bonded quickly, leaving her alone. Toxic didn't have the kit Naru as a friend anymore, she was alone. And sick. She didn't want to be alone right now.....
"Don't go." She had flipped over, weakly pawing at Atiya and managing to brush her paw against the arm. For once she didn't look harsh, instead she looked weak and helpless, like a kit. She would kill anyone to mention this in the future. The vixen's eyes slowly closed, suddenly going limp, once more asleep.

Atiya stopped and looked back at toxic. The gaze in her eyes looked pretty neutral as she looked back at the vixen she had been taking care of. The ruby colored daeva let out a long blink before tilting her head to the side. Atiya wasn’t one to be moved by weak displays of pleading or begging of any kind. She did what she wanted whenever she wanted. However for reasons known only to her she let out a deep and long sigh as she looked at the once again unconscious victim in front of her.
Atiya didn’t get close to any one really. As a daeva in a fight friends and loved ones could be used against you. Everything seemed to fall apart and get taken away and you could truly never have friends against your own kind. If you where the normal stereotypical daeva. She was manipulative when she wanted to be, she was cruel and snappy when she wanted to be and at times she was nice and caring of course when she wanted to be.
“Fine little poison I wont” she stated and sat down next to the vixen, she could leave a little later to get the herbs needed for the medicine. After all she had been running on very little sleep. Best to take a short nap as well and then get up and do the things needed. One, Atiya decided, should never wish for a way to stave of boredom. It landed you in such weird places, but then maybe that was half the fun.

Toxic had been sick for days after, and now she was slowly recovering. Though not yet ready to claim herself not sick, though she was probably going to keep defying Atiya every time she told the vixen she was indeed sick. In the back of her mind Toxic wondered if Atiya herself was going to get sick from her as well, and was it so bad that Toxic hoped she would? She was seriously annoyed that she had slipped up and.... and pawed at the 'Deava. Pawed. She no longer had any pride.
"You can stop hovering over me." She grumbled during one of her rare awakenings, sitting up and pawing at the medicine Atiya had given her. "Or at least make this muck taste good."

“And where would be the fun in that… it makes you uncomfortable” Atiya taunted although most of the fire was out of the comment as her attention was somewhere else at the moment. Atiya brushed her hair out of her face again and went through the notes in her head. She didn’t think she was going to try this again any time soon. Atiya wondered if the vixen was staying sick on purpose but well no one truly wanted to suffer through a cold.
“mmm sorry, the better tasting medicine didn’t work fast enough.” She stated, although at the moment she was wondering if she added cinnamon and honey, would it lessen the effects. “You’re just going to have to suffer.”

She rolled her eyes, releasing a brief laugh. She poked her medicine, sighing in agitation. "You'd be a good shaman." She absently said, looking at Atiya with raised eyebrows. "Why aren't you in a tribe as one?" She asked, one of her first attempts to be civil. She lapped up a small amount of medicine, hissing and stopping to lap up water. Ew. Nasty. She wouldn't be a popular shaman, that was for sure.
"I'm sure a tribe would accept you for your talents. Though the kids would hate it." She laughed, remembering when her mother had once made her eat something foul for a cold.

Well at least toxic was being more civil after all. It made dealing with foxes so much more enjoyable. “Hmmm I suppose so. This is actually my first time. Out of boredom I tricked another fox into teaching me. Healing, while annoying most of the time does have its uses. As for why I am not in a tribe. Pfft why bother, as of yet there isn’t one I would say calls out to me as some thing I could identify with” she wasn’t the type to blindly go around and listen to a tribe elder or fit into normal tribe society. Neither was she the type to lead. She was already a modidaevea and wouldn’t ascend or anything like a normal fox would.
“hmm well I guess there is a thanks for the appraisal of my skills if nothing else” Atiya pointed out. “I suppose you aren’t bad company either if I really had to think about it. However medicine isn’t supposed to taste good thus why its only taken when there is something wrong. ‘She pointed out.
