Delphinidae sat on the couch and flipped through the channels as each program bored her. The day had been full for her as she started out swimming then moved onto writing in her journal about the past weeks events. Never able to fill a whole page with just the day's events she preferred to do weekly updates. After writing and lunch she'd weeded the gardens for a while then worked on some at home learning books her father had bought her. The rest of the day had been mostly dinner and singing to Kishi before retiring to the couch
"Del it's time for bed ", she turned her head to see her father standing in the doorway to the living room.

Del knelt beside her bed head bowed but eyes sort of open to read the written prayer on the paper on the floor
'Oh great spirits that protect us" She began "Protect all those within this household and those we love. Let no harm come to the innocent and swift but merciful justice to the wrong. Please let tomorrow be filled with as much happiness as today. Be it within you powers to grant let all our prayers is answered? she finished and climbed into bed. She set her Sailor Moon alarm clock and wrapped an arm around an anonymous plushies before drifting off to sleep.

Dear diary:
The greatest thing ever happened yesterday. My little sister Kishi who was a ghost thing became real and she's so cute. She has slightly pointed ears and black bat like wings. She's also got black hair and grey eyes like me and she's so sweet. Although she is a bit loud and father says we have to deal because she used to be just as loud before but only he could hear it. She quiets down when I sing to her though.
Oh and the other day in swimming class I learned to how to make clicking pictures that father calls echolocations, he says it's something all dolphins do and that even though some animals can do it all the time for me it only works in the water. He was right because I tried earlier and couldn't get it to work but when I tried in the fountain it did work.
That?s all I have to say for right now

Dear diary:
This is just a short note to let you know about my Easter. It was very nice becuase I got to have two easter hunts. one was at the labs where I found money ( which dad is making me save) and a plushie of a dragon. It was really fun looking all over the grounds again an I hope we get to have a hunt fir the next big holiday as well, I think that even without echolocation I'm good at finding things.
My second hunt was at home, there were peopel of all sorts everywhere. Mom set up the gardens to have eggs hidden all over the place and it was really neat. allthe guardians of the ghostsof the past were there and so there were babies and wisps and baby ghosts everyhwere. My sister kishi who's a real baby now needed help though and since dad was helping my other little sister I carred Kishi around and we got some eggs togeather which had money in them too. Oh and mom was really really nice and give me this charm even though she made otheer charms only for ghosts of the past babies
I really love my family and I'm glad it was decided that I live with them..

A breif sisterly moment.
"Number one, number one;Now my song has just begun:

Malen tried not to wince as he walked passed Kishi's room carrying some garbage. Del had been singing the same song over and over again for an hour occasionally taking a ten or twenty minute break. Kishi was apparently facsinated by her sisters ability to sing and had requested encore after encore. He had to admit that anything was better than the song that never ends or something from one of the anime's both girls still watched. Listening closely he could hear the contended purring of Kit who was probably being spoilt by both girls. Shaking his head he continued on and made a note to grab his headphones out of the car while he was outside.

My sister Coailiann grew the other day now she's about my age. she plays the harp now and is much nicer than she used to be, I hope she stays this way.

Closing the diary Del placed the small book under her pillow. not that she though anyone would read it or that that was a particularly good hiding. She simply knew she could always find it if she placed it there. Sliding off her bed she headed for her bedroom door. She was going to swim in the fountain and work on her echolocation skills.

Dear Diary:
The other day I went to the labs to find out about the dragon I get to have someday. It's a bronze dragon that needs to think the tide is washing over it. They can't really keep it in the ocean but they have a special tank for it. It was a really neat day and I can't wait till my dragon hatches I dont even care if it's a boy or a girl.

Dear Diary:
Kishi grew, dad says some sort of smoke from her wand sucked her in and then when it went away she was a toddler. She can walk by herself now even if not to steady and she talks better now. As soon as she's used to being like this dad says I get to teach her how to swim, it's going to be a lot of fun.

Putting her diary away Del hopped off her bed and scurried into the kitchen, it was Father's day and she planned to make her father breakfest in bed.

" No" Kishi crossed her arms and stomped a tiny foot against the ground. No no no".
Del sighed and mock glared at her sister " Kishi you have to wear the swimtrainer it's not safe otherwise and father said you're not allowed in the foutain without it. While the dolphin girl had never used such things herself she's been born to swim and so it wasn't a problem. Swimming however did not come naturally to succubi and so precautions had to be taken. It wasn't like the swim trainer was as bulky as an old fashioned life jacket either, Kishi was just being stubborn.
Kishi frowned but relented allowing Del to outfit her in the flotation device. Her wings were tucked to her back to prevent drag. They were stronger than they had been but could still be injured by strong resistance so it was easier to teach her to swim without them at the moment. After a moment Del stapped back and winked at Kishi " You look cute."
Hopping over the wall Del landed in the fountain relishing the feel of the cool water on her dehydreated skin. Leaning over she picked up Kishi and plopped her down beside her. Immediatly Kishi's grey eyes wideded " Noo cold cold cold no' he yelled thrashing. Del stepped away from here watching as the water around her sister churned and frothed. It wasn't that cold and in minute or so Kishi would adjust to it and be fine.
Just a she predicted a minute later Kishi bobbed serenely in the water staring at sme lilypads."See it's not so bad is it" Del murmured smiling " Today we're just going to tread water and use your rms to part the water infront of you and sweep it to the side." Del had a series of lesson plans for Kishi, starting with this then dogpaddling as easy introductions to swimming styles. From there she'd move onto the the different strokes and then underwater swimming If kishi was ready, though she doubted the toddler would be able to handle that untill she grew again.
Dear diay: I gave Kishi her first lessons today it was great. She was hesitant at first but caught the hang of it pretty fast. She seems to like swimming but she wasn't all that upset when the lesson was over. I think I did a pretty good job as a teacher for my first day. My eyes were always on her and I never yelled once. It was nice swimming with someone else, maybe I should see of Kay will swim with me sometime

Once again Del was back to filling out surveys, she loved doing it and she was sure it would help her become a better stronger person if she could look back later and point out all the good and bad things about herself. That and she still had an hour to waste before her first training lesson with her father.
The house is on fire, what things do you try to save in what order?
Del nibbled on the end of her pen for a moement before scribbling down an awnser, this question was fairly easy.
I save my family then our pets and then if it's safe I try to save important things that can't be replaced.
A comet will destroy the planet in 1 week, how do you spend your last days?
Del frowned at this one, it was much harder and required makin g hard decsions .
I leave home and try and go help everyoen else who tried to stop the comet. I'd do everything I could to keep everyone from dying.
If you could switch bodies and lives with anyone who would it be and why?
I'd be a superhero so I could have adventures and save people and feel really good inside

I don't know any celebrities.

School starts soon and I'm going to get to go this time. I will still learn things at home but apparently I need to spend time with more kids my age and learn things that can't be taught at home. I really hope school isnt boring.
