Zinkenite watched for a moment, silent as the grave, he drank in all that he saw and swallowed it down. He would not forget... he could never allow himself to forget.

He watched Lyra's face, the fear and the uncertantly, the little smiles that so clearly marked her as 'his' half sibling, something sweet and untouchable that was forever tarnished by the Senshi, she might have been revealed as something strange but he could not simply cut away a lifetime.

Not on his own...

He wished, almost wished he could have cut it out of his own life, wouldn't things have been so much easier then if he never knew her, didn't remember all the little bittersweet moments. The laughter and the tears that would be washed away into the gutters of the dark Kingdom, but only for her.

He watched Scheelite embrace Tanzinite, the motherly grace she had stopped short there, the dangerous smiles and enclosing gaze stopped at that point. How strange that it put him at ease... how strange to realize that there was a profound familiarity and danger there beneath the regorged exterior.

Constants, he was sure that all people must crave them, even if they didn't rise up as something to be known and acknowledged on a day to day basis. People had expectations, and so many of his were shaken. Now he was shaking them harder, he wasn't waiting for that pillar that was Beth to colapse under its own fractured weight...he was Samson, pulling down the temple walls on his own head for all the 'world' to see, and it didn't matter quite so much in that moment because at least one thing here had met...his expectations.

His quest... his request... a means to an end he had reached out a hand towards the razor wire that was Tanzinite, and she had responded, cutting him as deep as she cut into the very thing he asked for... and he expected it.

"Thank you..." He said bowing his head, even as he reached to join her, his hand curling around that bright Ember that utterly defined Lyra, that contained Beth and everything she had been, and could never be again.

Pain brought clarity... pain brought wisdom...

He needed desperately to be wise.

She should have known this was how it would be done, this was what she had to do. Negaversers were corrupted by applying dark energy in to the very life source of the body, the star seed. So.. Why not have it be the same for a senshi corruption?

But damn, did it still not hurt.

This was the second time in her existence she felt the pain of someones hands deep within her chest, something up until she point... she did everything in her power to avoid. It was personal, it was violating... the General queen was touching her very essence, her soul in a way. It felt wrong, every fiber of her being was telling her to run... her survival instincts screaming at her, still she stayed in place somehow. Bitting down hard on her lip Lyra stopped herself from crying out from the pain of it.

The second hand joined as a gasp of more pain hit her, two hands... a general and a general queen. Her good eye stared at them both for a moment, pupils dilating from the pain. Raw power, all pain. Clamping down harder on her lip she had the taste of iron, a sure sign that her lip was now bleeding... but that was nothing to what she felt within her chest. It was too late to turn back, too late to say no. While you can say all you want to say, when it finally came down to it? She was not at all prepared for this. Talking the walk, but actually walking the walk, were very different.

When Tanzanite started to pour the dark energy out... Sailor Lyra could not help it, her teeth unhinged from her lip and she screamed. She screamed holy hell and its chorus for good measure. Pain, powerful, building from within her chest and moving slowly through each nerve ending as they fired. The dark energy was consuming the senshis startseed, changing her. If she wanted to back out now, it was impossible. Like gates being opened, memories poured through her mind at speeds she once thought impossible. One by one, they showed... and they all faded eventually into black.

Her mothers smile... A birthday party when she was a child... receiving a gift in the mail.... first meeting her siamese that night... her first encounter with the negaverse.... tanzanites brutal attack, finally ending with the look of dioptase as she died before her very feet, nothing she could do... no way to help. The list went on and on until they all faded to darkness. Soon it was not memories she was left with, only faces. One by one, they followed suite into her darkness. Astraea...Nerissa... Pegasus... Scheelite Zinkenite Flora Nemesis Ares Tanzanite Castor Hephaistos, and many many more. Finally it ended with one last flash of a face, one of a child Zac, a fesh new hair piece holding his hair out of his face. She always told him he needed to smile more...see the world with both eyes not just one.

Each of them, one by one, blanked out in her mind. Like a shroud of darkness that came over the teenager, the world... her whole existence seemed to go black.

The deed finished, the corruption over and done with, she felt her vision falter, blur, the room mixed into a mass of color. The red haired womans outfit flashed.. purple black replaced white, her hair once short now almost certainly would reach and drag on the floor while she walked.

There was one last word in her mind before she blacked out, something said only in her head, it did not make it to her lips. Something that she hoped would reach anyone whom was a influence on her life.

Goodbye...

The power thrummed against him, it wanted released, it was enormous... greater he was sure than the power that had made him a General, that had been turning on a tap he felt... this was a flood Gate.

He had to fight to keep it from rushing into him, surely... he would have died had he let it. He would simply have been consumed, washed away like her memories, like the very things that defined her by this tremendous power that their new General Queen Served as a conduit for.

He caught her as she swooned, the dark folds of fabric now nearly blended with his own, bright blue and dark indigo shaded black. Her hair swept so long, like a great waterfall now, as though the darkness that had stripped her bare had brought new life.

New beginnings to his misguided sister... only she would need a new name, a new life. New beginnings for them all... his own chest ached as though it had been his own star seed so freshly abused, he should have been proud, but he felt... just a little empty inside.

"If you weren't my sister..." He started, and there was something between pain and regret in his voice.

Tanzanite had assisted in the corruption of a senshi, but never before had she been able to channel that power on her own. It was an incredible sensation, to be able to draw on enough of that dark energy to change a life. To obliterate memories and convert someone from a cause they had been born into. For Tanzanite, it was a fight. It was a struggle to guide the power and hold it back, like trying to force a waterfall to flow only as she desired. It was a fight to keep it from rushing into the General who assisted her, for the power of the Negaverse was not a gentle power. It was not like senshi magic, which flowed from them and worked in harmony with their will. The power of the Negaverse was wild and chaotic, and to wield it was like trying to force fire to do what you ******** told it to do.

“If she weren't your sister, she would be dead,” Tanzanite spoke softly as she stepped away, allowing the General to lower his sister's unconscious body to the floor, “Her life was spared only because you requested it.”

There was an expression upon the General Queen's inhuman face that was almost pitying as she looked upon the prone girl. Her life had not simply been erased, it had been obliterated. Ares would see her as the ultimate form of traitor, and the other members of the Blood Moon Court would not be far behind. Perhaps, merciful as she had been with even Tanzanite, Scylla might show Lyra some form of mercy or pity.

But Lyra would not need pity now. She would not need mercy or sympathy or anything else the senshi had to offer. Now, she would be strong enough to fight. Strong enough to kill. Stronger than anything the spineless Blood Moon Court could bring to arms against them. Tanzanite was going to make sure of it.

“She may be your sister, but I will not forget that she was once one of two women who carried Dioptase in to a brutal death, Zinkenite. Until she proves herself worth more than that, those are the actions I will remember her for.”

Suddenly, Hiro popped into existence. It was another power that took some getting used to; the ability to reach out and feel for the presence of Negaverse agents across the globe, to hook her power into theirs and pull them into the Negaverse on a whim. Tanzanite's silver eyes rolled down to meet his, and the General Queen even knelt to scratch behind one of his ears.

“Hiro,” she spoke kindly, having an undeniable affection for the cat who she knew watch over her corrupted senshi, “I can't very well train a super senshi to fight an Eternal Ares. I believe she is ready, if you would be so kind as to level the playing field?”

One moment Hiro had been enjoying his dinner. The next, he was weightless and suffering vertigo. One more moment and he popped into being somewere in the Negaverse, fluffed up like he'd gone through a tumble-dryer. Legs out, he snapped his head from side to side. He recognised Tanzanite, the new General Queen, and his fur hastily flattened back down while Hiro spent a frantic few seconds cleaning the remains of his food off his face.

After those ten or twenty seconds of frantic acitivity, Hiro sat, poised and collected. It was the usual cat mode of 'nothing to see here, I was always perfectly dignified', for those who were familiar with feline behaviour.

"Of course, ma'am," Hiro gave a little bow to Tanzanite, reminescent of a cat stretching, with his torso low and front paws out. He hoped she liked ma'am. He could do sir if she preferred. Did a General Queen rate a 'your majesty' or was that only for Beryl? Hiro flicked an ear. No doubt the latest GQ would tell him if he addressed her incorrectly. At least he had manners, after all.

The cat gave the other officers in the room a quick, curious glance, but his attention was dragged away by the newly corrupted senshi. He reached out with his Mauvian senses and nearly winced back. Her collected experience was a bright, pulsing beacon.

"She's ready to go Eternal, all right," he said, nudging at the senshi with a paw. "I have no clue how those White Moon cats could miss it. Blind idiots, the lot of them."

Hiro returned his attention to the corrupt Super Lyra. He was starting to get a headache from all the pent-up energy he could sense. He'd be more than glad to level this one up - then he could spend time with her without giving himself a migraine. Plus, he was glad to see more senshi being brought over to their side. He understood while the Negaverse's policy consisted of 'kill them all', but what good was a corrupt Guardian Cat without any corrupt senshi? Hiro would be content with just Alkaid, but happiness was having a bunch of corrupt senshi to whip into shape guard.

One teal eye stared hard at Lyra. The star on his head began to glow...

In her mind, the woman was wandering in darkness.

Nothing..no sound, no smell, nothing but like swimming in a sea of black ink. It felt... well, different. She felt like she was missing something. In her vast mind she was alone. What was her name? What was... her purpose? Things that she grasped for seemed to slip through her fingertips, things that a normal person would know.... she didnt.

All she knew was, something was touching her.

Eyes fluttering open briefly, the world came in a clarity that should feel normal. Right? There was something touching her still. Someone was also holding her. Turning her head to look down she saw something, blurred at first. Cute.... wait, what was this word? She did not know but looking at the small feline, she couldn't help but think such a random word. Cute.... the cute was glowing?

Before she could even realize what was happening, a feeling deep within clawed its way out. She let out a gasp, eyes widening as her whole body started to glow the same color the felines star. It was....warm? It was safe....

She was too dazed from the corruption still to really notice the change... she felt different, but she felt content. Happy. With a sigh the female closed her eyes once again, returning back to recovering from the trauma her soul had just taken.

For a long moment he did not answer Tanzinite, he was not one to rush his words when he wasn't...overrun with emotion, which for him could as often mean anger as not.

At last he did though and his tone was careful and respectful. "What seeing her will Do to Ares, alone... will distract her I hope. We have taken from her one of her students, a valuable took in our fight. Seeing her, I hope will bring Ares past logic...past any thought but wanting her death, I am... honored that you considered my request at all... Sibling or not her actions were unpardonable, and I am loath to think What Ares did to sway her so.

His lips curled back behind his mouth in an ugly snarl, as though it were Ares fault that she was part of this at all, but he pushed it away again as best he could before continuing.

"Using her against Ares, will a delightful twist."

His words didn't ring hollow per say, they simply lacked inflection. Polite and careful as though he were as much afraid of his words as he was of... god knew what else.

"... only one problem remains, the mark... it's on her ankle. I'll need to find a way to remove it discretely... or cover it with something more elaborate...but I have thoughts on that matter"
