'No? I guess when you're as pretty as you are it's hard to decide eh?' Arachne was either teasing or serious, but she did think Lizzy was a pretty demoness. In fact all the ghouls she knew were lovely; it could give a ghoul a complex.
She wondered at Lizzy's evasiveness.
'Not really, nothing solid?' she raised a brow as she looked at the ghoul.
'So there is someone you like.' she wondered if it was that dragon boil she'd gone to the dance with. Or maybe since then there'd been another one that Arachne hadn't met.
'Are you worried I might say something about him? I think I'm past my demon snobbery. I kind of have to be..' she said, picking up a few more sets and draping them over her arm. She had at least one look for any outfit.
'But I won't push you.' she poked her tongue out at Lizzy and then laughed.
'However much I want to know.'

"O-oh... Um, thank you..." She blushed, "You're very pretty yourself." She does like herself, so it never hurts to accept compliments! If Lizzy knew what Arachne was thinking, she would add that all ghouls are beautiful in their own way; then again, she had never met anyone that she didn't feel was 'comfortable' to look at.
"Aww, its not that! Really!" She looked worried for a moment; honestly, she never thought that her friend was snobby. Then again, she hadn't had the chance to see her around others, save for the island... And its difficult to be choosy where companions are concerned when faced with a life-and-death situation.

'Thanks.' Arachne accepted the compliment with a little smile; not that she would think it more than Lizzy being a very nice and generous friend.
'No? But really I was at one point. I mean I'm not completely flowery love and hugs for all monsters now, but I can certainly be in their company, and make friends when I get to know them..and sometimes very good friends.' she chuckled, colour rising in her cheeks. If she hadn't lost much of her prejudices than she would have missed out on knowing Sepheran.
'Hmm. Well, I think I have everything I could want from here.' she put a hand on the lingerie that was over her other arm and looked at Lizzy.
'How about you?'

"You were?" She tilted her head; she had missed it completely then... Not that it was of much importance. As much as she dislike snobby behavior, Arachne had proved herself to be a good friend. Besides, it seemed to her like the Spiderkin had changed her mindset about monsters, which made her smile rather proudly; its always nice to be able to get along with people for who they are rather than what they are.
"I'm glad!" She giggled softly, and then, noticing the blush on her cheeks, added with a grin, "Maybe even more than just very good friends~"
Taking one last glance at the rack, she shook her head before giggling again, glancing at the changing rooms at the back of the store, "Shall we try before we buy?" She had only picked out one set though. She had been distracted with the conversation they had going on.

'Yes, you wouldn't have noticed as you're a demon, and I didn't socialise all that much when we first met, but I was a terrible elitist.' Arachne poked the tip of her tongue out at Lizzy.
'Maybe. Hopefully? I can admit that I like him very much to you..saying how much he means to me to him is a bold step too far.' she felt herself blushing even more, her cheeks heating up.
'Oh yes, sure. I guess it might be an idea. I think I picked my right size, but it's been a while since I bought lingerie. Maybe I filled out some more.' she chuckled, looking at what Lizzy had picked up.
'Not wanting anything else?'

"Oh? What made you change your mind then?" She asked, tilting her head, curious about her friend's change of heart; she thought it might be due to the island trip, but she wanted to hear it from Arachne. She then smiled, walking up to her friend and giving her a quick hug, "I'm really happy though... I know people can't always get along, but I like to think it's because of a clash in personality than because of species."
Taking her hand gently, she then led the Spiderkin over to the changing rooms, "If it doesn't fit, we'll go back and get one that will." She giggled before looking down at the only thing that she had picked out, and then back up at Arachne again with a grin, "Nope~ I'm good!"

'I don't think there was one specific moment, I was tired of being on my own all the time, and just decided that I would allow myself to socialise with non-demons. I guess if there was a real turning point it would probably be that boat trip. I saved Ren when he went overboard, and he seemed just very sweet, and I wondered exactly who I was holding onto my prejudices for.' Arachne fell silent, feeling that the conversation had gotten a little deep for a shopping trip.
She squeezed Lizzy's hand and when they were in the changing rooms, she picked a cubicle and tried on the bras one by one. She peeked out around the curtain and said;
'I don't have to model these as well do I?' she asked, the only thing visible a hand and her head, peering around for her friend.

"Aw..." Her expression softened as she smiled, "I'm proud of you for taking that step! I'm glad something else that is good came out of that field trip!"
She went into a different cubicle at the same time as Arachne, and came out rather quickly; by the time her friend peeked out from her cubicle, Lizzy was already outside, waiting with a small smile on her lips. She giggled before shaking her head, "Oh, just go with your own opinions~"

Arachne poked her tongue out at Lizzy and retreated back into the cubicle, trying on and adjusting straps. She was fairly sure all the bottoms of the sets would fit, she just wanted to make the bras were comfortable, and after trying the last one on, she dressed, picked them all up and joined Lizzy.
'You sure you don't want more than that?' she asked, before they headed to the till area to purchase their items.

"I'm sure," She answered with a soft chuckle, putting her purchase down on the counter as she retrieved her wallet, paying for it and taking the bag it had been placed in with a soft 'thank you' to the cashier before taking Arachne's arm, waiting for her to be done as well.
"Shall we grab a bite to eat before we continue?" She asked, tilting her head, "I'm feeling a little peckish..."

'Okay.' Arachne was going to pay for Lizzy's purchase, but the ghoul beat her to it. Well, she would just have to pay for their food. She waited as the cashier bagged her purchases, paying and linking her arm with her friends.
'Sounds good. My treat though.' she said firmly, smiling at the ghoul.
'Where's good to eat here?'

"Ohh? I'll have to order something expensive then," She giggled, obviously teasing judging from her tone and smile. At least she wasn't protesting about being treated to a meal, probably since Arachne seemed bent on the idea.
"Hmm, I feel like having some pasta," She mused, looking around before looking up at her friend with a small smile, "If you're fine with it, that is?"

'Order away.' Arachne said and chuckled in return. She had a monthly spending limit that her Grandmother had set, but it was pretty generous. And she hadn't really spent much in her first months at the school as she had not known if she was staying. But now she was settled, and even had friends she could treat so she had started making a dent in what she had saved.
'Sure, fine by me.' she would eat pretty much anything. Unless it moved.
'I could do with a drink more than anything.'

"Oh? Feeling generous, are we?" She smiled, leading them down an escalator, to the basement of the Maul where most of the food-related stores are located. Looking around, she eventually settled on a cafe with the name 'Wild Creations'. Once she confirmed that they sold both pasta and various beverages, she led Arachne and herself in.
"Table for two please!" She smiled at the waitress who came to meet them at the door; it had been quite the trip, even if they had just begun shopping... Lots of things to talk about over their meal for sure.

'Today I am.' Arachne said, poking her tongue out. With bags in hand she walked along with Lizzy, looking around as they descended the escalator.
Inside the cafe after taking their seats and ordering their food and drinks, they would get to talking - Arachne mostly asking about clothes to wear when her date with Sepheran was arranged. It was all in all a very pleasant shopping trip.
