E-13 buckled over in a creative stream of swearing.

First the bullets in his a**, and now- why did projectiles always have to aim below the belt? ...Unfortunately, it was a boot he recognized.

By the time he looked up, there were less pinks and a whole lot of smoking. Not all the debris was boots. ...And he was supposed to step out there? The ache in his nether-regions seemed to confirm it.

He took a flag and hobbled unhappily over to B-1.

ε IX had just begun to let out her breath in a sigh of relief when it happened. A split second of recognition and even less time for a mixture of annoyance and despair at going out this way, and ε IX simply was no more. Not exactly leaving with your bootstraps on, but sometimes you just.. ended up on a land mine.

Nine had been right, there wasn't a mine right after the first one. Instead it was just a trap door, and down she fell into a vat of acid.

Nothing happened that time...right? Wrong. E-12 heard a faint creak, followed by a sickening splash and a scream. There were no noises afterwards, which just futher confirmed that E-12 did not want to know what the splash was.

She glanced beside her a smiled, unseen, at E-8.

With her destination in mind, E-12 took a step onto the square named 5-C and planted her flag.

Well that was nerve wracking. But it was at least... not another explosion. Biting his lip, yII moved on to 7C

The quiet splash sounded again, as tiles 1c, 3c, and 7c. But this time they weren't met by acid, but by the 73 very large and hungry piranhas that waited below.

At the very least, you have contributed to the Circle of Life.

Result:
The pirhanas were divided amongst the tanks, each fish doing approximately 1 damage, for a total of 24 HP. Should your character have HP left after that, congratulations, they managed to climb out. Their suit and masked are tattered beyond recognition. Fortunately they have another suit and mask underneath that are still in relatively good condition.

There it was; the splashing again. This time it dragged on and on, screams mingling with the splashes. If E-12 could have reached her ears, her hands would be covering them. As it was, she clutched her flag tightly and refocused on her goal. Things were not looking promising.

E-12 steadied herself and took a step onto square 4-D, planting her flag a little less resolutely than in turns past.

As the blocks collapsed, E8 watched as the two figures fell in to the pool of fish. It really was an interested, yet gruesome sight. One fell prey to the fish, while another, the "Boss" of all people miraculously made her way out.

"At least that is something positive, in a sense."

Turning his attention back to the game at hand, E8 jumped on to 5D and made his mark.
