Cody looked at her, looking at her ears and her tail still, but then he heard what she said, "Your... your the cat... but... how... you were..." He tried making sense of this but then fell back from fainting, this was too much.

Sakura's eyes widened again as Cody fainted. "Oh!" she gasped. She stepped off the bed and went over to him. She knelt on her knees at his side, poking him in the forehead. "You okay mister?" she asked, leaned over him. He didn't die did he? she wondered. She instantly felt guilty. "Shoot," she grumbled, poking him once more.

Cody grunted when she poked him, he wasn't dead and he was breathing.

Sakura jumped back as he grunted. "Phew." she sighed. She peered at him again. She giggled quietly as she realized. "I've never seen a man faint before." she said out loud, giggling again. She put her hands on the floor between her legs, her tail swishing back and forth, waiting for Cody to come to. She considered poking him again.

After a few minutes, he started to wake up, he rubbed his head, "What happened..." He asked confused, forgetting that she was there.

Sakura smiled, seeing him wake. "Oh, you fainted mister." she told him in a cheery tone. She giggled. "Because you found out that I was the cat you brought home last night." She tilted her head, flicking her ears. "Remember now?"

Cody looked at her when she said something, "So this isn't a dream..." He looked at her curiously but then he looked at her, reaching a little to her and gently felt her ear.

Sakura blinked as he reached for her ear. She leaned into it slightly, closing her eyes. "Mhm, nope. Not a dream." she sighed, "That feels nice." She opened her eyes staring at him. "You're just lucky I don't bite." she said, flashing a toothy grin.

Cody looked at her, he saw that she liked having her ear rubbed but then he heard her comment, "You wouldn't bite... would you?" He asked curiously.

Sakur laughed. "Not unless you gave me a reason to." she replied. She flicked her tail. "Sorry, but you know my name but I don't know yours." she watched him curiously, her light eyes large and shining. "What is it?" she asked.

Cody looked at her but then he gently nodded, "My name is Cody." he said kindly as he thought about it, "Um... why were you climbing over me earlier... I can understand that you had fallen asleep the night before in my bed but what were you doing?" he asked curiously.

Sakura blushed slightly. "Ah, see I was trying to leave. I knew it'd surprise you to see some strange girl in your bed." she explained. "Only way out was over you." She rubbed the back of her head and laughed nervously. "Didn't work much did it?"

Cody nodded and rubbed the back of his head, "Yeah..." He then thought about it, "Well you don't have to leave..." he said softly.

"I don't?" Sakura asked, surprised. She smiled and with a high pitched "Nya!" flung herself over him. "Thanks! I hated those streets. And there people chasing me off and those dogs aren't very nice either." She blinked and shuffled back off of him. "Sorry." she said, smiling. "I get carried away." She flicked her tail energetically.

Cody blushed when she flung herself over him, but then he looked at her when she backed off a bit, "Its okay... I am just glad that you can be happy... but can I make you anything to eat or anything?" He asked kindly, rubbing the back of his head.
