Theta Three felt a familiar buzz at her hip and frowned, another text? Yes another text, she read the message over and cursed. She sighed and slid her cellphone away again. The same message had no doubt gone to the other as well if yesterday's news was any indication. Now she didn't seem to have much choice, if she wanted to survive she'd have to go out and search for that stupid pendant. How did a pendant keep you alive anyway and what would stop everyone else from wanting to kill you for it?
"Was I really stupid enough to sign my life away?" She muttered under her breath before cautiously slipping out of the tent.

What a bunch of nice kids. eight thought to himself sarcastically, a tired lethargic droop lowering on his features, hidden behind his clunky mask. Seems he'd be keeping on the sidelines with this group. That wasn't a problem. Besides, now wasn't really the time for socializing, though it seemed most were forming bonds on sight. Maybe if he got enough gear he could blow this joint. Sighing silently to himself in an almost annoyed manner, the boy kept his distance from the clumping group, waiting for their deliberation to get settled. Fiddling idly with the phone equipped at his belt, and the steak in his other hand, eight took a last glance around the small enclosure, and one final look to those who seemed destined to stay here. If they were surrounded they were screwed up the fanny.
At hearing the request for an item and weapon count, rather than conforming to some pre-schoolesque line forming, he gave a lift of his arm to present his steak. That should do it. If that chick, or dude; he didn't care and wasn't paying attention, wanted a 'role call' that's all they were getting. His patience with these people was growing thin though, all this irritating shouting, it made his teeth grit firmly. "Just shut up and let's go, god dang.." he blurted suddenly, though in a more exasperated fashion, from a heavy sigh. With that, he moved past the bodies in his way to slip out through the entrance of their base to the welcoming fog that encompassed the whole area. Talk about doom and gloom... there wasn't a sun, bird, or pleasant creature in site. Fight for the fittest.. That's what this was. If you weren't smart, strong, or just plain lucky, you wouldn't last here.
The group behind him was taking a bit too long to form, but a few others began trailing out on their own. Following suit, as he probably would have anyway, he too began strolling onwards, senses heightened and alert to his every surrounding. He placed his steps as light as possible while maintaining an appropriate pace.
Level one, here I come...

"Well five, you already know what I have." He gestured towards the mace on his hip again, it was plain as day and in easy reach if he found he needed to brain another suited member on the island. Looking up he noticed more of the people heading out into the fog which was strangely thick around the tent.
"C'mon five lets see if we can make our way out of here already." With that he headed out the tent starting towards what he assumed was north, sadly the fog had other plans for him...

Why he hoped to claim some sense of order, one person just decided to leave without even so much as letting Theta-5 account for his number or take some sort of tally if he was with them or not. He had no idea who that guy or girl was, and moved with a cut of "Wait! You-" before the one member vanished. And then EVERYONE started filing out, one by one, without so much as letting him gather all their numbers. It was such a mess, and soon Theta-5 was wondering if he even wanted to be in a group that was so...so...unogranized! They would get him killed if they just went out withotu some sembalance of order, but even though, he still wanted them to come back to he could set everything and everyone straight. Filing out and all that jazz.
Miserable and overstressed as more and more people left into the fog, Thirteen came by and, with an easy air that made Five want to punch him, said they should head out.
"This is bad. Everyone is just rushing out to get killed and they WILL get killed. They didn't even go in a single file line! I bet they are just spread out all over the place, walking blinding." He shivered at that imagery of so many people scattered like tossed confetti.
Still, the pull to not be alone was strong, and watching Theta-Thirteen go, Theta-Five whined to himself before moving out of the tent. "Wait up!"

She rummaged through her bag a bit more looking to see if anything else was in it. No food, no drink, no toilet paper. That was odd, not that they could actually take the stupid costume off, but now that she though about it was wasn't hungry anyway. She had slept for three day and she wasn't hungry.
Her cellphone buzz again and looked to see what her latest message was. Another message to annoy the crap out of her. Now she had to find a pendant and it seemed there were just five. She looked up to see the last of her teammates filing out of the tent and realized she was about to be very alone, in a tent in the middle of nowhere.
"Just great," she mumbled, "why had she agreed to this again and why couldn't she remember." She shook her head quickly zipping her bag, stake still and hand and ran after 13 and 5.
"Guys, what happened to you supposed organization. Ugh, wait up," she called running into the fog.

As some other Thetas moved outside, Theta Nine shrugged to himself and decided to join the bandwagon.
"I don't think there really is any kind of organization," he commented. The commotion outside wasn't something he was eager to get involved in, but it was get involved or hope the others would finish off, whatever it was. Did any of them even know how to fight? Not like this, not to the death, a thought told him, only to vanish when he tried to pursue it further. Anyway, there were no doubt more of the same threats over the next few days, and it could be good to get some experience dealing with them.
During the walk outside, the insistent buzzing of his cell phone made him pick it up, even if he was already vaguely starting to dread its messages. Pendants, hmm? He wasn't too eager to get any right now. Seemed like a good way of painting one big target on his back. He would keep an eye out for them when it got to be about day 5 or so, though.

.............What? No, seriously. WHAT? They just... They just ignored her. Like... She was some fly on the wall. And that stupid Theta... Really High Number, acting all high and mighty. Who died and made them king of this creepy island?! They were probably ordered from 1-13 depending on their rank of level and obviously 1 was meant to be the leader. And then they were leaving! UGH.
"This majorly blows." She huffed to herself, rummaging around in her bag for that stupid gun before stalking forward into the fog.

Theta-Ten and woken up early on, but had sat in the corner watching others slowly wake up and take weapons. She was still confused. Well, confused was an understatement, but she didn't feel like quibbling over what she was right then, as it might bring in more fun issues that didn't need dealt with.
She had received some strange texts on her phone, one about 13 survivors and one about pendants, and filed them in her mind for reference later.
Standing up, she moved over to the corner and grabbed her weapon off the table, a handgun, noting it had rubber rounds (oh THAT would do her so much good), and decided it was time to follow everyone out.

[ ENTER from boss thread ]
Theta four was still muttering, grumbling to himself as he stumbled through the blinding fog. This would have been a lot more fun if he had a damned flame thrower (seriously, t-4, firebug much?). Hah! He bet he could burn a hole in that stupid fog if he had a flame thrower!
He suddenly realized that he had been too busy muttering to pay attention to where he was going, well that was brilliant, no really. Keep that up and he was likely to be attacked or worse, find himself back at the home...well ******** was what could have been described as an epic facepalm as Theta four looked up to realize he had walked straight into his own home base. What the hell, how useless was that! Like he was going to accomplish anything by sitting around here, hmph!
One thing was sure, he wasn't sticking around! Well, so long as he was here he may as well take a quick look around to see if there were any supplies he could raid.

The throbbing in his head was what woke him up. He had been so comfortable and he just wanted to go back to sleep but the persistent ache was too much. His hand reached up to massage his temples and the feel of leather on leather made his eyes shoot open. Suddenly he realized he couldn’t breathe right; there was a mask over his mouth. He groped at the edges, trying to get it off before he remembered. The room and the man in the hood. Slowly he pulled his hands away from his face and began to notice his surroundings.
Theta XI (though he didn’t know himself by that designation, or any other for that matter) looked around with his goggle covered eyes. There was little movement here now, though he could tell that more people had been here not long ago. From where he sat he could see a couple of tables that looked like they were holding supplies of some sort but otherwise, not much. He stood to get a better vantage point and he noticed how the armoured suit restricted his movement. It wasn’t too bad, he supposed, but the nagging voice in the back of his mind that told him he was used to more freedom. Theta XI cast his vision downward to better examine his clothes and noticed the cell phone attached to his belt. The screen was flashing. He plucked it out of its holster and pressed the ‘read new message’ prompt. He had to read the message a couple times before he was sure he understood it correctly.
He could feel his head starting to clear up as the throbbing was slowly replaced by a kind of cold numbness. Theta XI carefully replaced the cell phone to its proper spot. It, he somehow knew, would be very important. Calmly he approached the tables he has seen and saw that there were medical kids and backpacks numbered with a Theta followed by a roman numeral (though he couldn’t be sure how he knew what those were). He grabbed the pack closest to him (Theta XI, by convenient coincidence) and one of the kits before going to examine the third table, which held a map. Theta XI has never been very good with maps, or if he had he certainly wasn’t now.
While trying to figure out what exactly was going on, or maybe where he was, he fumbled blindly with the zipper on his bag and shoved the med kit inside. The bag however was not empty. He glanced down but before he figured out what it was a sound outside drew his attention. Someone was approaching. Only thirteen of you will make it off of this island. Not knowing what to expect he looked around for something he could use as a weapon, just in case. It was then that he noticed the wooden club poking out of his backpack, it must have been what his first aid kit had bumped into. He didn't pull it out immediately, if this new arrival wasn't a threat there was no point in provoking him or her, but he knew he could grab it quickly if the need arose.

Whether he had taken a quick look or ransacked the camp, Theta four had found nothing useful remaining in the base camp.
Hmph, what a waste a time. He was sticking around here, time to get the hell on the move and find something interesting.

Instead of sticking around to see who had come back to the camp Theta XI decided to get the heck out of dodge. He shoved the club and medkit back into the bag and hoofed it out the back.

{Zeta 12 is entering the tent with Zeta 2 on his back}
A tent. Any tent. Some place to rest. He had travelled from the beach to the Abandoned Town, then finally here to the lighthouse. No rest. None at all. Oh he needed sleep so badly. He had let Z2 rest on his back the whole way, now, it was supposed to be his turn. He entered the tent, glad to see it empty. He had heard commotion around the area. At least there were people here. Maybe the E13 from the text was too. Pendants. He needed them for himself and Z2.
He set Z2 down, then sat down on the tabel set up. What now?
That commotion... he had to investigate. Z2 was safe. He'd just go out for a little bit...

{Zeta12 is entering}
Still... sleeping? Z2 hadn't moved, or so it seemed. Very little action from his partner had been taken. Should he leave him be? Z2 just wanted to live safely, where as Zeta 12 had a new mission. Save people. Save everyone.
"Just... stay here. It's safe here now." He looked back out of the tent. Where to now? What else could he do for anyone? It was suicide to go on his own, right?
"I'd rather die helping people than running for my life. Come with me if you want, other than that... I am leaving."
