Ceri yawned deeply. Laying against Haru soft fur and being in the warm sun was a perfect opportunity for a nap. "Mhmm...." She started to drift off. Her head jerked a bit. She didn't want to fall asleep... but she was so comfortable. She couldn't fight it, before she knew it she was asleep.

Haru was clearly unsure what to do, watching the vixen slowly fall asleep against his paint splattered designed coat. Carefully he fidgeted slightly to make sure he was comfortable to both her and himself. His tail curled under her head, strange eyes narrowing slightly as he watched the surrounding creatures run about. Humans were coming closer and closer, and Haru found himself wanting to bolt. A forest fox was naturally nervous around the humans, but, he couldn't just leave Ceri.
So instead he growled slightly, scaring off a small child that had been growing to close to him and Ceri. This was mentally exhausting to the extreme. Though, maybe he could get used to the city. Perhaps. The food was good.

Ceri hardly ever kept still as she slept. She rolled off of Haru and onto her back. Her paws twitched in the air as her dream deer chased off, and her dream self chasing it. Her lips curled and let out a low growl. That's right, she was going to get that deer. She rolled slightly again, this time her back was to Haru, her paws still twitching.

People were growing to close to Ceri, who was being a fool and rolling around idiotically. Suddenly, it became to much and he let out a loud snarl, leaping at the human child trying to touch the girl he had a crush on. He snarled when a human grabbed him by the scruff, nearly biting the hand that held him still, not realizing the humans were talking of how cute he was and how they wanted to take him home. A human touched his bow, his eyes flashing as he bit into the soft hand that held him, released with a loud wail of pain. Haru landed on all fours, backing up in-front of Ceri, ears back.
Why the hell did she like it here so much?!

Ceri jumped awake as she heard a yelp. "Haru!?" She quickly looked around, she saw a humans hand bleeding and saw Haru looking defensive. Oh no... This is bad... Really bad... "Haru! Run!" She nudged at him and urged him to go. "This is bad! They do bad things to foxes who bite humans!" She can only remember that time she saw a different fox bite a human, they caught him and put him in a moving metal box. He was never seen again.... She couldn't let that happen to Haru.

Haru whipped around to glance at Ceri, distracted for a second and grabbed by the scruff. He snarled and twisted, managing to whip the hand with his tail and released. He darted near Ceri, hunkering down slightly. "You can follow me if you like, or stay with your precious humans." He grumbled, darting faster than even a cat, heading for the alleys. He slunk into the darkest part of the alley, skittering behind a box and discovering a set of stairs going into a basement that was closed, crawling down the stairs and against the door, shrouded by the shadows.
What the hell?! Why did she like this disgusting place so much? He hated it. Hated the humans. Hated everything. There wasn't anything here he liked. Maybe the art, but god he hated the things that made it! Humans! He hated them!

Ceri sighed in relief as se saw Haru got away. She took off after him, then yelped as a sharp pain went off into her leg. She looked at her thigh and saw that there was a dart looking thing in her. She panicked. Her body was become stiff and her vision was blurring and getting dark. "Haru!!" That was the ast thing she could say or think of before she blacked out completely.
By the time Ceri came through she was being carried by a human, she squirmed, but the human just held her tighter. Ceri lookd around, she had no idea wear she was. The human rounded a corner and Ceri hear alot of barking, she winced as a branch scraped her and took the string off her back. Ceri was the nunged into a metal box, given some water and something that looked like it could be food. She ignored it and curled up in the corner. What was going to happen now...

Haru had heard her voice, and when he padded slowly back he noticed the humans grabbing her, watching as she was thrown into a large metal object. When it left he followed the disgusting things scent (which proved to be difficult, though luckily it smelled of animals as well) and watched as she was brought into one of the humans habitats.
When he entered it was night. The humans had left in some weird metal thing, and he had slipped in as the last human had begun to exit the door. He traveled through the corridors, hunkered to the ground as he heard barks and howls, meows and hisses, chirps and screeches. Sounds of animals he barely understood.
"God dammit Ceri, you in here?" He called out, rounding the corner and skittering back out of it when a large dog in a change barked at him. "I HATE DOGS!"

Haru? Was that really him? "Haru!! I'm here!!" She could hear the other animals start barking and such at Haru. But the ones near her were silent. Was he in a different part of the building? "HARU!!" She kept calling him and started hitting the sides of the box with her tail, any noise would help him find her.

Haru heard the sounds and noises, snarling slightly. "So tell me why you like this damn disgusting place again?!" He snapped back, heading for the sound. He turned the corner, slipping into the hallway and finding her in a cage. He approached the object, scowling at the vixen.
"Why? Why do you love this place?" He snipped, attempting to open the lock, and failing.

"I like it outside! I hate it here!" Ceri's eyes started to water and the tears rolled down her cheeks. She sniffled and wiped away some tears that were forming in her eyes. "Please don't leave me in here Haru..." She didn't know what to do, it seemed Haru was having a hard time with the lock. She knew he could do it.

He scowled at her, shaking his head. "Humans are disgusting." With this he tried to insert a claw into the lock, failing. Fine. He moved to the side of the cage, then squirmed into the back. "I'm sorry." He said before suddenly forcing his head under, and flipping it completely upside down. The lock broke with the force, swinging wide open. Haru rushed to the front, crawling to the opening of the cage.
"Are you okay? Did I hurt you? Ceri?"

Ceri tumbled in the cage as it fell over, she knew she was going to have bruises later on, but she didn't care. She wanted to get out of this deity forsaken place. "I don't know and right now.. I don't care! Let's just get out of this damn place."
She wasn't the one to curse, but at that time she couldn't care any less about cursing. She was trying hard not to cry, her jaw was clenched tight and her body ached from the fall, from wrestling with the human who put her there, the who experience had her drained. As she walked she had a slight limp. "Let's go before someone comes along to investigate the noise."

Gladly. He didn't want to be in this filthy mess anymore. He crouched under her and lifted his back so she was on his back, not letting her walk as he dashed ahead. This way, he didn't have to wait for her. Quickly, he headed into room after room, glancing for an exit. He had entered the place by someone opening the door, so now he needed a exit. He found one when he saw a window open in a room full of kittens in a cage. He headed to a crate, leaping on one after another, making sure Ceri didn't fall out. When he leapt onto the edge, he spotted that if they jumped through it was a small drop, but he'd drop Ceri. So, he set her down, leapt out the window, and winced when he landed on his side.
Carefully, he got back up and called out for Ceri. "Jump down onto me, it'll be softer." This is why he had jumped out first, so she could use him as a cushion.

As Haru scooped her up on his back Ceri held on. Even though she felt safer on his back, she knew they were out of danger, not yet anyway. When Haru spotted the window she felt more hope. She watched as Haru jumped out and landed on his side, which made her cringe. "But... I'd hurt you..." That was the last thing she wanted to do to Haru, inspecially after all he has done for her. She looked around quickly and found a spot were only half of her would land on Haru. She jumped and landed where she wanted to. It still hurt, but not as much. "Thanks..."
