She sprang to her feet and kept a bit of distance between her and Ferro. She grinned, but it wasn't as much happiness as it was somewhat cruel and even a little triumphant. "You prepared to fight, boy?" Even her voice had changed a bit.

I'm trouble y'all, I got trouble in my town Eden froze and her eyes widened in semi-shock. Briefly her eyes shifted from the dark red back to her familiar black eyes. Then they were gone. She pushed away from him, her once again red eyes held a trace of anger. Only because the kiss had almost worked. Though this time, something had changed. Her eyes may still have been red and she was still geared to fight, but her normal self was a bit stronger this time.

Especially after going into the fighting stage and coming back out so quickly. Usually her body needed some time to adjust to it.
