Pierre and Haikimaru kept in step with their leader. Though they would switch back and forth to talk to Alex. Pierre went first. "So is soccer your favorite sport? It sure is mine. So how do you like Reed's have you found anyone special?" He asked the girl.

Alex smiled and said "Yes it is my favorite sport, but no i have not found anyone special." She sped up as the leader got faster.

Kai kept a short distance ahead of everyone else, letting them create teammate bonds amongst himself. He'd have plenty of time to bond with the team later. Right now, he had to set the level of respect. The best way to do that, was to stay ahead of the pack, and lead them by example. This was the first step on gaining the new players trust and to get them to play their hardest for him. They'd first learn to respect his physical prowess, and fear his skills as the best midfielder.
The latter would come after the jog.

Pierre smiled and chuckled. "Well I'm sure you'll find a friend or boyfriend soon. You are good looking and nice." The senior commented. He was hoping for the best of luck for her.

"Well thanks." Alex said smiling up at him. "Well we better catch up buddy." Alex said cracking her knuckles.

Kai turned around to face the team, some of the newbies were tired, but, with the help of other players, managed to keep it up. Surprisingly, only two or three had completely dropped out. "This may be the best year we've had, yet." He mumbled to himself.
"Alright, everyone! We've reached 15 minutes! Let's do a complete one-eighty and head on back to the field! Same pace!"
He jogged by, looking at the three who managed to stay closest to him. "Alex, Pierre, 'Maru, nice job thus far. Keep it up." He patted Alex's should and sprinted back to the front of the group, making sure he was still in the lead of everyone. Switching from jog to sprint also helped keep his body ready and able during the games to fit the flow of the ever changing field.

Alex grinned and decieded to help with the other players. She ran next to them and chat for one or two minutes and speed up a tad just to geet them to catch up.

Pierre chuckled. "Don't worry. I'll keep up." He told Alex. He was sure he would be fine. Haikimaru growled at the captain. "It's Haikimaru. Teme." The kitsune responded to called 'maru. He was not pleased with it.

Alex chuckled and ran beside Haikimaru. "This is easy I think the team might make it to Nationals>" Alex said grinning.

Catching only the ending bit of what they were saying, he laughed to himself. Shouting out loud, "Everyone! Haikimaru's current nickname is 'Maru! And it sticks until he scores his first goal in a game!" He turned to back pedal, and faced the team. "Now let me hear you shout it! Haikimaru's nickname is!"
"'Maru!" The team shouted back, some slightly laughing, and a few picked up their pace a bit. Haikimaru would get over the nickname pretty soon. After all, the team was to be close, what better way to bring Haikimaru closer than giving him a nickname only the team would use?

Haikimaru stopped. "This team is not worth my time. When I was in Japan we learn to respect each other." He scuffed and made a fireball about the size of a soccer ball and kicked it at the net. Hitting it in. He then walked away refusing to be in a group that insults him so. Pierre rolled his eyes. "Get over yourself." He muttered. Haikimaru was a good player. He just had an attitude problem. "He was one of the few people to get a ball pass me." He added.

Jason sat at the edge of the pitch in his wolf form, Ookami sitting beside him. He watched as Haikimaru walked away, and tilted his head to the side. 'I wonder if they'd let me join,' he thought. He stood and ran towards the team, shifting back to human as he ran, Ookami beside him.
