Justin smiled, putting an arm around his sister. "I love you too....Maria." He told her. He closed his eyes, simply wanting to enjoy this moment with her.

~~ Maria rested her head on Justin's shoulder, closing her eyes. Nappy poked her head in between them, meowing. Obviously, she figured this was a group hug. ~~

Justin opened his eyes when he heard Nappy meow. He almost laughed at the cat, but in a good way. Artemisa stared down at Justin and Maria kindly.

~~ Maria lifted her head, opening her eyes. She laughed lightly, petting Nappy. "Awh....I think...Nappy felt left out." Nappy purred, rubbing against Maria's hand and watching Artemisa attentively at the same time. ~~

Justin smiled. He just found this scene funny. Artemisa just found it adorable. Maria was so sweet and innocent. Justin was glad to have a sister like her. Part of him wanted more, but he had to think about what Maraia would feel about it.

~~ (Wow. I've made it four pages without any video game or movie referances, comments, ect. Amazing. Let's see how long it lasts. ^_^)
Maria rested her head on Justin's shoulder again, stroking Napoleon. Considering most brothers found it gross to say, "I love you," to their sister, even in a sibling way, she found it strange Justin had no problem. Not that she was complaining; just a thought that popped into her head. ~~

Justin stared up into the sky, once again watching the clouds. He honestly loved his sister, but he wasn't sure how she'd take the fact that she was adopted, or that her brother had those kind of feelings for her. Most people would find this disturbing, but he couldn't help it. When he first met Maria, he was instantly taken with her, despite her disability.

~~ "Promise?" Maria held out her pinky. Pinky swears for Maria were like unbreakable vows. Breaking the promise was breaking her heart. ~~

Justin nodded, wrapping his pinky around Maria's. "Promise." He told her. He would never break a promise to her.

~~ Maria smiled. "Thank you." She wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. Nappy got up and walked to the door, pawing at it and meowing, asking to be let in.
Justin's mom opened it, and Nappy trotted inside. She saw Justin and Maria. "How are you two doing?" ~~

Justin looked up to his mom. "We're fine, Mom." He told her. Artemisa began to circle the tree once more.

~~ She nodded, and walked over, kneeling infront of them and pushing hair out of Maria's face. "Maria, is your ear okay?"
"Yes mama." NIDS made her prone to ear infections. ~~
