Dragain Appeal A mysterious hooded figure has been watching the student's actions all this time. Out of nowhere the seemingly fade from the fog right in front of your student, grabbing them away from the others. Your student is being attacked! HP: 13
Damage to Lizzy: None! She felt herself being pulled away from Mac - and while he was not at all comforting, it was better than being attacked. She flailed for a whole 2 seconds before realizing that she was armed, although not with her weapon of choice. Holding onto the old wooden bat with both hands, she charged forward at the mysterious figure, bat raised, ready to strike.
HP: 25 Damage: 1 There is no explanation for their actions, they move quickly and efficiently, swinging forward with their weapon. The object stings upon contact, leaving your student feeling oddly even more tired. HP: 12
Damage to Lizzy: 3

Damage to Lizzy: 3 Stepping back after feeling her first attack land, she braced herself for the mysterious figure's attack; to her surprise, the weapon didn't hurt her as much as she imagined. It did sting, but there was also an odd feeling... Like that time in the forest! She glared at the attacker, weapon raised again as she moved forward, determined to land a hit; bring the bat down hard, she then took a few steps back, still glaring.

Gunshots were what attracted Alwine to this path. In her search to find Mandy, the ghost was erratic and panicked, calling out her name almost constantly.
It didn't take long for her to find the group, but it did take her awhile to find Mandy. She never would have suspected that that drenched, pitiful, shivering figure was the girl she had hugged so tightly before she left. It made Alwine approach her a little more slowly, and eventually she tapped the bear on the shoulder.

Damage: None! The last attack had missed her, Lizzy moving back just in time to barely avoid being hit again. Grip tightening around her weapon, she moved forward, a little unnerved from the way the attacker seemed to be unaffected by her previous attack, but determined to him him/her/it again anyway; it was good stress relief!

Damage to Lizzy: 1 "Ughh..." She groaned, feeling her energy slip away when she came into contact with the mysterious figure's weapon; as if being cold wasn't enough, now she's slightly tired too... And it wasn't the sort of fatigue that could be fixed with a good nap either. Taking in a deep breath, she charged at her attacker again, weapon raised.

Arachne shook her head at Sepheran. 'Don't say that, don't joke about it.'
She was uncomfortable with showing compassion, caring for another - a monster and a boil at that - having kept herself closed off for so long. She didn't want to think about that happening in front of her, someone losing their life on this jacking trip.
She looked towards Elizabeth giving her a little nod before letting out a noise of surprise at another attack, this time on her friend. She hadn't even realised that her hand had gone out and she was clinging onto Sepheran; he was the nearest and she was at a loss as to what to do - should she even try to help? She watched, nervous, teeth chewing on her lower lip.

HP: 4 Damage to Lizzy: 2 Her grip on the wooden bat loosened as she felt a sting, followed by her energy being drawn away. It was dangerous, having her energy taken like that... She raised the bat again, narrowing her eyes at the figure as she tried to focus; come on, a little more effort on her part...

"I was not." Mac insisted stubbornly. No, he wasn't nervous. No, Mandy didn't put him on edge. Of course not! Luckily, the arm Lizzy clung to was his right; there was no reason to alert her to the pain from his left. It was also the likely reason for his next statement:
"No way." His coat was staying on, thank you very much. The sneezing from who he assumed to be the terrifying Mandy continued, and the Reaper flinched every time he heard it; she was closing in. She was going to kill him, clearly. When she did get around to him, he looked down at her...and his black eyes widened. This little thing...wasn't scary at all? Was he imagining it all? He had to have been; Mandy looked downright pathetic. He...He actually felt Bad for her!
"I..." What this...a conscience?! Oh god! "I don't know, we were all thrown over..." Poor Mandy, but she hopefully couldn't blame him for not looking for her friend. Before he could do more, he turned towards the sound of Arachne's voice. Wait, Elizabeth? Black eyes widening again, he looked down at the pink haired Demoness.
"Your name is Elizabeth?" Wow, that seemed more elegant than the 'Lizzy' he was introduced with! Blinking, he looked back at Arachne. "It's alright, you don't have to. I think I lost my phone, too." He sighed, patting his sodden belt pouches; the contents were too wet to be of use, in fact some things he had stored in there would likely need to be tossed now. Greeeat.
Then, the attack came.
Mac jumped out of the way, giving both fighters wide enough space; he didn't want in! With his shivering, he'd likely be more of a hinderance. So he stood off to the side, finally taking the towel and drying his skin off, even taking off his hat to ruffle up and get some excess water from his hair, though he did manage a snort to Petro.
"Normally I'd agree, man. But that person at the tent didn't look like that, and it had buddies." He could tell, from the skelephone the figure had. "I think they're watching all of us, dude." Which didn't help, really.
Lizzy took his arm again, his left this time, and likely missed the hiss of pain that followed as she was pulled away; he was torn. Thankful she wasn't hugging his hurt arm, or concerned that the idiot had been pulled away to fight. For now, he just kept himself busy.

HP: 0LOOT: A mysterious pendant has fallen from the figure as it disengages and disappears. (( Check out your items in your my items inventory! ))

[ILU APPEAL.]
"UGH."
She cried out in frustration as she stared into the fog, as if waiting for the figure to reappear. When he/she/it didn't she frowned, relaxing a little as she shoved the bat back into her backpack, not really caring about the fact that the end of the bat was poking out of it; that made it easier for her to draw it out anyway, if an attack happens again. As she was about to leave to rejoin her group, she noticed something poking out of the sand. While hesitant at first, she quickly swooped down and picked it up - a pendent...
Tossing that into her backpack as well, she quickly ran to rejoin her group, a small smile on her face; she was tired from the battle, mostly due to the odd feeling of having her energy drained, but proud that she had survived it and caused the attacker to retreat.
"Yes, my name is Elizabeth," She nodded at Mac, as if the whole battle didn't just happen, taking his arm before looking up at him, nodding, "Elizabeth Baines, actually. I'm just used to Lizzy, so I didn't deem it necessary to tell others that..."
Turning to face their newest arrival, a headless/invisible (which was it?) ghoul with a small smile (that was all she could manage after that battle) and a dip of her head, she gestured at herself, "Hello! I'm Lizzy... Uh, are you Alwine by any chance...? Mandy seemed worried about you!" Her expression softened just a tad; they remind her of Amrita and herself!
