"I sure as hell hope so . . . " Aksaja muttered at that, folding arms over his chest. He didn't like not being able to Shift, or do anything else in this cursed place. And not being able to fly - whether it was a smart idea or not - was already majorly grating on his nerves.
At least it seemed like they'd chosen the right path, if their FEAR might possibly get stronger the farther they went. Maybe.
"Rip it apart!" he yelled, random encouragement - simply because he'd like to see these bastards torn into pieces now.

It was Lizzy's idea, why was be going first?
Well, technically they were both going first, as the Demoness decided to cling to his arm...but still. He'd rather be more in the middle of the group than helping to lead it. Unable to remove her however, had him submitting to his fate.
The fog was especially thick right now; he could hear voices, and what sounded like a battle going on. Naturally, he was on edge, his free hand gripping the old wooden baseball bat just in case the battle came this way. He still had the slight cut across his throat from the last battle he was in...there was no way he was going to let that happen again.
"Now what?" He murmured to Lizzy, before he paused. Wait, he recognized that one voice! Looking around, he called out.
"Jericho? You're here, too?" Last he saw, Jericho had flown off to try and find someone else, didn't he? "Did you find who you were looking for?"

poke mattix Why didn't it feel like she was doing anything?! This fight was far from fighting the pink plushie she had fought before. Her enemy didn't seem to even flinch. Again, she was able to dodge the others blade, but how long could she keep up her dodges? She flew behind the reaper and tried for another slash ((HP: 25 Damage: 9 - 6 = 3 )) It was certainly not a plushie. It wouldn't explode into a pile of fluffy intestines when enough damage was taken. It wouldn't even dance with joy and make noises to occupy the students attention. All it did was watch the student, seemingly study it as it attacked once again. Was it even trying to hit her, it was hard to tell. HP: 3
Damage to Astra: 0

Before the weapon could reach the fairy, she had ducked below and flew straight at his chest this time, hoping to try and finish him off now before it went any further. But then, could she even finish him off? ((HP: 25 Damage: 8 ))

Mandy felt like there should be music playing. It just felt appropriate for some reason. Despite this though she resisted the temptation to hum because she was quite sure the others would appreciate creepy show-tunes at the moment as much as she would.
It didn't stop her from walking to the beat as she played it in her head though. Mandy herself was in the middle of the group where Mac wanted to be, not that she wouldn't have minded leading but Alwine was safer in the middle and she was sticking by Alwine.
Then voices and the sounds of battle drifted out from up ahead causing her to tense, tightening her grip on her bat and shifting slightly in front of Alwine. Hopefully if they where really quiet they could avoid the figures attentio- MAC. Stepping quicker to get behind him she hissed quietly "Shhhh! I don't care if you know someone up ahead - noise attracts the figures you idot!"

A glint caught her eye, and she turned to pick up the mysterious pendant that had been dropped. It was almost like the one from before! She pocked it with glee, and flew back to the others not caring to much about walking at the moment. "Guys! I defeated it!" she told everyone

Watching as Astra managed to defeat the reaper, Jericho didn't look entirely impressed. There had to have been a reason why the cloaked on didn't touch her at all.
"Yeah yeah," he said with relative disinterest before nodding to Aksaja. He then turned as he heard some other voices coming up the path. Looking down, he saw Mac, Lizzy, and another student he hadn't seen around before. Waving to the group, he nodded to the other reaper as well.
"Yeah," he said while motioning to Mal and Riley by him. Once he did that, he looked over the new girl some. She was wearing pajamas? That reminded him of Holly some... and he had to wonder if that was her normal attire as well.
"Well, now that our cloaked friend decided that this was a waste of time to deal with miss Faerie... can we keep moving?" he asked while glancing back towards the path. Staying in one spot for too long probably wasn't within their best interest.

"Totally agree with you there," Aksaja muttered, glancing about and frowning at the fog. "Standing around in one place is how a lot of people got attacked on the last 'field trip' if I remember right."
With that, he moved back toward the path himself, nodding slightly to the newcomers. "So what is this 'signal' thing, anyone have a clue?" he murmured, squinting into the fog as if that would reveal the answer.

They had left the tent, successfully opening the locked shed due to Sepheran, and left for the Lighthouse - which everyone had agreed on, more or less. By some miracle, she had also managed to cling onto Mac's arm since they left the beach.
"Uh... Well, this walk will take some time..." She did not really know how to answer Mac's question, "But I guess we'll know when we're there...?" Its not like they know why they were on the island or where exactly they are yet; at least the map helped, but they were still lost and stuck on the island. Ahead, she could see more students... Wait, Jericho?
That must mean Riley is close. And if Riley is close, Malodore must be there too.
"Hey Jeric-" Mandy's warning caused her to freeze for a second, but she quickly relaxed again, returning the boil's wave before turning to nod at Mandy, "If they want to come after us, they will anyway..."

Petro had followed his herd towards the lighthouse, hating the fog more and more with each step he took, wishing someone had the FEAR ability to summon the winds and blow all this Jacking fog away. But of course, even if there was someone who could do that, it wasn't as if any of them could use their FEAR power. Hell, he couldn't even shift to his real form.
Coming across another group of students, Petro wasn't certain if having more in their numbers was better or worse. But seeing who it was, Jericho, Riley, Astra, and a couple of other students he wasn't all too familiar with, Petro felt a little less tense. Hearing them speak of Christmas Town had him calming down marginally. At least they were all battle tested, so to speak.
"Moving's good," he nodded, "Lemme keep the rear to look out for anyone trying to catch up," he suggested.

"Oh shut up." Mac returned to Mandy once she started hissing at him. "I would like to point out that I was perfectly silent when one of them attacked me! It doesn't make a jackin' difference." The Reaper sounded a little angry, which admittedly he was; how dare that drowned rat mouth off to him! Clearly, she had to work a little harder to make him fear her again.
"Glad you found them." He said to Jericho then, the irritation completely out of his voice. "All for keeping moving; mind if we join you?" Their growing group was showing up now, and there were certainly a growing group...it probably wouldn't hurt for them to split up even more (and hey, maybe he could shove Lizzy off on them, and get the damned ghoul to stop clinging to him), but for now, safety in numbers. More people for the strange cloak wearers to attack instead of him.

Oh this was just a walking disaster. Trailing along behind Aksaja, Sharra was still altogether undelighted with the situation. Things hadn't much changed for him, what with the diminished fear, but he felt as though his true form was roiling 'neath his skin, as though he couldn't truly control it. It was intensely annoying, like an itch that one was utterly incapable of scratching. Frowning, he brushed shoulders with the dragon boil.
This fog was going to get them all killed. "I'm just as clueless as you are, my friend..." The nergal murmured, shoving his human hand into his pocket with a soft grumble. He'd...loathed leaving his ghoulfriend behind, but she'd insisted...so what was a boil to do?
Hey, at least Riley was here. Somewhere. Maneuvering in this fog was not unlike trying to wade through airborne soup. Messy and it generally left a body feeling distinctly unnerved. Wonderful.

Mandy breathed in sharply as Mac told her to shut up. It wasn't a sign of suprise or shock, no, oh no, it was a danger warning.
Red eyes glinting dangerously she replied tartly, lips pursed. "One, jackass you where. And two so where other people. I wasn't telling you to shut up so you would be safe, I was telling you to shut up so you would stop endangering the group! Just because your the one making the noise doesn't mean they'll target you - it could be anyone they decide to fight and they might not be as lucky in survival as we have been so far."
All of this was said in an angry whisper, she wasn't going to spoil her point by giving into temptation and shouting.

"Thanks Petro, but you should stay close instead of standing by yourself there," She suggested thoughtfully; after all that's happened on the island, she wasn't sure if having someone at the end was a good idea - what if he got taken and nobody noticed, like with Mandy? It would be safer to move together, being 'easier to pick up in groups' beats 'being picked up and nobody knowing'.
At Mac's question to Jericho, Lizzy paused, looking at the group he was with; there were some unfamiliar faces, but she didn't mind the company... Not really anyway. There was... Some boil with long hair, another dragon and... A nergal? She knew everyone else by name at least, and it was kind of nice.
He also probably realized it by now, but she's never gonna let Mac down go - unless someone attacks one of them, anyway.
"Ah, Mandy..." She frowned, starting to wonder if the ghoul had emotional issues - first, she looked like a miserable kitten, then she was smiling, now she's visibly angry. Turning her head to look at her, she frowned, "I don't think keeping quiet will do anything to the risk of being attacked and surviving, but being upset at each other might... The same applies to you." She inclined her head to look at the Reaper with a slight frown.
