De nodded. “Alright we can practice right here.” De laughed. “The fox version is the same as the dog version. You see anything that has four legs can do that. Mmmm well lets take a few steps to end up slightly deeper water and you can try doing this with your front and back paws.” De demonstrated using his front paws slowly. “If you start to sink to far I’ll grab you and pull you up.”

"Oh... I thought the doggy paddle was only for dogs..." Yuna laughed a bit then watched De's demonstration. "Ok... so like this?" She repeated the motion. "Ok! I think I got this!" She leveled herself in the water and took off, so far so good. That is... untill she started to sink in the deeper waters. She tried not to tail and her tail started to swish in the water and she came up again. This seems like too much work.

Perhaps this wasn’t the best way to start.. De sighed and scooped up Yuna so she wouldn’t drown. Holding her he looked at her with raised brow. “mmkay I’m going to set you down slowly and you can keep practicing but I’m still going to hold onto you for a bit ok?” De took a breath to steady his hammering heart. Yuna was so soft and so close like this. It was hard to concentrate.

Yuna blushed as De held her up. She wondered if he could feel her heart start to beat faster under her skin and fur. It be worse if he could feel the knot forming in her gut. "Ok." Yuna continued to paddle. It was a lot easier to do it with help.

Yuna was doing alright so De relaxed his grip on her just a bit. He still couldn’t bring himself to let her go entirely. She is certainly doing her best. “You’re doing just fine Yuna. You have a good form you know that?” De immediately bit his lip as he realized how that might be taken since he was still holding her.

Yuna grinned and smiled, then looked up at him. "Really!? I do?" She was proud of herself, though she couldn't do it with out De, he was a great teacher. Once she got the knack of it she wiggled from him. "Ok! Let me try on my own now~"

De nodded smiling. “ok ok, no need to drag me along. I get it.” De gently let go of Yuna quite proud of her progress. Her wiggling had been quite distraction. He wasn’t sure if he could keep himself from pouncing her if she kept being so cute.

Yuna laughed and swam on her own. She was doing it! She was actually doing it! De was a great teacher. She splashed De with her tail then pounced on him. She was overly happy. Yuna realized what she did immediately and rolled of of him and into the water. She had no idea what came over her. She was blushing more than usual now.

De laughed as Yuna splashed him. He couldn’t help but want to hold her. Than as if magic she was there in his arms on top of him. When she slid off him De reached after her without thinking. He reached her and touched her softly. He didn’t know what to say. “Um.. Yuna?” His mind groped for something to say to her. “That was amazing Yuna. Y-You must be a prodigy or something to pick up swimming so quickly.”

Yuna went red in the face as he complemented her. "Y-you really thing so?" She smiled warmly at him. "Thank you for teaching me... I really couldn't have done it with out you". She tried not to redden more she reached up and kissed his cheek. She quickly looked over at the shore and saw the fish they caught. "Shall we?"

Nodding De confirmed his compliment. He felt a swell of pride as Yuna actually told him he was responsible for her new found ability. Still he knew he couldn’t admit to it. After all she did all the work. “ You did this on your own.. All I did was hold you up. And only that for a short time.” Yuna’s kiss made De want to pounce her. Why did she have to keep being so cute? Her father would skin De alive if he knew what kind of thoughts De was having right as this moment. “Of course.” De followed Yuna to shore grinning every step.

"But you also taught me the movement for it! If it wasn't for that I'd be flailing and sinking!" Yuna couldn't help but to smile around De. He was so kind and sweet... and well... he was cute too. She giggled and blushed as she looked down at the rather large fish. "So how do we eat this?" When ever Yuna had fish her dad had already fixed it for her.

Dethiatin trotted up next to Yuna. He licked her cheek before staring at the flopping fish. “Well we could eat it raw or I could find some spark stones and make a small fire and cook it on a sharp stick. Either is fine by me. Which would you prefer?” De looked at the blue vixen patiently waiting for an answer. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do for her.

Yuna didn't want De to work to hard. "Lets eat it raw." She pawed at the fish. Was she just supposed to bite in? or tear it with her claws first? She didn't want to turn to De right away. She could figure this out. She remembered seeing one of those things the humans sit around and stare at for hours on end, she saw a cat eat a fish and she remembered how it did it. She could do it like that too! Yuna swiped the fish by the tail and lowered into her mouth, It didn't get to far into her mouth when she started to choke on it.

Watching Yuna De was curious what she was up to. He nearly convulsed when Yuna started choking. He bit part of the fish that was exposed and jerked it out of her mouth. He then dropped the fish to check on Yuna, his voice was tight with worry. “Are you alright? ” Yuna didn’t look physically harmed so De forced himself to calm down. “We can eat the fish raw but not all at once.. and we should take the scales off.” He picked up the fish but keep his eyes on Yuna. Sitting on his butt he held the fish in his paws and uses his nails to tear off the scales of the fish. “Do you need to get a drink Yuna?” He was worried she was hurt still even if she looked ok.
