 ϩhadow Ƞight [ ┇am the shadow of the moon at night]
Shadow jumped when she heard a voice that was speaking towards her. She nods. "Sorry, I'm not trying to hide..." She said not knowing really how to explain herself. Shadow took the cloak and puts it on herself. She stood there for a second and stepped out of the shadow. "Sorry. I just am trying to get use to the light but I did not know how." She explained and looked at the women. She's pretty. She admired while looking at her.

"It's fine. Come, sit down." Crimson gestured to the chair opposite of her. " Child, have you ever heard of a Nixifran?" Her eyes lightened to their usual shade. The room grew a bit dimmer as she summoned a tea tray. Crimson would have looked like a man in the clothes she was wearing if it weren't for her long hair. She snapped her fingers and all the vases were filled with blooming bouquets.

Alexander laughed and looked at the girl,"Hehe. You really mean buisness dont you, ma'am? Well, if you want to be amused, you're going to have to lighten up a bit. Enjoy the surroundings. Some students here don't have families and live here with me. It seems to me that you and your 'family' doesn't exactly get along. This is only an option but if you want, you could possibly live here. If you like it here. Anyway, I'm sure you'll make a friend in no time. Just relax and loosen up, we're all different here." He opened a drawer and picked up a schedule. He already knew the girls face and read her profile. She didn't have much of a family. Alexander gave Lolita her schedule and said,"Now, you're room number is on the top right corner. When you get to your room, please relax a bit. You will have a room mate. Oh, if you need to turn to someone, you can always go to me and Miss Crimson. She is the librarian here. Welcome to our school."Alexander stood up and bowed his head a bit and lifted his hat for a moment.  Lolita blinked a couple times. "It is not that we do not get along, but rather that they are immature and humiliating. By this "lighten up" issue, I believe I will decline." She said with a very slight hint of irritation thaty couldn't be told unless you were listening for it. She was slightly disappointed that she was going to get a room mate. "Adieu." She said, turning around and starting to leave.  Alex walked over to Miss Vonswelch's room. He walked inside and saw a girl at the teacher's desk. He looked around and sat in the back. "Hey, where's the teach?" He asked her, bitting the eraser to his pencil, already bored.

Alexander waved goodbye to her and thought, Well, she's going to be a bit of a problem. Oh well. Every year there is always a problem. Alexander took off his top hat, placed it on the table and stared at the flower for a bit smiling with the one eye that was showing. He stood up, walked over to the curtains and opened them letting in some light. He opened the doors to bring in some fresh air. The air felt so calm and nice today. He looked at the rose garden and frowned, seeing their situation. Alex gave her a nervious grin. "Im...uh....17-somewhat years old and I have no experience in magic what so ever. I'm not even a magical being. It just says that I should be here on my schedule." Alex explained, pushing back his bangs to show ruby red eyes for a split second before they fell back in place. Yeah, that was productive.Lolita looked at her schedule. First period was magic. Maybe she could learn something. She walked to the room swiftly, her hat falling over her head multiple times. It was very irritating. She finially got to the class and walked in. She scanned the room with her expressionless face, seeing only two people. She took a seat up front, fighting with her hat to keep it on.

      ☼☾ღ❝𝕸𝖆𝖌𝖎𝖈 𝖎𝖘 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖑❞ღ☽☼Almost instantly, Laryssa's eyes brightened, completely oblivious to the color of his eyes, "So..... you have absolutely no experience in magic...?" she asked, and before giving him time to reply, she stood up straight, bitting her tongue to keep from squealing, and turned to go speak with the other girl. So, one student who has never used magic.... How exciting! She loved teaching all about magic to those who have no idea about it. She stopped in front of the girl at the front of the class, leaning against the desk in the same manner as before, "How old are you and how well is your magic control and knowledge?" she asked, not even trying to hide the excitement in her voice as she hoped that the girl didn't know much about magic either. A childish and cutesy grin had wriggled its way to her lips and she couldn't help but lean a tad bit closer as she waited impatiently for the girl's answer.☼☾ღ❝𝕹𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖌𝖊𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙❞ღ☽☼

Alex groaned, hitting his head agiast the table. "What the hell did I get myself into...? A teacher that looks younger than me.... Does anyone know any vampires with magic? I never had. Case closed. I'm screwed..." He mumbled to himself.Lolita blinked a couple times before answering. "I was instructed to say that I am 17. I am rather knowledgeable about magic and witch-craft, though, I do not exert it often. I prefer my natural abilities opposed to others that require spells." She explained in her emotionless monotone. Her hat fell over her head again. For a second, you may of thought that she was going to explode. But instead, she took it off and put it on her desk.

☼☾ღ❝𝕸𝖆𝖌𝖎𝖈 𝖎𝖘 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖑❞ღ☽☼For a moment, Laryssa just sat there silently, staring at the girl, her face still had its excited grin, but there was no heart to it, it was more like her face had frozen like that and she'd lost all emotion, "Excuse me?" she coughed out after a moment of silence, "Did you just tell me that you were quite educated in magic and then tell me that it's not a natural ability...?" a muscle in her cheek twitched as she tried to keep her smile sweet and easy as she stood up straight once again and walked to the board, her smile gone and a frown had set in place as she turned and faced the girl, arms folded, "Alright, smartass. Tell me what you know about magic, since it's not a 'natural' ability, and why it isn't?" she said sternly, the fact that the girl had said such an insulting comment as if she were stating that someone's shoe was untied, had made Laryssa's young and sweet facade wither away and her truely dark and foul tempered personality come out to play... but only for a bit.☼☾ღ❝𝕹𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖌𝖊𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙❞ღ☽☼

She tried to think if she ever heard of one of them before. "No, I have not. Should I have?" She asked the other. She was a little surprised as everything started to show up. Shadow played with the fabric on the robe as they spoke.

Lolita blinked agian. "What I intended to mean is that what I was educated on magic that required chants and ingredients. I prefer the more, in my opinion, "natural" abilities. Abilities that you can just perform at any given time without having to say a word, making it difficult for the opponant to portray what you are attacking them with. I mean no offence, and I appologize that that was how the statement was apparently delivered. If there are magical abilities that I can utilize in situations that I had just given an example for, then be my guest." She put the hat back on her head, fitting it a certain way on her head to where it stayed there. On the inside, she was satisfied. .

☼☾ღ❝𝕸𝖆𝖌𝖎𝖈 𝖎𝖘 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖑❞ღ☽☼At that Laryssa had to dig her nails into her arms to keep herself from jumping over the desk and tackling the girl. Chanting spells wasn't a natural abilityt? What a laugh! Tch, this girl really pissed Laryssa off, "There is no difference between the two, child. Yes, chanting and potions do invole giving your opponant a chance to ready for the attack, but whether you can utilize the chants and potions is where the real fancy work and trickery comes into play. Chants and potions don't always happen the way they are chanted or planned, that is completely misunderstood on your part. Potions and chants only-" she was in the middle of her little lecture when the warning bell rung, high and loud, scaring the bejezees out of Laryssa and making her jump, yelp, and pull her hat down while she crouched down from the shock. She sat there for a moment before she bounded back up, her face held a completely different expression when she stood and looked at the clock, "Aww~ And I was just getting to the good part~!" she whined like a toddler, then scuttled to her desk as other students poured into the room, quickly filling the desks.☼☾ღ❝𝕹𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖌𝖊𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙❞ღ☽☼

The bell had scared Alex as well, whom was deep in thought. His head flew off the table with a nervious look on his face. He laughed nerviously, then cleared his throat, feeling like an idiot. He sighed, taking out a notebook, and ready to write notes. Getting in trouble on the first day was not an option.Lolita took out a rather large notebook and a pen, ready to take notes. If magic was a natural ability, then why were there other creatures besides witches and demons here as well? She still had difficulty understanding where Ms. Vonswelch was getting at. She dicided not to question it further. She was famous in other schools for being expelled for the same reason, and even getting teachers to quite, get fired, or have nervious breakdowns. Lolita listened intently, hoping to gain information that would explain all of her questions.
