Sumer didn't move, but relaxed just a little, and his tail slowed down. To be honest, Kat was the only one that he would be willing to listen to because she was the only familiar face. Even the doctor was a bit of a stranger right now. He was beginning to suspect that Amaia had somehow been stalking him... Stupid weeping angels... probably helped her. I'm gonna check for cameras in my cave when I get home... Shade was just a total stranger, along with these two random guys.

"Kat, I'm not gonna move.." His millennium gauntlet was vibrating just a little, Sumer was beginning to tap into the cardinal virtue it embodied.. Protection.

" Nice fangs." Kat said pointing at Jake's mouth. The doctor shook his hand as well. " Good to meet you."

Sumer absent-mindedly shook his head as he stared at his hand.
"Duel monsters? What the heck is that supposed to be?" At the mention of the game, his hand reached up, now with a life of its own, and began pulling off his mask.
"WHAT THE-??" Sumer didn't even have time to respond as the mask was ripped off of his mask. Strings and ties of black smoke and energy were torn apart as the mask disintegrated and Sumer fell to his knees, his other hand on his face. "D-dang glove... The thing freaked out for some reason.." For the first time, they could see his face. "Well, I honestly shouldn't be wearing that thing anyway.. Slytha would get mad at me for letting lucifer rise to the surface like that..." He looked down, remembering how slytha had a tendency to mother him... He missed it.
He stood up, knees shaking a little. Only then did he notice that his gauntlet had grown and expanded into a duel disk and was still surrounded in a light fog.
"Doctor, do you have any idea what this is and how it got here?"

((Yeah, maybe with a plot kinda like "the long game?"))

When Sumer woke up after the teleport, he found himself alone in a room with a girl. As he stood up, he got a better look at her. She was wearing a light tan dress, and when she turned to face him, he was shocked by two things: one was a glowing red jewel in the middle of her forehead, and the other was the fact that she looked just like slytha!
"Sir Sumer Christiansen, your opponent today will be Dot Lisall!
Sumer growled loudly. "Afraid to let everyone see your true form, TD? I must say that I admire the anagram pseudonym.. But that won't save you..." He lifted his millennium gauntlet in a clenched fist with the eye facing her. "...when I make this a shadow game!" She only giggled in response.

"What happened to your mask? I was quite fond of it! I liked it better than your real face..." The lights in the room dimmed, and they both were pulled into a pocket dimension. A dimension of darkness. "Or will you try to win WITHOUT Lucifer this time? Come to think of it, he wasn't any help last time, either." Her body began to shrink and stitching appeared in certain places, while her eyes grew into large, lifeless back holes. The jewel popped out of her forehead and emerged on a long black string.
As for slytha, the only way this is going to help her is to give her some company: your soul! a little boy's voice said.

"Well, I'm glad you became your true form... I wouldn't have it any other way when I destroy you, Tails Doll!!" His bronze Duel Disk glowed brightly and now all of the mist was coming from his deck slot.
Aww, so, here's the stakes. You win, I cough up Slytha's soul, if I still can. If I win, I get to consume your soul. Sumer nodded solemnly. Okie dokie! Oh, and one more thing... Our first shadow game was simple. Do you even know how to PLAY duel monsters??

Sumer froze for a moment, unsure of what to say. of course he didn't! He was a hermit! The millennium gauntlet gave off a huge flash of light, and when it faded, a huge change had happened to sumer. His scales, gauntlet, and duel disk were all a bright gold, and his eyes had both become black. completely back.

"would I challenge you if I didn't know how to play, my stitched-up friend?" He said, his voice more serious than normal. "IT'S TIME TO DUEL!"

With those words, a small portion of the mist flew to this open hand and formed itself into a hand of cards.
Heh heh, is that you, Sumer? No tricks, now...
"I am still Sumer, yes. I've just been enlightened to a faw lessons on how to play the game. My millennium gauntlet and I are now perfectly in sync."
Then I'm still GONNA EAT YOUR SOUL! HAHAHAHA!!

Kat and The doctor woke up on opposite sides of the field. " Oh great we're dueling arn't we?" said the doctor annoyed. " You are correct Doctor!" the voice over the PA sounded. Kat kind of knew what she was doing. " Ok Doctor let's duel!" She immediatly played a Dark Magician girl.

Sumer wasn't doing very well at all. He was on his knees, panting heavily, and his 8000 life points had been reduced to a measly 1600. The tails doll had been brought to 2800 life points by Sumer, but was showing no signs of fatigue.
My blue-eyes white dragon doll will attack your face down. 3000 attack points, and the difference is battle damage!
Sumer chuckled and motioned for his face down monster to arise: the millenium shield.
"3000 defense points, TD. They're both destroyed..." Both monsters faded from existence.
Well, then.. That's unpleasant. I'll use monster reborn to bring it back.
Sumer's chuckles stopped. He looked down at his hand and muttered a curse under his breath. He only had his traps and low-level monsters, and his opponent's doll monsters did damage every time they destroyed one of his monsters. He reached to his deck and drew his next card. He had to work hard to keep a straight face: he had drawn magical cylinder. With this, he would obliterate the tails doll with its own attack! He solemnly set the card down. "I have no choice but to end my turn."
Enjoy your last seconds of life, sumer. I'll attack with my blue eyes white dragon doll!
"NO! I protect myself, I protect slytha, and I protect everyone from you!" Sumer raised the trap, and the beam of white light was turned back towards the tails doll. There was an explosion, and the doll fell to the ground, his life points reduced to zero. Sumer finally fell to the ground, completely giving in to exhaustion.

We'll duel again, Sumer. You're immortal and I feed on souls. You protect and I consume. We are created to be rivals... I am not out of this competition, you just slowed me down. As for destroying me, don't make me laugh. The deal was that I give back Slytha's soul, nothing more." The Tails Doll disappeared, and slytha's blade glowed for a moment as her soul returned, and then she changed to her human form and knelt next to sumer. She was crying and hugged him tightly.
"Sumer, you idiot... You've never played this game in your life! You put your soul on the line in a game you've never played!! Were you really that desperate?" Sumer nodded weakly.
"I just found out you were alive about a month ago... and we've already fallen in love. How could I abandon you?"
After that, the two of them both moved beyond words and Slytha did her best to help him recover. "Can we go home now, Sumer?"
"No... I'm afraid that duty calls for a knight once more to banish the Tails Doll from existence."
"It's not what you need to do! That isn't your job, Sumer!"
"Yes, it is. You were there when I took my oath. I cannot allow evil like that to walk the earth..."
"Sumer..." Slytha knew that she would be wrongs to ask him to leave, he couldn't abandon his duty, but she was scared. The stakes Sumer played by were far higher now, and, though he couldn't lose his life, he could lose his soul. She leaned down and kissed him as his body returned to normal and his duel disk disappeared into his gauntlet. The room went dark.

"Sumer Christiansen and Slytha Blackmetal, you will have one hour to recuperate before your next duel. Use it well..." The voice on the PA announced. Slytha looked down at Sumer, who had fallen asleep and curled up with his head in her lap. She smiled and stroked his favorite spot.

"Sumer, I'm going to be right beside you this whole way..." she promised.

Annoyed Shade growled and then turned to look at the empty space where everyone had once been and then took off to the skies making his way to Specs' place to see if he could help him with his current situation.

Meanwhile Valdis walked the halls of the museum after using her abilities to make the person in charge of admittion let her in for free. As she walked she looked at all the objects in the museum dully until finally she reached her destination. "Ah.. Here we are.." She said with a smile as she entered the Egyptian exhibit walking past a few mummy sarcophagus, royal jewels, pottery, medical interments, paintings and scriptures and scrolls until finally she found what she had been seeking. "Ah! The Millennium Scythe! Just what I was looking for!" She chirped and then using her abilities she cloaked the room in total darkness and stole the Scythe. Then making sure she didn't run into trouble with the authorities she used her abilities to erase everyone in the buildings memories of the Scythe, got rid of the exhibit and destroyed all the banners on it. After that she left the Museum with the scythe hidden in a large white cloth wrapped around it and strapped it to her back with a long white cloth over herself as well to act as a cloak to hide her identity better. Smiling at her success she walked the streets getting a few odd looks from a few people that she passed by and then went into a card shop. Behind the counter stood an old man with spikey hair and violet eyes looked at Valdis curiously and wearily as she approached the counter(I only know the original and some of Yugioh Gx stuff I don't know anything about Yugioh 5D's stuff, gomennasa).

"Excuse me sir..?" Valdis called out to the old man once she reached the counter. "Yes? I'm Solomon Mutoh the owner of this shop.. How may I help you?" The old man, Solomon asked. "You sell Duel Monster Cards correct?" Valdis asked. "Yes, that is correct." Solomon confirmed. "Do you happen to know how to play the game..? You see I had an incident recently and I have.. forgotten a few things.. One of these things is how to play duel monsters and I know I was going to compete in the upcoming tournament so.. I was wondering if perhaps you knew someone who could help re-teach me the game.." Valdis told Solomon who's eyes became one on pity as he heard her reason for coming there. "Ah! Yes! In fact I could teach you the game!.. However.. If I do that then I'll have no one to mind the shop... Hmm.. I know! Yugi..! Yugi! Yugi!! Get down here my boy! I have a job for you!" Solomon called out and then quick pace of foots steps could be heard from the floor above and then a a short boy with spikey 3 tone hair and a strange golden triangle necklace around his neck that had the same eye as the Scythe and the gauntlet on it who was apparently Yugi appeared from the stair case and stepped into the room.

"What is it Grampa? You said you had a job for me?" Yugi asked. "Yes! You see this nice lady here? She had a bit of an incident and she needs someone to re-teach her on how to play Duel Monsters. You up too it?" Solomon asked Yugi who nodded. "Yeah! I think I can handle that!" Yugi said confidently. "Great now get too work!" Solomon ordered and then Yugi turned to Valdis. "Hi! I'm Yugi Muto and I'm going to teach you how to play Duel Monsters! Nice too meet you Miss..?" Yugi said and then inquired about her name. "I am Amaia but please call me Valdis.." Valdis said politely. "Ok! Valdis let's get to work! But first let's go to the park! You see I'm supposed to meet some of my friends there and they know how to play Duel Monsters as well so I'm sure they can help both of us out!" Yugi said and Valdis nodded. "Alright! Lead the way Master!" Valdis chirped and Yugi blushed at her calling him "Master". "R-Right! Let's go!" Yugi stuttered in embarrassment making Valdis laugh softly as the two left the shop and made their way to the park.
