Just as quickly as he had struck, Umbreon was gone, and reappeared, landing on the ground. He didn't have much time to gather his food, fave for a couple of strides before the fly attack struck the Umbreon in the side, with a surprised yelp he was knocked to the floor, hard.
Faleen glanced over to the attack what Ire was doing after Umbreon got hit.
For a moment she just stood there, a soft frown on her face as she considered options. Might be best to slim the odds.
"Umbreon, Dark pulse on the Jolteon!" she called to him
Umbreon forced himself heavily off the ground, one eyes still closed.
The Ghost had attacked the Jolteon, and now Umbreon added his own. using his Dark pulse to send waves of darkness from his body toward Jolteon

The battle was quite a learning experience, and Mau was more than impressed with Faleen's pokemon. It preformed rather well working in tandem with an unfamiliar pokemon. He was even more surprised when Ire fainted. Though in the end, Ran proved she had been more battle experienced and after Nuu went down, the Umbreon followed. But that had been a most satisfying match for Mau. He recalled Ire and Nuu, and pulled a berry out for Ran as he smiled at Faleen.
"I think that there was a true testament to how well you've trained your umbreon. Being able to pair up with a pokemon at random and do so well." He offered a faint laugh to the blond woman. "I don't believe that you hadn't had experience with pokemon until you came here." He smiled.

Not to pleased that Umbreon had ended up fainting, she pulled her pokeball out to return the dark type.
She knew that Mau was an Agent, and very good at training, but it still bothered her, when her strongest pokemon went down in battle.
At his words though, Faleen looked up, blinking a couple of times, still holding Umbreon's pokeball in her hand.
"... Thank you" she said, sounding a little surprised to hear this. "I've been working hard with them."
She didn't know if the effort she put in was good enough... but maybe this was a sign that she's not to far off from being something that would truly be useful for Team Rocket, with his help maybe.
