The bellow that the ground type let out was much more low tone and pained then the others he had previously cried in rage. The two dark types hit him, nearly simultaneously, the attacks struck deep, and they struck hard, the legendary power of an Absol's precision.
The massive pokemon groaned deep, wavering away from thee hunters, in an attempt to gather his bearing again, but by now, blood was spilling off of the pokemon, soaking the sand.
Absol landed, at a safe distance, not taking his eyes off of their target as the Hipodawn rolled his eyes back into his head and with one last stagger, tumbled into the sand, still half buried in the sad he usually swam so freely in. Still, Absol was cautious about approaching it, his eyes blinked slowly, and his head lowered, staring intently at the pokemon they had just taken down.
Faleen looked away from the distant dark desert, and over to the Aulus, when he asked if she was coming. Faleen gave a soft nod "Yes, I am" If he had a dark type, she would be interested to see it. with Umbreon close to her, she moved her black boots briskly through the sand to catch up with the newer grunt.

Tortie landed lightly a short distance from Absol, teeth bared and hackles raised. Hummm, it looked like they'd finished it but you couldn't be too careful. Ready to leap back if needs be the patchy pokemon slunk forward and - after a short pause - sank her teeth into the beast's thick neck. Looked like she was eating well tonight after all, and in good company too. Turning to Absol with blood soaking the fur around her jaws she grinned and commented; good.>
Still muttering and cursing Aulus strode onward; the sounds of battle had faded now, but whether that was a good thing or a bad thing he had yet to discover. Either way Tortie was getting the bollocking of a lifetime for worrying him like this.
