When Shun avoided the grab the guard brought up his arm, allowing it to take the brunt of the assassin's attack. While the blade managed to slice into the flesh of his forearm it didn't seem to phase the guard much outside of making him very angry. Drawing back his other hand he made a swipe at Shun's face with his clawed hand, a growl bubbling up in his throat as he struck out.
Hearing the shuffling, Ginji took a step back and into the room with the stairs. Currently Shun was his obstacle if he wanted to strike at the person standing in their way. Doing his best to calculate how far the assassin and the guard were from him Ginji knelt down and pressed a hand to the floor. The tendrils of ice that had been forming in his hand shot across the floor, between Shun's feet where they instantly flares upward into a spike. The attack came close to Shun but only managed to hit the guard, though the attack only managed to graze his leg. His constant shifting had managed to pull him out of the way of having his leg skewered.

Eyes widening as he saw the clawed hand coming for his face, Shun ducked down, feeling the attack swipe across the top of his head. He likely lost a few hairs there. Right around then, he saw the spike shoot up, narrowly missing him. It was a little too close for comfort, but he had to keep moving.
The bear likely wouldn't be able to move as easily with his leg injured, but his arms were still an issue. Stepping forward, he slashed out at the guard's gut with one hand before following up with an attempt to stab him in the chest with the other.

The guard let out a grunt as the ice sliced through his leg by his knee. The wound was pretty deep but it still wasn't enough to take him down. He was about to make another attack on Shun who happened to still be in front of him but the assassin had already made an attempt of his own. Bringing his already injured arm up he took the stab that was intended for his chest but the slash across the gut hit its mark.
Blood pouring down his front from the wound he let out an angry roar trying to grab for the blade still buried in his arm before the boy could pull it away. At the same time he took a step forward to ram his shoulder into Shun. While his movements were a little slow due to his injured leg they were still rather powerful.
It seemed his attack had only managed to slow the man only slightly. Ginji now realized they had a bit of a problem on their hands. Standing back to his feet he produced a long sword out of ice, holding in firmly in his left hand. "Use shadows!" If they were able to cover the area in darkness Ginji could move more freely. Not to mention the guard would be at a disadvantage.

It seemed this guy wouldn't be easy to take down at all. With his dagger still lodged into the bear's arm, Shun didn't really have a chance to pull away before he took the brunt of the ram. Grunting, he hit the ground with quite the thud. It was enough to stun him for the moment.
When he heard the wolf's words, he didn't have time to use the syringe. Instead, he nicked the side of his leg with his remaining dagger. The moment his blood touched the floor, darkness billowed out to fill a part of the area. In the meantime, he was scrambling back to his feet to try and recover.

As soon as the darkness filled the area Ginji started to move. The guard's movements were suddenly unsure and uneasy now that he could no longer see so it was the perfect opportunity to strike. Forming with the darkness around him Ginji suddenly sank into nothing to suddenly appear behind the guard.
With a quick thrust he sank his blade of ice in between the guard's shoulder blades. It seemed to catch the man off guard as he staggered forward, a struggled noise escaping his mouth. In a last attempt to attack the guard lashed out at the man who had just attacked him and managed to swipe Ginji's arm. The wolf gave a slight hiss before he vanished back into darkness to reappear where he had been before, now out of range.
The guard started to turn back around but the last blow had slowed him considerably though he still seemed to be hanging in there if only barely. He started to take a step but from the blood loss and the wounds he fell to his knees, his vision growing dark.

Now back to his feet, Shun watched as the guard struggled to remain standing. Stepping closer, he went to roughly pull his dagger out of the man's arm finally and sliced out at his throat in an attempt to quicken the process. The assassin didn't want any last ditch attempts out of this guy as they tried to get past.
The moment he struck out, he called the darkness back. They would likely need to hurry up at this point, before someone ended up discovering the body out in the middle of the hall.

The guard didn't have enough energy to keep Shun from reclaiming the knife. When he went to block it was already to late. The knife sliced cleanly through his throat, a river of red running down his front before he finally collapsed face down on the floor.
When the darkness finally fell back, Ginji started to pick up his pace. As with Shun he knew they needed to move. The wound on his arm wasn't much of a concern at the moment though the blood that was running down his arm didn't look normal....in fact it looked black.
Without saying a word Ginji made his way toward the door that would taken them outside. He didn't bother to reclaim his weapon, it would melt into nothing but water. Pushing the door open slowly, the wolf peeked his head out listening but it didn't seem like anyone was near. "It's clear." He said softly before moving through the door.

Glancing back at the wolf, Shun noticed the blackish blood that seemed to come from his wound. That wasn't exactly normal, and as he quickly made his way through the hall, he had to wonder what this guy was. A demon perhaps? It didn't really matter right now, seeing how they had to get the hell away from this place.
He could speculate later on.
For the time being, the assassin kept his daggers at hand should another encounter arise.

Once outside Ginji wasted no time making his way to the fence. The section they were at was in a bit of a blind spot but that meant it would be patrolled more frequently which meant they needed to hurry. Thankfully the shadows were a bit thicker in this area than on the other side so he was able to get passed the fence on his own this time.
Once in the clear, the wolf waited for his companion just on the other side. The thick black liquid running from his wound had suddenly come to a stop, it looked as though it was shifting and moving on its own. Like it was alive.

Once he was at the fence, Shun took out the syringe and dripped blood on the other side. The moment it had landed, he poofed on over, letting out a breath. Since the gates weren't near where they were, it'd be harder to be pursued by anyone inside at this point. He still didn't want to dally should things go awry at the last moment.
Looking over at the wolf, he furrowed his brow as he could have sworn he saw the blood shifting.
Actually... now that he thought about it, he had seen something similar. Riyo. Perhaps this guy was a demon after all. Though, he did find it interesting that he was able to use both darkness and ice. From what he knew, it was fairly rare for someone to be able to take on multiple elements. Perhaps that was why Suto took interest and recruited this man. That... and he really didn't seem to question anything.. and was practically a walking database.
Shaking his head to himself, he began moving towards where he had parked his bike, sheathing his daggers once again.

Ginji tilted his head slightly at the light pause that Shun had. He couldn't help but feel that the assassin was thinking about something but being unable to read facial expressions he was at a bit of a disadvantage for guessing. Not too concerned about it the wolf started to follow the young assassin before holding out his hand. The black blood that had been running down his arm was actually starting to pull back into the wound at this point, like his body was reabsorbing it.
"I'm going to need that file you kept." Ginji said simply. He may be blind but he wasn't dumb. He could heard what Shun had been doing and knew he hadn't put everything in the bag.

Seeing the black blood seep back into the wound was a little strange to witness in the very least. It was something he was very unfamiliar with and that made Shun a little uneasy. While he could guess it wasn't something too common, there was no telling when he'd have to face someone like the wolf (Or the wolf himself..). He would have to see what information he could dig up on this sort of thing later. The assassin liked to have as much knowledge of a variety of beings and their weaknesses so he could easily exploit them should they be harder to bring down than the average human.
And if someone could... retain their blood, that would be quite troublesome to deal with.
Pausing as he saw the outstretched hand, he grimaced before reluctantly handing over the file. He'd just have to say things verbally to Mitsu when he had the chance.

Taking the file as it was offered to him, Ginji shuffled the bag around and put it away. By the time he was done securing the files it looked like the black liquid had completely drawn back into the wound and closed it up. Once the transaction was complete he moved to the shadows and as if he was stepping into a doorway he disappeared.

Shun's gaze had shifted to the wound, noting that it had now closed. This didn't seem like a normal regeneration ability for sure. When the wolf disappeared, he spent little time to reach his bike, removing his mask along the way. The drive back to the dorm was a long one as he now had a fair amount on his mind. The mysteries surrounding the masked wolf, Mitsu's parents and... well... Mitsu in general.
With all of this, he doubt he was going to be getting much sleep that night.

The next day happened to be on the weekend and Mitsu found herself sitting outside trying to do her homework, enjoying the spurts of warm weather that the beginning of spring had to offer. It had been rather cold lately but today the sun was out which warmed up the air nicely.
Staring at the same math formula for what seemed like forever she just couldn't seem to wrap her mind around it. Usually this stuff was rather easy but lately she found herself struggling with what used to come to her without a problem. With a sigh she set her notebook and text book on the ground beside her and laid back in the grass staring at the sky through the bare tree limbs that hovered over her.
