She was late, something that usually happened but... what else was she supposed to think when she got the invite, all negas meet in the arcade? Now...Toki loved games. Loved arcades and games and computer games... but she was just not the best person in a group of people. She usually hid it pretty well, since being in the negaverse she had gotten better about it gradually. But she expected random snapping to occur if she was ganged up on, it happened.
The brunette entered the arcade, passing by a 'private party invite only!' sign. Really now, it was clear Scheelite made that sign... it screamed him.
She was shocked he did not paint the walls of the place in radioactive paint... then again, she would keep ehr mouth shut so she wouldnt give him any ideas.
"Hey guys." She shrugged her way in, and moved towards people she knew... aka Demy and Zink. She had her hands in her pockets, not looking exactly comfortable.

"He's just touchy." Ever shook his head a little, tipping his head and trying to reach some kind of decision. Stay in the relative safety of where he was, or venture deeper into the crowd and actually get his introductions done..? For the moment, he opted to stay there, and tried not to think too hard about just how young his current companions were.
"Should have seen how pissed he was earlier, made me throw out all that beer..." He made a face and was about to add more when the girl approached, derailing his train of thought; the hey guys definitely not directed at him, but again he stuck out his hand in offering, the gesture almost automatic.
"Ever. New thorn in the side." It was actually strange how much more confident he was here and now, than he'd been in the dream. Out of uniform, as opposed to in it. There, he had wriggled and mostly kept his mouth shut; here, not so much...

Upon Surin introducing herself Genevieve's eyes went wide- How could have not recognized the woman? It wasn't like this was the teacher would have to impress most in her last two years of school or anything. Shaking her head, she held out a hand. "It's nice to see you and get to meet you- Outside of school, I mean." Normally for the teen this meant prime opportunity to suck up, show off, and get herself as close to the top of the "teacher's pet" list as she could-- But remembering where she was and who the party was for stopped her. Here they were all equals. If she didn't feel fierce devotion to this new group already she'd certainly be an advocate now. Looking between Nyasa and Suri(did she call her Miss Ellis or Dr. Ellis?) she clasped her hands behind her back. "So- Fried pickles huh?"
Reaching a hand out she snagged one as well and popped it between her lips. Not a fan of salty foods most of the time, but always a fan of the word 'fried', Genevieve wasn't sure what to expect of the snack. It was surprisingly good and as she gulped down the bite and nodded. "That was surprisingly tasty- Oh, and thank you for not making me the only person that thought to bring homemade treats... I was afraid I'd look cheap by not buying something." Since their last encounter she was feeling much better and she really wanted to show Lt. Mica how little she had scarred but didn't want to just lift her shirt in the middle of the arcade... So she was glad that the diversion had been presented.

Toki had not yet made the connection between Dream Ilmenite and Civi Ever, so in her eyes this was someone new entirely. She did not know the civi forms of a lot of the people in the room, so she did not know he was new until he spoke up. Reaching a hand out of her pocket, she gripped and shook the mans hand back. "Toki, resident old pain in the a**."
She couldn't help but snort, catching the bare end of that conversation as she let go of Evers hand. "Im guessing we are talking about Zac?" She said, not catching the name of who was pissed... but figuring it was him. it sounded like something he would do. "Hi, boss!" She said acting semi innocent, though she really was just being mischievous as she addressed the shorter general. he had a hell of a temper at times!

Crimson eyes scanned their surroundings as he made small circles from the arcade games back to the refreshment table. Teddy's Rockstar contribution did not go unnoticed as he noted the amount had decreased since he first placed them down. His own energy drink was half-full and he was starting to feel the effects of the caffeine kick in. Good to have such a boost after the grueling battles of Elysion. As he was casually walking about the room, he noticed a blonde making his way to greet everyone. This must be the host he was informed about when he received the invitation. Since he hadn't really tried to talk to anyone, he figured this would be the best time to get acquainted, especially since there seemed to be a crowd of unknown faces surrounding the host. Taking another small sip, he approached them and offered out his hand in greeting to Demy, Zac, Ever, and Toki.
"Thank you for the invitation. My name is Ted or perhaps I should say Lt. Esperite."

"Dude you had beer? Zee brought booze back to the dorm once! But I drank it, it was awesome."
Yes Zink he hadn't forgotten that time you blackmailed the booze off of that student and he had totally faceplanted right into your lap. All in all he had considered that a good night.
"HI TOKI!"
Oh yeah, new draping time. Demy removed himself from Ever and Zac to drape on Toki next. Really, it was his way of being super amazing friendly and loving on people. He's harmless guys! Really!
The first thing Demy noticed about the next to approach was that he had amazing taste. Alright, a fellow Rockstar drinker! FINALLY!
"Hey there! I'm Demy, better known as Captain Scheelite! That's Lieutenant Fayalite, Lieutenant Ilmenite, and that over there is General Zinkenite."
There, look! He was even being good and introducing everyone before getting sidetracked.
"I am so glad someone else drinks Rockstar. You are awesome -just- for that man!"
Completely sidetracked.

"It was NOT awesome! Don't tell him that!! And it was not -BEER-" His face was flushed so dark his cheeks were almost purple for a moment.
He had to bite himself back from saying that Demy face planted, yes it might have embarrassed someone else, but with Dem involved the only person who'd end up embarrassed (more) would be him.
"Ever...Ilmenite, Toki you already met but that there, is Zircon, she's on our team as well, Vivianite isn't here, at least not at the moment but you'll be meeting her too I promise you that."

"Likewise," Suri responded curtly to Genevieve, shaking her hand firmly once before drawing back inwards, still somewhat distracted by the lights and sounds and a certain captain ranting and raving in the background about some energy drink. Her attentions, however, returned to the present when Nyasa offered her food.
Suri had never seen a fried pickle. Hell, she'd never even heard of one. Nevertheless, she couldn't call herself a southern girl if she wasn't willing to try something fried, especially since one was offered to her. Cautiously, she grabbed one for herself, taking an experimental bite.
To put it politely, it wasn't to her tastes.
Masking the inevitable disgust, Suri did her best to finish the snack quickly and poured herself a drink to cover the taste, returning with a cup of water cradled close to her mouth for several shallow sips. She lifted a hand in greeting to General Zin--no, Zac--, who seemed to be speaking to someone she'd never met. The unfamiliar boy was both curious and intimidating at the same time: after all, he had just become both family and competition. She muttered a polite excuse from her current conversation and crossed the room, cup in hand as she looked from Zac to his friend.
"Good afternoon, General," she said with a nod in his direction, her eyes still sizing up the new recruit. "New blood, I see?"

"Wonderful to meet all of you. Thank you for the invitation, I have to commend you for putting so much work into this gathering. This is a wonderful idea to bring everyone together under one roof, Captain Scheelite. I'm glad to see my taste in energy drinks is well received. Rockstar happens to be my favorite, but I also enjoy some of the flavored Monster energy drinks, just as long as they aren't diet or zero calorie. I despise the after taste mixed with the fruit flavoring. Beer, eh? Now that sounds like a real party!"
Teddy scanned the room once over. No one new seemed to arrive since he last did a stroll. It also seemed that everyone was becoming better acquainted, at least in a civilian sense. He honestly felt a bit awkward at seeing everyone in their civilian personas. Something about it made them less impressive. Teddy knew he would have to respect them nonetheless, but it certainly made it much more difficult to judge rank. Best keep a grin and a smile ready for anyone. Hunger started to set in, but he couldn't bring himself to try one of the platters that the others had brought in. It was just too exposed, too unsanitary.

"Did someone mention beer?" Varete remarked, as she walked into the room slinging around a twelve pack of beer.
Her hair was styled with light curls, a leopard top, black tights and a pair of long boots. A bit too formal for what you'd wear to an arcade but she had been with a few friends at the club earlier. When she had received the text from Demy, she had rushed down here without stopping to change.
Desite unfamiliarity with arcades, she was immediately at home with the crowd, noise, and flashing lights. Spotting Demy on the scene, "Yo Demy!" She called out, with a smile. She recognized only a few, but there was a lot of new faces among the crowd. Most of them complete strangers, tied only by the fact that they were all a part of the Negaverse.
Making her way through the crowd to Demy, Varete was impressed by the number of new recruits, "Is this everyone here?" She whispered.

Nyasa wasn’t a fan of cooking, especially not frying – too messy – but for fried pickles she was willing to do it. That didn’t mean they were for everyone; she wasn’t fooled by Suri’s reaction.
With that, Nyasa was at a bit of a lost. She’d checked on her patient, offered food, and now wasn’t sure what to discuss. Small talk was not her strong suit.
“ So… you alright? Healed up fine, didn’t break anything in the latest mess?”
Talking about Elysion was probably counter-productive to the whole idea behind the party, but at least it gave her something to talk about. It was either that, hope someone else came up with a discussion topic, or play a game.

There were, abruptly, what should have been an overwhelming number of people. It made Ever grin, sudden and sharp, offering his hand to Suri first -- as she was one of the few people there who seemed, well, out of high school.
"Ever. Hi -- " There might have been more, certainly, but his eyes roamed onto the approaching girl weighed down with her bundle of beer, and Ever huffed out a noise. His smile didn't fade out, but his tone was touched with just a hint of annoyance.
"See, Zac? Made me toss mine for nothing..." Although, whatever Varete had brought was probably better than the swill he'd been bringing.

((SORRY GUYS I've been busy ;0; gonna move to the game section because next week I am pretty much dead for RP time and I wanna be sure I can leave the party either done or at point it won't need me before I go <3 Also want to take a moment to thank EVERYONE who has expressed interest in this! It's something I hope to do on a semi regular basis <333 )) Demy was content to let the party go on for a little bit without his interuption, minus his mingling -of course-. Like a good host the blonde made his rounds constantly, urging the others to get food or drink, encouraging them to hop on the games and simply unwind. They needed this, the time away from war and death. Hell, just a chance to be kids (or young adults, for the older ones!) Eventually though he had to interrupt again, because he had the best thing -ever- planned. The blonde broke away from his current company and hopped up onto the table once more to address the 'troops'. "Hey guys! Come on over kay, I got something awesome to share!" He waited a moment, fidgeting anxiously from his perch while the others approached. Once he was satisifed they were close enough to hear his announcement he continued on. "It's laser tag time guys! Okay, you, you you you...you and you! You're on red team, the others are on the green team! You can grab armor and a gun over there by the entrance, make sure to grab your color! Go on in and have fun!" He was off, armor and gun in his hand before they could really argue with him. The hyperactive captain disappeared into the darkness of the laser tag arena, waiting for anyone else to join. "ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" Zink called after the vanishing Demy...
Lazer tag??! He couldn't play Laxer tag, well maybe he could but he'd never done it before. "W... " he started and fumbled with the equipment. "Has anyone DONE this before?
Oh great... on the opposite team from Ilmenite, he could see where this was going to go... hmmm... Sera on the other team too though, ok this MIGHT be fun.
Well... might as well be the first one in... He picked up what was likely to soon be a bruised ego and headed in.

Laser tag? Well, Nyasa supposed that the hyper captain could have chosen a worse game. As far as she could tell, laser tag was all about stealth and shooting people. It sounded like something she should be able to pick up quickly.
“ A chance to shoot people without repercussions. Should be interesting.” Nyasa said as she shrugged on a red vest and gave the plastic gun a practice shot. Seemed serviceable, if a bit delayed.
Giving a single backward glance to Genevieve, Nyasa entered the arena and quickly tried to lose herself amongst the obstacles, looking for a good place to snipe from.
