[ X_Bleeding Roses_X ] Finally finding out what exactly the dolls where Mandy made a mental note to do some research on them when they got back, or find out more on the trip. "Not many people know what I am, Drop Bears aren't that common, specially with how most of us stick to our forests." Kasumi was somewhat familiar with haunts - she'd done a great deal of research once she gained enough personal stability in Halloween. She'd had a very strong interest in herself and other ghosts, but had never actually met a Haunt until now. Nor a Drop Bear! "If you don't mind me saying so, Miss Mandy, I do adore your ears! I'm not familiar with Drop Bears, but you yourself, and Miss Alwine, are very polite! It's a pleasure to meet the two of you." So this field trip would yield more and more good experiences, and they weren't even on the boats yet! The fact that the doll created tapes, it was so fascinating. She'd heard of the practice but hadn't met another onryo. "Are we all vindictive?" Kasumi frowned. She was afraid Miss Alwine wouldn't like the truth, but who was she to lie about the whole meaning of an onryo's existence? As a Haunt, Alwine was sure to understand, right? "Vengeance is our entire purpose, I'm afraid." Kasumi threw up her hands in an apologetic gesture. "That is to say, we're not all focused on that! I mean, I myself am not. I don't even remember what I'm supposed to be vengeful for, to be honest." The ghost did ponder why the doll was making tapes, but she could always ask about it later. Who was she to deny a fellow onryo's needs? 'twould be silly.

Night sighed as he barely listened to the Secretary brief them on the field trip come to be. Not like Night didn't like the field trips or anything, the last one had been on a train if he remembered right. They had gone to Christmas town to visit the Sandy claws. It wasn't pleasant and ended up with Night stepping on a poor little elf. Well the thing was convenient to step on so it didn't really matter.
What bothered Night was that he was going to be on a boat. A BOAT....ON WATER.
"Why the water!!!" Night voiced came out high pitchy, a voice only heard when someone truly was terrified of something. Which in point, He was terrified of water. TERRIFIED. It was like, the worst trip ever. It had to be.
His tail twitched with anguish and distress, his ears laid flat on his back as he was handed the sheet for the boat assignments. He didn't know a single one of the students on there which meant he couldn't cling to anyone. Which meant toughing out the trip by himself. Oh it was going to be hard unless he mentally broke down and ended up suffocating one of the other students with his death grip.
"Darn it!" Night shook his paper in anger.

Amrita had actually been there in time to get a seat, if she wanted to. In the end she decided to stay back against a wall, not wanting to get in on the turf wars that broke out pretty quickly. She didn't regret her choice.
Her boat assignment called out, she was torn. On one hand, she had TAHKI! ...And Jericho and Malodore. But on the other, no Lizzy or Charlie.
The little Undead girl was trying in vain to spot the people on her boat that she knew, but when she spotted Jericho and raised her backwards hand to wave him over....
"JeEEEEK!" Lizzy's text rang through her eyePhone, effectively scaring the wits out of the poor ghoul. Again. Flailing a bit, she pulled the phone out of its hiding place on her person, reading the text and doing her best to answer back promptly, completely forgetting Jericho, at least for the moment.
"i n the a uditorrium" Was her text response, which was entirely unhelpful.

West, like a handful of his fellow students, was rather miffed at the whole seven o'clock in the morning boarding thing, but he didn't dwell on it for too long. Amityville had been venturing into utterly boring territory lately, with a very few notable exceptions, and he was looking forward to leaving the school, however temporarily. While he wasn't expecting to meet any awesomely badass ninjas like Jingleberry on a boat, this trip was bound to be more fun than sitting around watching his wounds heal. He was one of the first into the room, a consequence of the ridiculously early hour his summons had been delivered, and the demon had already examined the assignment list, shrugged, then found a seat and took it, well before the majority of his classmates arrived. By the time the others began trickling in, West was napping in his darkened corner, his cast-encased arm tucked carefully against his body.
Surprisingly, it wasn't Aldara shrieking about her luggage that woke him, but Alwine's cries instead. He watched as more and more students read the boat assignments, hoping for some actual anger amidst the whining. Anyone? Throw a bone to the wrath demon? No? Sigh. Boring. This trip was going down just in time, it seemed, right before West lost his mind.

At the mention of how stressed Alwine had been when she'd first discovered the tape Mandy turned and gave her a small smile to reassure her, that hadn't exactly been a fun time for either of them.
When Kasumi mentioned her ears Mandy felt slightly conflicted over whether it was ok. Usually people where calling them cute which was NOT GOOD. She was a monster ok? But Kasumi had only said she adored them which she guessed she could accept. As long as she didn't say cute. Besides the compliment on Mandys manners, something that really didn't happen often, might have softened her up a little. "Thank you, hopefully this is meeting is a good sign for the trip"
Well, it was already actually, now she knew three people on her boat.
Mandy was then distracted from the discussion by the arrival of a boil who claimed to be on Alwines boat. Staring at him intently, and possibly a bit creepily she breathed in deeply, absurdly thinking for a moment she might be able to smell and bad intentions, before jotting decisively. "You. Look after Winnie on this trip and make sure she's safe and has a fun time or I'll track you down and rearrange your insides. Ok?"
A little bit of threatening was ok by her. As long as she had a small bit of reassurance Alwine was going to be safe, she wasn't going to trust the staff after all.

So far, he hadn't had a great deal of luck locating the others, though he kept a sharp eye out for them still. Then, he spotted Amrita waving him over. He was heading towards her, but paused as she gave a shrieked something that wasn't quite his name. Had she forgotten it?
The question was cleared up as he saw her pull her eyephone out. The little undead must have been startled by it or something along those lines.
Grinning once more, he closed the gap to reach her.
"Hey, have you seen any of the others on our boat?" he asked. He was also a little curious of their professor. While he had heard of the guy, he never took the botany classes. Plants were generally not something of his interest.

Aurian sat quietly through the announcements. Her faintly-glowing eyes darted back and forth, while the rest of remained still, trying to take in the students around her. The problem with being brand new was not knowing anyone... though at least she was spared the disappointment of some others at finding they were not on the same boat as their friends.
"No weapons," had her head snapping up, eyes blazing. Thankfully the voice-over continued that this didn't apply to Reapers, though they should keep their weapons sealed. Aurian pursed her lips. Fiddling with her double-ended scythe, she decided she could deal with that. No minipets was less of a worry to her, though the small Chaos minipet on her shoulder hissed its opinion of that. One hand reached up and patted him idly. She received a swift bite for her trouble. (Though it was a soft bite, all things considered, so she simply wiped the excess blood away and accepted it as a lovebite.)
Once the initial rush had died down, she stood and readjusted her many belts before making her way over to the list. Teal fingernails ran from the top of the list... all the way down to the bottom, pausing on one of the last names and tapping it. So, it was Boat Eight, then. The other names listed for her boat were not at all familiar. She hoped they were friendly.
"Ah well," she sighed. Then she checked the teacher for Boat Eight. Arel. Despite her best efforts, she frowned. That was the angry man who'd made the announcement, she thought. This... might not go so well. "Oh dear. Now I really have to hope the other students are helpful." Because the teacher certainly would not be.

"Vengeance..." Alwine glanced down at the Doll before picking her up and staring at her button-black eyes. "Don't do any of that to me, okay? Though, I guess I'm already a victim..."
Alwine shrugged her shoulders again and gave Mandy a reassuring pat on the arm.
And then Mac came over and Mandy... threatened him? What?!
"Dee!! I am so sorry!" Alwine shook the poor Samara Doll around in a flail, trying to somehow cover up the dialogue that just happened. "She-- I-- it's a pleasure to meet you!!" That last phrase sounded very desperate... and very loud.
"Please don't mind her! I mean, I... ah... oh, dear. I'm so sorry!!"

"Seven in the morning?!" Was it possible that she could look any more horrified right now? Probably. Best that she not really ask that question. Not with how this was starting out.
LW followed Ren's finger and looked at the name he was tapping at. It was Carry's name. At his words, she didn't try to weasel out of answering. "Yes." She glanced at him, meeting his golden gaze. "That's Pride. At least I'll have her on the boat with me~" LW added, looking back at the list. Her eyes just couldn't pull away from Sarias' name. But she knew that if things got bad, Carry would back her up.
Scanning the list again, she felt her stomach drop even more. Yet another demons name she knew was on her boat. Riley. Looking at the other boats, she felt a small part of her ease at knowing that Ren and Gabrian were on the same boat too.
"Yeah....interesting." She mumbled. Her tail curled around both their legs. Gabrian was going to have a heart attack when he saw the list. "Ren...? Ren what do I do!" Obviously, she couldn't fight the ghoul. And they were going to be stuck and a Jacking boat together! On top of this, she couldn't even have her trusty hazmutt with her for comfort.
She watched as he pulled out his skellyphone and it made her think to look around for the others. Gabrian was bound to show up anytime now. He'd been awaiting this list anxiously. Alessa and Jove were hopefully lurking about somewhere in the auditorium as well. The she-wolf sniffed at the air, hoping to catch one of their scents.
And where was Carry? LW wanted to meet up with the demoness once before tomorrow morning. They could discuss things. Like safety precautions to take. And what to do in case their boat sank. Maybe she should text her?

[Over AIM to make calling easier. 8D;]
Dragain When her phone vibrated, the ghoul flipped it open before it could ring, eagerly clicking on the 'new message'. She stared at the text for a while before giggling - at least she could understand it. Looking around, she tried to look for Amrita but ended up calling her instead, realizing that there were just too many students around for her to spot one person. Enoh "H-hi?" Amrita stuttered uncertainly into the phone, staring up at Jericho despite talking on the phone; she didn't know she was being rude. "Lizzy? We're not on the same boat!" She lamented to her friend. Dragain "I knowwwww." Lizzy whined, pouting although Amrita was not there to see it, "Where are you now? I'll come look for you!" Enoh There was a little pause as Amrita looked around, and the best answer she could offer was "With Jericho." She didn't know where exactly she was, not well enough to describe it! Dragain "That... Makes it easier, actually," Lizzy pushed herself off the wall and looked around; the boil was tall, she should be able to spot him if she tried... Ah! She smiled, spotting red hair and horns above the crowd of students. Making her way there, she remembered that she was still on the phone and quickly added, "I'll be right over!" Before ending the call and running over.

Being threatened wasn't on Mac's list of possible outcomes of this meeting. Especially not by a furry-eared Monster girl that he wasn't even talking to. His pure surprise was clear on his face, his black eyes locked on the creeper-bear that was a good five inches shorter than he was, unable to resist leaning back the slightest bit as though to protect himself from her crazy.
"Uhh...." He stammered out, really unable to figure out what else to do or say. She was smaller than he was! The Reaper's attention only eagerly went back to the pile of bandages that still managed to talk. He was curious; was she just all around invisible, or did she really not have a head? HMM.
"Your friend is jackin' crazy, man!" He stated uncomfortably as if the crazy ghoul wasn't there, despite looking at her again. "What'd you do to make her so protective?!"
+++++++++++
Amrita, on the other hand, smiled up at Jericho, albeit sheepishly. She didn't mean to be rude with her phone call, and soon the phone itself was back in the hiding place on her person. Safe and sound and easily forgotten.
"Uhmm...N-no, you're the first!" Granted, she only really knew Jericho, Tahki and Malodore out of that entire list, so she could have seen them and just not known it. "J-just, do you mind staying here for a bit...? Lizzy's trying to find us."

Christof stared at the paper, brows furrowing. Maybe he was reading it wrong? But no, the third and fourth time he read over the boat list did not bode any better than the first time. Neither Riley nor Barth were on his boat! What... what was he supposed to do an entire trip without a Master there? With a bunch of strangers, no less! Well.... he knew Yaya...
And it would seem her Negally companion wasn't around... alright, so maybe that made things interesting but... So many names he didn't know, but was certain he should know, and more than likely knew the faces just not the names attached to them- he kept staring until another name popped out- Johan? Wait... wait THE Johan from the train and Christmas town? He hadn't seen him since that faithful trip and had half suspected he had been buried in snow somewhere... Well, it would be an interesting tale to hear how he survived, that was for sure.
Brows still furrowed, he glanced around frantically for Riley, Malodore or Barth... anyone to command him into accepting this terrifying outing all on his own. He'd need to stop at Barth's anyway, judging by the things stated in the rules and announcements, his normal shovel would be too large to fit in his luggage. There was a very good chance Barth had something smaller and more portable for use on sand somewhere in the junk heap that was his room.

Sepheran sat amongst the crowd hand holding the letter that had brought him here. So another weird trip huh? Well, while the last one was to say at least...interesting he wondered if it was smart to go on another one of these "trips" not that he had much of a choice anyway. He listened closely noting the time when they would be boarding...he gave a soft moan. Early morning...he was never good with morning.
Liannan gently nudged her head softly against his chin making Sephy smiles softly. "Ah, thanks Liannan," the basilisk stated lifting his hand to gently pet the white snake on his shoulder. Another note caught his attention for a moment though. No minipets...surely they would allow him to take Liannan though right? -shaking his head lightly he chuckled. Of course they wouldn't, he needed Liannan or else he'd probably keep falling off the boat or cause everyone trouble...he knew how much of a klutz he was without her.
As the other paper came by Sepheran held it up for Liannan to look at. So...he was on boat 3? He would have to remember that, though he was also a bit saddened to find that Lizzy and Tess weren't going to be on that boat, but he was also glad when Myr's name appeared remembering the other boil from the Christmas Raid and music class. Speaking of which he wondered if any of them were somewhere nearby.

Bul wasn't happy to be up and at this great gathering of boils and ghouls but knew that his a** was grass if he didn't attend this field trip. He was already a bit sick to his stomach knowing that he would be surrounded by cold, unforgiving water and the half beast could only really wade if he didn't thrash too hard. That'd be a challenge in the end. Heh, no alcoholic beverages that was a hoot. Especially when he'd later realize he'd be sharing a boat with Icky who had turned out to be a fine but influential little boggart with his provisions of Cider.
Bul was curious to see where Seiji was and felt bad that neither he or Seiji's ghoulfriend were on a boat together. He figured it'd be pretty rough for the onna. Still he was grateful he at least recognized most of his own fellow boat members and could find comfort in at least hinting to them of his issues with the deep blue. Still the thought haunted him and broke him into an uncomfortable reddish sweat- small boils around his neck spreading with the anxiety. It'd only get worse the sooner he'd get on the boat.
With him though he brought his trusted snotball since it wasn't technically illegal to bring. Maybe then he could sidetrack himself from getting sea sick or just nervous of falling overboard. He could also seek out companionship with Icky, should the boggart want to hang with him.

"Amrita~" The moment she was close enough to spot the shorter ghoul standing in front of Jericho, she had made a beeline for her. Wrapping both arms around her in an affectionate hug, she held onto both her backward hands even as she pulled away. She then pouted slightly as she squeezed her hands, "I'll miss you, but I'm sure we'll be able to meet up... Whenever the boats dock anyway."
She paused, turning and inclining her head to look at Jericho; if he saved her once, he could be relied on to look after Amrita, right?
"I'm counting on you!" She grinned at the boil despite feeling a little awkward around him right now - part of her wished that she was on boat 1 too. There was Amrita there! And Jericho too... She was on a boat with students she did not know - and Calder. She couldn't help looking a little upset at the thought, but quickly smiled again as she turned to look at Amrita.
"Be safe, alright?"
