Mayu laughed softly. "Well I better get home." She said and waved. "Bye." She said as she walked out of the doors of the school.

Justin waved farewell to Mayu, then smiled. He was glad to meet someone who wanted to talk to him without holding a knife. She was cute too, so that was a plus. He then walked out the doors, putting up his hood.

Mayu walked home and walked in the house. The house, of course was empty. She sat her bag down and sighed. She knew where her mother was, she was out hunting demons. Mayu sighed and shook her head, she never did believe in demons. She walked to the living room and turned on the t.v. She sat down and took out her book and began to read while the t.v. was on.

Meanwhile, Justin was busy hiding from a few people with weapons. They didn't know where he lived, so as long as he managed to get home without being followed, he'd be safe. Among the group of hunters was a woman. He remembered her from somewhere, but he shrugged, sneaking off into an alley.

Mayu folded a corner in her book and stood up and closed the book. She sat it down on the table and she grabbed her shoes and slipped them on. She was going to go on a walk. She walked out the door and closed it behind her, carefully. Mayu slipped outside and began walking. Before she knew it she was in the less populated area of the city.

Justin then broke into a sprint. This place wasn't crowded, so he wouldn't have to worry about some bystander watching him run off. However, he was busy looking back to make sure the hunters were gone, so he couldn't see in front of him, causing him to crash into something. Make that someone. Mayu, to be exact.

Mayu was minding her own business and she was not paying attention. She heard footsteps, someone was running towards her. Once she turned around it was too late to move and she fell to the ground when he ran into her. Mayu lets out a little whine and she sits up slightly.

Justin groaned, propping himself up. He then saw Mayu, and his eyes went wide. What was she doing out here!? He then calmed down. "Sorry about that. You okay?" He asked her, offering a hand to help. It seemed the hunters were gone, so he was in the clear for now.

Mayu nods slightly and takes his hand and stands up. "Y-yeah, I'll be fine." She said and smiled slightly. "You ran into me pretty hard, what were you running from?" She asked him and she brushed off the dirt on her shorts.

Justin had to think of a good lie. Sure, he didn't like lying to Mayu, but it was either that, or have her run away from him forever. "I wasn't running from anything. I just like running sometimes. I just lost focus when something caught my eye." He told her. If there WAS a god, Justin was silently praying to him OR her that Mayu would buy it.

Mayu looked at Justin and sighed. She could tell that he was lying by his actions but she decided to ignore it. She gave him a bright smile. "Yeah, I know what you mean, I walk around a lot." Mayu told him and she glanced over her shoulder and saw how abandoned the area was.

Justin KNEW that Mayu didn't buy it. Oh well....as long as the hunters were gone, and he didn't have to show her what he really was, he was safe. However, now that he was in the clear, he had no idea what to do. He couldn't just head home right now. A thought crossed his mind, and he decided to go for it. Sure, it was kinda soon, but he was almost hunted down AGAIN. Compared to that, this was nothing. "Hey...are you busy today? Maybe we could hang out, or something. I have nothing better to do." He offered. He kinda wanted to spend more time with the girl. Plus, if it got him away from the hunters, he'd do anything.

Mayu was getting a little nervous and she looked at Justin out of the corner of her eye, she was gazing at something behind her. She then heard his question and she looked right at him. "Oh, uh...no I'm not busy at all actually." She said, she was not use to being asked these kind of things. "Hanging out..." Mayu said the words as if they were foreign. "Yeah, that sounds fun." She admitted.

Justin smiled. "Alright." He said, starting to walk off. He didn't really have anything special planned. Just a walk around town for the hell of it. Maybe something might come up along the way.
