Keeva smiled shyly at Demyan. He might not have known it but he had just said the best and perhaps only thing that could have made the loss of the rabbit acceptable. “I’m just not used to that sound.” She shuddered delicately. “Whenever I pounce them at the fence it’s always fast enough that I don’t have to hear it.” Keeva blushed at the male’s administrations. He was just so very comfortable with touching. She nodded absently as she was mentally telling her heart to stop pounding quite so loudly.

He smiled at her and noticed that his words had put her at ease. I wonder what happened to her in the past that made her so unsure of herself and lack the confidence that a beautiful vixen like her should have? "Alright babe lets try moving over here to the other side behind this rock, if you pay attention to your surroundings, and not how handsome I am" He joked with her, "You will notice that the wind has changed and if your arn't down wind they will smell you and stay inside thier dens until you leave. Being down wind gives you the element of surprise." He directed her over to a small boulder. "Now remember when we practiced jumping off the rock in the garden, you can do it here too. The height of the boulder will give you exta jump distance. Now all we do is wait until we see another one."

Keeva listened but blushed at his self flattering joke. He certainly was a distraction even if he didn’t know it. She nodded and tried to gather her thoughts and focus. She hopped up on the rock and got into position. “You know no one has ever taken me hunting before. It’s fun even when the prey gets away.” Keeva surveyed the area where she thought the rabbits might hope out. It took a while of waiting but eventually off to her left she saw some movement. Adjusting herself slightly she prepared to launch for a mere fraction of a second before leaping off after her prey. Demyan had been right to suggest the added height from the boulder. Keeva smacked into the rabbit and took it down unlike the first rabbit. She snapped it’s neck quickly. Then she blinked. I caught it. I caught it. “I caught it! I CAUGHT IT!” Keeva was nearly dancing in place as she turned to face Demyan.

Demyan watched silently and took in her pouncing form, making sure she was in a good position. A few minutes past before a rustle in the bushes reached his ears and a rabbit, a good sized male by the looks of him, darted out into the field. Like s pro Keeva pounced off the rock and landed squarely ontop of the rabbit. She snapped his neck and the next thing he knew she was doing the cutest little victory dance. Oh, Im in trouble. This girl will be the end of my bachelor days. "GREAT JOB BABY!" he jogged over to her and looked at her kill. "Perfect form and execution babe! You did a great job! Look at the size of him too, hes got to be big enough to feed both of us!" he looked at her with a pride filled smile.

Keeva blushed. It felt so great to have Demyan complimenting her like that. She nodded feeling excited and accomplished for once. She had taken down her first ever wild rabbit, by hunting! The fence hadn’t held the rabbit down in place for her to get. It was just her and the rabbit. She was so excited that Keeva lost her good sense for a moment and kissed Demyan. She pulled back realizing what she did and immediately focused on the rabbit. I kissed him! Why did I do that? I was just.. to enthused yeah. That’s it. It was just me lost in the moment. I won’t do it again. After all if I did that … I don’t know! Maybe I’d explode. Nodding Keeva poked the dead rabbit. “He is really large.”

Demyan was shocked when in her enthusiastic state she kissed him, then he got all gooey like his legs melted into jelly. He looked at her with a dopey smile plastered on his face. "Yea really big" he said stupidly in his stupor before deciding to kiss her back, but a bit more fiercly then her quick peck. He smiled into the kiss and wrapped his tail around her shoulders before letting the kiss go and looking at her with a cheeky grin. "You're cute when you blush" he said teasingly.

Keeva blinked. She couldn’t think. Everything was just a blank. His tail was around her keeping her pinned to him. He was smiling, and she couldn’t stop blushing. “Thanks? I think..” Keeva stared into Demyan’s eyes and just stared at him for a moment. He was incredible. She snuggled up next to him sharing in his warmth. “You’re amazing Demyan.” Keeva nuzzled his chest happily. The fact he would leave soon enough made her mad, and sorrowful. That was part of life though right? Maybe he would come back and visit her? She surely hoped so.

Demyan puffed up proudly when she told him he was amazing. "You are wonderful my dear, I can't wait to teach you more next time we come out to hunt." he looked down at her cuddling him and nuzzled her back before continuing, "What would you like to hunt next hun? Deer, wild boar, birds, or.... uh fish?" he gave her a cheeky grin before looking down at the rabbit. "Hmm hes big but I think I should catch another one so that we can share a meal together." He got up and walked over to the boulder and hopped up ontop listening to the bush for any movement. He heard a rabbit and saw it jump out from under the bush. He gracefully leaped off the boulder, pouncing the rabbit cleaning and snapped its neck. "Good size, though not nearly as big as yours babe." he set the rabbit next to hers.

Keeva was on cloud nine. Demyan was so sweet to compliment her. On top of which he would be coming back to teach her to hunt other things. Keeva’s ears flicked in excitement. They would be hunting together meaning Demyan would come back. This one little fact made Keeva feel happy from the bottom of her paws to the tips of her ears. “Oh anything sounds good as long as I can learn to hunt with you.” Keeva watched as Demyan caught his own food. The male was beauty and grace in motion when he jumped. Keeva felt herself shiver in excitement watching Demyan. What is wrong with me? I shouldn’t be oogling him like that..

"Okay well I think going fishing would be fun with you. Play in the water and have fun in the sun. Plus fish would go great with your vegatables." He smiled at her before digging into the rabbit he just caught. "Mmmm not bad." He took another bit and looked up at her, "Hey babe dig in." He gave her a smile, alittle blood left on his muzzle before he licked it off.

“Mmm? Oh yes that does sound like fun.” Keeva felt her cheeks warming a bit. She had been so busy watching Demyan that she almost didn’t pay attention to what he was saying. “Right.” Keeva tore into her rabbit thinking that the day before her couldn’t get any better than it was right at this moment. Her tail wagged subconsciously.

Demyan smiled as he watched her tail wag. She is so cute, I'm so glad that she likes me. I am one lucky guy. "We'll its still pretty early we could go to the lake now to teach you to fish. I don't really want to leave yet, Im having to much fun with you." He looked at her, a bit of a blush licked his cheeks. "I guess we could just go for a walk too." His tail flicked back and forth happily.

Squeaking Keeva could hardly believe her ears. Demyan was having fun! It was wonderful. “Lets go on a walk. I don’t want you to leave either.” Keeva hurried and finished up her rabbit excited at the prospect of being able to spend more time with the male. “You know I don’t often wander the woods but I’m sure one time I was wandering around I saw a hill in the distance. Maybe we can find it?”

"A walk sounds awesome babe!" Demyan finished up his rabbit before continuing, "Which way did you think that hill was at? North of here?" He sat back looking at the cute vixen before him.

Keeva looked around at the woods around them and winced. Oh I’m going to sound like a fool. I just know it. “I’m not sure.. ” Keeva’s tail did a single loop in the air before thumping softly to the earth. She had no idea which direction the hill might be from this spot in the woods… her ears drooped a bit as she looked around again wishing she had been more adventurous and gotten to know the woods better than her random forays in the past. “Sorry.”
