Brise's eyes lit up at the memory of a few celebrations. "Yes, quite a few in fact. I still have the dress they gave me to wear. I had never before seen anything so detailed and the fabric seemed weightless." She was almost glowing in joy at the special memories flashing for her.
Maverik smiled, glad his charge was smiling in true joy once again. Maybe he could talk the elf into staying with them, then everything would be alright. e hoped at least.
"Nay, I am the lucky one. A female should never consider herself lucky to capture a male's attentions. A male should feel privileged to have a female acknowledge him at all." He corrected lightly. He was enjoying himself almost as much as Brise at the companionship he was getting. There really was good in life.

"I'm sure you look beautiful in it. The celebrations were always my favorite parts of the year." Ana said cheerfully, smiling at the girl. The clothes Ana wore were made of a plain cloth similar to the one Brise mentioned. "It's much easier to move in that kind of fabric. I have had a hard time finding it outside of elven lands though."
She chuckled. "Alright, then I'm happy none of the other elves caught your eye." Ana couldn't remember the last time she'd had such a good time around other people.

The bushes rustled near the three people that gathered in the Forgotten Forest. In an instant, Nicholas popped out from the leaves, flying towards the girl with medium, dark brown hair. With great speed in flight, he reached out in attempts to carry her into the air, laughing playfully. Nicholas would not allow them any time to react unless the reaction was that of being surprised and shocked at his sudden appearance. The air around him held no ill-will or threatening presence.

Brise smiled at Ana, truly happy for the first time in what felt like forever. "Yes, it is quite hard to come by outside, none are as skilled at weaving as your people. I couldn't even get halfway as good at embroidery as some of the children were." She laughed, completely at ease. She had forgotten about the male, she didn't feel a need to keep watch on him. Maverik was smarter, but equally distracted. "Ha ha! None I have ever seen has been able to hold a candle to one as beautiful as yourself. Why, I--"
Nicholas appeared before he could continue, going straight for Brise. Maverik barely had time to call out her name before she was caught in the boy's arms.
She let out a shriek, throwing her arms up to block whatever was flying toward her. She had not seen him emerge, having no time to react. All she could do was hope Maverik helped her. She didn't dare let her powers be known, not yet anyway.

(Oh. My bad. The page kind of made her hair look black. Also, to me, hair past the shoulder blades is already too long. You can guess that I like short hair from that. >_>)
Holding the girl in a bridal style position in his arms, Nicholas laughed at his success at capturing her and making her shocked. Flying high into the air, Nicholas made sure to float above the right position of the forest. If he wanted this to work, they would have to be at the right height and spot. "How's this for being weightless?" he laughed, implying to her earlier comment. He leaned in slightly near her face, observing it at a closer range. "You're a lot prettier at this distance," he beamed a grin at the girl. Staring down at the two other people, his grin widened at their surprised expression as well. "They seem worried. We shouldn't keep them waiting then," he teased her. He waited until the wind around them died down before he whispered into her ear. "Brace yourself." As quickly as he appeared, Nicholas earring seemed to have jingled slightly once before he dove down, still holding the girl tightly in his arms as to make sure she does not struggle too hard and end up falling. He continued to speed up the more he dove down, alert and ready in case one of her friends tried to stop him somehow. He acted like one, but he was not a fool; of course Nicholas would not know how these strangers defended themselves. He would have to just be cautious, not wanting his entertaining plans ruined.

{lol, I can sit on mine in real life and that's fine. Just thought I'd clarify.}
Brise's eyes were huge. This, boy, had to be insane. Being high didn't bother her, but being held like this did. "You're crazy!" She yelled, pushing at his chest. If she could get free, she'd release her wings and fly as fast as she could. But releasing then when held was dangerous, for both of them. "Maverik!" She screamed, her wind powers flaring despite her best efforts.
Maverik stood on the ground, unsure of what to do. If he tried hitting the boy, he might hurt Brise. If he did nothing, there was no telling what might happen.
"Release her, you little brat!" Maverik called, feeling the urge to shift into his true form. But he wouldn't unless he had no choice. Ana might think differently of him should she see it, and Brise was scared of it.
How he hated this feeling of uselessness.

Ana nodded, she was laughing as well. "Some are more gifted at it than others though." She said, remembering how long it had taken her to learn the art.
Ana was about to reply to Maverik when the rustling bushes distracted her, before she could turn to look Nicholas shot out and carried Brise into the air. It took a moment for her to figure out the newcomer's race. "Always up to something aren't you?"
Ana returned the bow and arrow to their rightful spots, unsure at what point she had drawn them. She was trying to think of a way to get Brise away from the fay when he started to dive. Ana did the first thing that came to mind, she called on wind to stop Nicholas. While she had nearly mastered elemental magic it appeared that wind was this fay's element and so her magic probably wouldn't do much. Ana hoped it would at least slow their descent though.

Nicholas felt magic in the air, literally. His hazel eyes stared at both the elf and the man. One of them had attempted to use wind magic on him. Was it her, maybe? he grinned at the long, redish-brown haired elf. Elves sure have a knack for elements; more now than centuries ago. Of course, there really was no contest between what is natural and what is magic. However, Nicholas did not try to stop her from attempting to slow him down. "It looks like you all want me to stop?" he laughed, especially when the man called Maverik attempted to stop him through the use of commanding words and name calling. "All right; if that's what you want," he stated somewhat mockingly. Nicholas immediately came to a halt, hoping to have slightly shocked the girl in his arms. "Just kidding." Even though he had allowed the wind to stop him, it did not truly stop him from falling naturally straight down over the spot he calculated beneath the forest. When he had suddenly come to a stop, he was already at the perfect height. This time, he made sure to fall backwards, still holding the dark brown haired girl bridal style, wanting her to feel some kind of rush going through her stomach as if they were on a roller coaster.
There was a sudden soft crunching sound as different colored leaves burst into the air and slowly fell back to the forest grounds. Nicholas had created a pile of leaves and dropped both him and this girl into it a few feet away from the others. Yes, Nicholas had spent that few minutes gathering as many leaves possible near these three strangers just to drop one of them in it. At the moment they landed in this pile, he had already released her, rolling under a huge pile himself, laughing as well as wondering what sort of expression the others held.

Her wind powers flared full force, the leaves flying everywhere as long as it was away from her. The fey might be Wind born, but she had millenniums on him. Her essence powers gripped him, keeping him from vanishing, but other than that, he could still move about. Her hair shifted with her use of powers, black as night and reaching her ankles. Everything else stayed the same, but her powers still kept flaring. "You are either the most insane being I have ever came across, or the most suicidal!" She yelled, wrapping her arms around herself protectively. Maverik rushed to her side, his own wind and aura powers flaring. But more controlled than Brise's. The boy's aura was pure wind, but that didn't stop Maverik's from lashing out. "Brise, are you hurt?" He asked, removing his cloak and wrapping it about her. She was red, suddenly realizing that her choice of clothing was not a good idea. A plunging neckline and mini didn't offer much protection. Her elven boots were about the only thing worth anything for cover and protection.

Heeeh. So even this guy has wind powers. Nicholas smirked amusingly as Maverik rushed over. The girl was either embarrassed or extremely angry because her face was the color of a tomato. Then again, it could also mean both. Nicholas snickered to himself always loving those expressions the most in women. She had also attempted to cover herself up even though her choice of clothing did not assist her much. What was the word to describe these actions in any of the girls he has met? "Cute, is what they call it?" he muttered out loud to himself, grinning. Nicholas popped out from the pile of leaves causing more to explode into the air and naturally flutter back to the ground. He laughed just for the sake of laughing; it was what made everything fun no matter what in situations that are not truly as dire as life and death. "Well, I vote for being insane because that makes a person even more interesting. People who are suicidal are so boring," he replied to her seemingly rhetorical statement. "And that's very rude of you! I would never put even so much as a dent on the body of a beautiful lady such as herself," Nicholas tilted his head slightly to the side, his bangs slightly covering his eye as he smiled almost seductively at the girl.
(Well, I admit to Maverik being a lot older than Nicholas, but how is Brise also older? Just wondering.)

A gust of wind hit him in the face as Brise stood in one fluid movement. Her eyes flaring angrily, she clutched the cloak about her tightly. Only when someone acted like this around her did she ever get embarrassed. "What is your name?" She demanded, holding her head high as she regained her composure. Her skin faded back to its light tone, her hair returning to its earlier look. She was slightly unsettle by the look in the male's eyes. His smile almost unnerved her, she was not use to having males look that way at her.
Maverik stood with her, glaring death at the boy. "I do not trust any male around Brise, boy. Keep your hands to yourself or I'll make sure you never touch her again." His voice was filled with malice, dripping with threat. He would not harm the boy as long as he re-framed from touching his charge. He would not have them thrown out of this place because of a fey that was being mischievous. Using a slight lift of his hand, everything loose, namely the leaves, flew off. He would not allow anything for the fey to hide in around at the moment. Until he knew the name of this lad, he would take no chances.
{Brise has been around for a very long time. Her parents got together when the earth was still young. Maverik had been around since just after the creation, and Brise is only a couple centuries younger}

Nicholas' head turned to the side at the impact of wind hitting his face. He continued to hold his grin, laughing inwardly at her reaction. "That's no fun!" Nicholas took notice of her "regaining composure" again as did the Queen of the Elven Domain did when Orcus had told her to. Nicholas knew that he could no longer turn invisible if he were to fly away in the wind. After all, all three of these strangers were capable of using wind just like him. However, that did not stop him from his usual floating in the air casually. "Whatever happened to acting like yourself? I know I do!" he proudly smiled at himself. Threats and glares were something Nicholas was always used to, but why should that stop him from having fun? "You know, it's that type of attitude that keeps a beautiful girl, such as her, from socializing with a few boys here and there," he teasingly chastised the male. "...Unless you're her overprotective boyfriend, of course." Nicholas floated around as if his back was on water next to the leaves that the man had blew away. "And I only carried her," he chuckled with a shrug to his shoulders as if his prank was the most normal thing in the world.
(Oh, I see. LOL. Nicholas completely passed off the question. Ahhh. I'm sorry. Nicholas is so mean.)

"Maverik is not my boyfriend." Brise replied as calmly as possible. "Would you please tell me your name?" She tried again, asking softer. She looked up at him from under her eye lashes.
Maverik shook his head, he should have expected that. It still made him want to laugh, though. He considered Brise a daughter, nothing more. He kept his mouth shut, letting Brise try. She might get more out of the male than he could. Even if she had to flirt slightly.
((Its alright, and I think I'll wait for Fey to start posting again. We're kinda taking off without her sweatdrop ))
