Viveca nodded when he had asked if they were here for the advertised eggs, but waited a moment longer until he invited them into the room. She was a bit formal about these things, especially when she didn't know the person.
She stepped into the room, looking around curiously. It seemed to be much warmer in here than in her own room, Viveca wondered what kept it so warm. In one corner she noticed a large pile of what she assumed to be treasure. She had to admit to herself that she was kinda impressed by it.
"Can they learn different tools?" she finally asked, speaking for the first time.
If they didn't know the difference between a hammer and a socket wrench, she wouldn't want to take on the responsibility of taking care of something that was useless to her.
"Oh," her brain suddenly reminded her to introduce herself, since she didn't know his name. She wasn't sure if he'd care what hers was, but she decided that maybe he'd want to know who his eggs were going to. "I'm Viveca," she said happily.

"I'm Jericho," he replied in response, also giving his name to anyone else that might have been curious. The new demon girl was quite a polite one from what he was able to gather.
"They can. I'd advise against giving them anything too complicated though. The basics should be fine," he added with a grin. Giving a kobold a power drill or chainsaw was probably not the best thing to do in Halloween. They were likely to hurt themselves or others around them more than getting whatever task they needed to do done in that case. Then again, that could be potentially amusing to watch... as long as he was a safe distance away.
His gaze shifted over towards Gimbal and Lizzy for the moment, to make sure his own Kobold wasn't trying to bite her again. The little dragon-kin squirmed a bit, but he wasn't struggling around too much. Most likely, he wasn't really used to being carried or held like that.

Extending a hand to Jericho the skeleton's face split into a smile. "Tabitha," she introduced herself. "Tabitha Skulling and it's a pleasure to meet you." Despite that it was the first time in the private room of a boil and despite the fact that she was only really there to procure some non-hired help she still felt it necessary to be polite and proper. Actually looking at her surroundings now that she knew who it belonged to she couldn't help but want to reach out and trail a finger along everything. But that would have been rude and so she held her fingers close at her side. She admonished herself quietly before turning her grin back to the dragon. "How many are we allowed to take, then?" She was hoping for two, but with how obviously cared for the currently hatched ... thing looked she didn't want to assume. "Do they have names? By which I mean does their kind have a name. Like I'm a skeleton and you're a dragon."(( And my profile is Hot Lolli. Thank you! <3 ))

Nodding to the skeleton, Jericho shook her hand and grinned, "Nice to meet you too, Tabitha. And up to two at a time... Just to make things easier to carry. You could always come poke me again for more later."
He wouldn't really mind if more were taken at once, but there was more of a hazard of dropping the eggs the more people had to carry at the same time. At the question on what they were, his golden eyes settled on Gimbal briefly before looking back at Tabitha.
"These little guys are kobolds. They're dragonkin," he explained.

While the group was chit-chatting, they might have heard a loud 'WHUMP' come from the door.
"Oh my, oh my..." the door slowly moved open, revealing a large cello case. "I'm so sorry, I was getting ready for music class and I saw a flier about reptilian pets. I couldn't leave the cello behind, so I took it with me and-- and well...I'm so sorry if I dented your door. I hope everything is all right!"
The speaker seemed to look all right, though she had no head.
"Is this the right dorm room...?" Alwine glanced from person to person and noticed the eggs, though she did not say anything about them. She didn't want to assume that these were the pets in question, or that there were even any left.

(( Yay Kobolds! 8DDD MandaGaia )) Well, Aksaja couldn't help but be curious as to exactly what his fellow dragon meant by 'reptilian servant' . . . so of course, that meant that he showed up at Jericho's dorm fairly quickly after spotting the notices around campus. Poking his head into the room, golden eyes widened slightly at the sheer volume of eggs lying about.
"Well, looks like somebody had a good time to produce all these things . . . " he murmured, eyeing one. Were they minipets, or what? "Are these things the uhm. Servants you were talking about?"

Jericho looked right at the door as he heard a loud thud from there. Furrowing his brow, he was about to see what in Halloween had caused the noise, but he soon found out as he saw the headless ghost girl peek on in. He had seen her before, at the Christmas trip, but he never really caught her name. Now that he saw her here, he was a bit curious at how she could see without eyes or ears or anything else that was normally found on a head.
"This is the place alright," he nodded to her, ignoring his questions regarding how she got by headless, "Come on in.. just.. uh.. be careful with your cello."
Raising his eyebrow as he saw and heard Aksaja poke in, the dragon chuckled and shook his head, "More like somethings. I don't think these all of these are from the same two kobolds. Come in man."
"Remember when I mentioned little dragonkin that served my parents? That's these guys, the kobolds," he explained.
Gimbal's eyes lit up again at the sight of another dragon. This was very promising indeed.
"Dragon good!" he said rather cheerfully. If he were on the ground, he probably would have bowed or groveled to the two new dragons in the room.

"That's not too bad," Lizzy nodded in regard to how long it would take to hatch an egg given the right conditions; it would also keep Rosenthal from potential escaping the room to follow her, hopefully... He would see egg-sitting as an important job if she tasked him with it.
"Aw, look he's happy!" She held Gimbel out towards Jericho; it seems like she would not be letting him go any time soon, although she knew he didn't belong to her... Might as well hold onto him for a little longer since Jericho's occupied! If she knew what the Kobold was thinking, however, she might have given another flick to the head for being racist. Then again, it wasn't really the thing's fault, if they were raised that way.
"Ah, I want to bring him back with me," She laughed, raising an eye brow; it was a joke, of course. Probably.

Alwine set her cello against the nearest wall and tried to smooth down some of her rumpled bandages. "I'm sorry about it. Professor Blue picked it out and-- well, at least I didn't get the tuba..." the haunt let her mind wander to poor Barth. Of all the people to receive the tuba as an instrument, it had to be him. "I'm pretty sure I saw you during the whole Christmas ordeal," Alwine continued. "But pardon me for not remembering your name... oh! I'm so sorry for not introducing myself first. My name is Alwine, and I would simply love to care for one of those eggs." (( KazeTaco! Thank yoooouuu!!))

Viveca was getting a little anxious with all these people around her. Or maybe it was just crashing from the caffeine...it always was hard for her to tell. "Oh, I see," she said, nodding, a little quickly. She tried to think if any of her tools might be considered 'complicated', but decided that they were all pretty simple. "If you have 2 to spare, I'd love to take care of them," she added chipperly. In her head, she had a brief thought that they'd be better with a demon than monster, but she held her tongue. Catch more flies with honey and all that. She watched some other people come in after her, one seemed to be...headless? How odd! The headless person seemed to be a ghoul, and she was toting around a large cello case. How...did she read her music, Viveca wondered. "Have you, uhm...Been at school long? I only just got here," she asked Jerico. Viveca didn't know if she really needed to make small talk, but she was sort of curious. He didn't seem like that bad of a boil. Even if he was a dragon. "What sort of stuff is there to do around here for fun?" (( Imbri! Thank you! ))

Nodding to Lizzy, Jericho chuckled as Gimbal did seem pretty happy. He wouldn't be surprised if it was because of the presence of the dragons in the area. Since he came from home, he likely had the mentality of many of the other kobolds there... where they basically worshiped dragons. It could be interesting to see how some of these new ones would act without that sort of culture surrounding them.
"Gimbal stay!" the Kobold huffed out in response to the demon. He didn't really want to go with her. She seemed nice and all, but he would rather stay with Jericho.
"I'm Jericho, and of course, Alwine," the dragon said to the ghost girl as he went to fetch her an egg. He also grabbed two for Viveca. Once he had all the eggs in hand, he went on to hand them over to them.
"I've been here for about two months. Welcome by the way," he grinned, "Well, there's a bunch of different clubs around that you could get involved in. You could probably find at least one that suits your interests. Off campus, there's the maul, the movie theater, and a few other areas to hang out and such. Occasionally there seems to be some parties too."

Riley had been idly sliding the eggs around in one hand, as she watched the procession of students filing in. It was nice to see everyone, but she had chosen to remain an observer this time around. Her finger slipped, just slightly, and one of the eggs slid out from her grasp and dropped to the floor. It cracked open with a thud.
Riley looked down at the mess, and brought her remaining egg closer to her.
Oops.

Hearing the crack and splat, Gimbal and Jericho looked to see that one of the eggs had been dropped. The latter just sort of cringed at that.
"Er.. need a new egg?" he asked while blinking.
The kobold on the other hand, let out quite the shriek.
"BAD!! BAAD!! BAAAAD!!" he squawked. Apparently he didn't really know enough words to really get onto the mindflayer for that, but the fact that he was shouting his head off and squirming quite a bit again was enough to show he was rather unhappy.
"Gimbal, calm down!" hissed Jericho.

Despite Gimbals expected reaction, Riley looked on sweetly at Jericho's offer. I guess so. I'll have to be more careful from now on. My apologies.Alania

"Aw, you're attached to your master," She couldn't help chuckling at him, "But you're welcome to come visit, yes." She left out how territorial Rosenthal could be, given the right conditions. When he started to squirm again, she waited for him to settle since it was over a good reason. As he started to scream, she continued to wait... And then...
Thwack.
Another flick on Gimbal's forehead to clam him down as Lizzy frowned at the mess on the floor, winching at what might had been a good gnome killer. While she did pity the wiggling Kobold in the sense that he did just see one of his uh, comrades get smashed, it was still improper to yell at Riley like that. She was pretty sure it was just an accident, seeing how the Mindflayer was holding the remaining egg close to her.
"An accident," Her frown deepened, patting him on the head once again, wondering if she should let him go. Then again, he might just pounce on Riley so it might be better to hold onto him. Probably.
