Now that's a cereal i wouldn't mind to buy, creep my mother hell yeah worth to see her scream. Also nice shading with the colors man, but one questions do you have persuasive demons?

So sorry, I came upon this only after my post. Persuasive demons? Could you elaborate on that one? I'm not sure that I fully understand your question.

Uhh how do i say this uhm like something or someone giving you ideas that's not of your control

Oh, no. These are all mine and it's certainly an ability that I have to call upon. I can trace most of them back to some source or amalgamation of my interests.
And thank the rest of you for your comments as well. As usual, there will be another new one up tomorrow.

Alright then, but one thing for sure you have a dark and disturbing mind, which is awesome.

No arguments, here.

Ah, time for more art, but I better get it in before midnight so I can post something new for the 10th.

I'll submit this now, so I can take my time and think about just what it is that I want to write about it.

The above is probably my favorite page from this comic that I was working on. I stopped for a while... For no good reason I suppose, nor really any reason that I can remember. Later, I decided that I would take some time, get a bit further in my schooling, and improve before I went back to it. I think that I probably have. Having said that, though, I don't know that there's anything about this page that I would change... Especially the maggots. I'm very, very proud of the maggots.
The story... Is exceptionally long, so I won't be sharing it here, especially since I still plan to publish it. The first 15 pages of what I had are available in my guild, so if you're not a member and wish to see, please come join us. Otherwise, more pages will be on their way tomorrow and the day after.

It's been over 12 hours, and yet no comments? Hm. Maybe no one else is as big a fan of that one as I am. neutral
Moving right along, then...
User Image
For the most part I am quite pleased with this one, though I can see things that I would do differently... But that just shows that I'm better now than I was then... Which is always good news.

So Sorry For The No Comments >.<

Okay, The First One Of Your Comic...Is AMAZING!
Im A Fan Of That Skeleton Hand, Omg Its Just The Way The Structure Of The Bones Look Amazing!
And The Maggots! Wow, You Had The Patience To Draw The Maggots, Its Just Amazing The Talent You Have.

The Second One, Is Just As Amazing As The First One.
The Demons, Look Real...Somehow.
I Think Your Art Is Great, Though Im Not Much Of A Fan Of The Dark Arts.

I may or may not agree. It depends on what you mean by dark arts. I believe that there is such a thing as telekinesis (though it doesn't work the way it does in the movies, where people lift bricks, steel girders, or cars. You'd be able to exert more force by blowing.) but that's about as far into the paranormal that I have seen evidence that it's worth the time to dabble into. There's a great deal of interesting lore and trivia, but insofar as I have seen, no real magick, though even if I did find that there was something, I'd be loathe to explain it in such unscientific terms... Though this is more of a discussion for the other sub-forum that I maintain here on BURN, Extended Discussion and Debate. I'll say no more of it here, but I'd be happy to discuss it there, but I'd welcome you do define "Dark Arts" here, if that's all that you have to say on the topic.
A new post, with picture, will be in the works as soon as I hit "Submit."

EDIT: Actually, class is starting, now. It may have to wait a bit.

Well, By Dark Arts, I Dont Mean Magic Or Any Of That Sort.
It Would Lean More To The Dark Theme Your Art Holds (Ex, Ghouls, Death, And Demons [And I Mostly Say This Because Of The Way I've Been Raised My Entire Life, And For An Incident That Happened When I Was Young] )
And, Im Terribly Sorry For The Confusion My Statement Could Have Made.
I Know I Put The Words Wrong, But Then Again, It Was Late sweatdrop

I'm curious about the incident, but you don't have to get into it if you'd rather not. I must say though that I'm most surprised that you get any enjoyment out of my artwork, as the overwhelming majority of it is rather firmly in the vein.
Now that I have that break, I'll soon have that new post up.

This page was a lot of fun. It gives you a peek inside of the head of the gnomish musician of the story and in so doing pokes fun at a lot of fantasy tropes, but especially fantasy tropes as used (and overused) in anime and manga... Even though a lot of them show up, in some fashion or other, later in my story. >..>

About My Incident, I Dont Mind Telling...Since Its Something Rather "Silly".
When I Was A Kid, 7-9 Years Of Age, I Was Always A Fan Of Nightcrawler, Something That My Devoted Christian Parents Never Liked.
So Once, I Felt..."Artistic" And Decided To Draw Him, From A 2 Inch Box, I Blew Him To A 8x11 And It Was Amazing...I Have To Admit.
But Once I Showed My Parents, The Talent I Thought Would Grow, They Quickly Began To Scold Me, And Say That Anything That Includes Demons (Stories or Drawings) Just Lure In Real Demons To The Person. So, I Guess You Can Say Im Traumatized? But Yeah, Its Something Way Back In My Head.

About Your New Art, I Love The First Box...The Eyes Are Just Amazing! 8D (Sorry, I Just Had To Put That Emote)
And, Yeah, Whats With All The Snakes?
The Piece Of Writing Catches My Attention...A Lot.

What's disgustingly ironic about that is the fact that Nightcrawler is himself suffocatingly Christian. If they wanted to mold you in their theistic image, they probably would have encouraged you to like him... But again like most Christians, they demonized something for superficial reasons because they just didn't know enough about to understand. You'll come to see that behavior all the time.
By the way, if they succeeded in molding you in their theistic image and you are a Christian then I do hope you don't take offense, but I am standing by that one, either way.
I'd also like to note that I'm not trying to drag politics or religion into the arts sub-forum, but my passions and my art are inseparable... And if it were any character other than the insufferably religious Nightcrawler and the irony that his involvement created, I'd have managed to say less.

I Know, I Know, They Never Took Time To Understand Nightcrawler. Or His Actual Story...Sad.
And Dont Worry, I Am No Where Near Being Offended By Your Comment.
And Your Passion Being? Other Than Art,Of Course.

Well, manifold, but as they apply here religion and politics.
Oh, I neglected to reply to the other portion of your post. Guess I got caught up.
Heh, yeah, the first panel was a lot of fun. I used a thicker line quality to imitate shonen works. In the average piece of artwork, I wonder how many jokes an intelligent artist buries and how many he expects anyone else will ever get.
As for the snakes, I'd love to say that was a brilliant and clever joke, too, but honestly as I drew the panels, I put a snake it the first two, as the first thing that came to mind (on as an enemy, another as a familiar) so when I got to the third panel, I decided that I'd keep it going (and then have the humorless priest point it out).

How negligent I've been! Please excuse me, for I've not even a legitimate excuse. Please do take it on my word that I started this post at least once before and was interrupted.
And now without further delay...

This is a page from the same comic. It's the character making a deal with a higher (or perhaps lower) power. The effects of which were in a preceding image.
Yes, in my epics, stories, and role-plays you just might get everything you want, but you'll pay dearly for it.

Thought I'd get another early start, ironically spending time on Gaia posting art despite looming deadlines that demand that I instead be making it... Such is life.

This is a work on scratchboard, set in the style of a Public Works illustration from around the time of The Great Depression. It glorifies the working man (in this case, the oft overlooked blacksmith of the fantasy novel). I thought it an interesting twist.
I'd say a bit more but as I said, I'm really behind.
