Nicholas laughed once again at her compliment. "Of course it's cool. That's why I'm Nicholas!" he replied. "Dakota was it? If you think that's cool, then," Nicholas suddenly grabbed her hands and attempted to pull her on his back. He also stood at a good enough distance in case she reacted in a way that had to give him time to dodge. It would be all the more fun, however, if he did manage to get her on his back. He grinned playfully all the while.

"Holy Mother of... Ah!" Dakota cried out in surprise. She immediately gripped tightly onto Nicholas, praying that she wouldn't fall back down with a loud thump, since she wasn't exactly the most graceful of people. Dakota looked down and couldn't believe that she was airborne. This can't be happening, I must be dreaming, Dakota thought to herself. "You're impossible!" she cried with joy.

Nicholas flew higher into the air as Dakota clung onto him. He laughed at her reaction and soared through the winds faster. "Being impossible is what makes someone like me awesome," he replied. "Just like this!" Nicholas changed his flight direction and did two somersaults in the air without warning. He glanced back slightly to view the face of this girl in order to know her reaction once again. After finishing his somersaults, he accelerated once again in the air and headed toward the forest below. He quickly dodged trees and bushes after flying extra close making it seem like he was about to crash into them. He flew back above the trees and steadily floated with the wind, still holding Dakota on his back. He grinned.

Dakota could do nothing but stare with wonder, and of course say the odd word. She was a little apprehensive about the hight that Nicholas took her to, but since it was something she had never experienced before, she guessed that was perfectly normal. "You must have plenty of fun on the weekends..." Dakota joked as they slowed down.

Nicholas' feet landed with a light thud as the ground beneath him crunched softly under his shoes. He gave Dakota time to get off his back as he looked around for anything else to do, or if there were anyone else he could prank on. "I have plenty of fun everyday, anywhere, anytime," he laughed. His small earring jingled quietly as he shifted his head back toward the girl. "So where are we anyway? And what brings you here all alone?" he beamed cheerfully at her.

User Image "I was exiled only a little while back," Dakota mumbled the answer Nicholas' second question first as she steadied herself on the ground. "and as for where we are, I haven't got a clue." she shook her head. Nothing at all seemed to make sense any longer to Dakota. First her being exiled, then ending up in the forest and then meeting Nicholas. She soon gave up on the little sad act, simply because it wasn't her style. "N'aww well, I had a good laugh, so to speak."

Nicholas gave up on his search for other people in the forest. He jumped fully around and slightly floated in the air once more, curiosity shown in his eyes. "Exiled?" he no longer cared about where they were located at. "So you went out with a bang," he grinned. "Let's hear it!" Nicholas laid back on the air as if laying on something and waiting for Dakota to tell her story. Unfortunately, even if she did decide to tell him her story, his attention span might shorten if it was nothing really interesting. The best stories are the ones that he tells after all. But, so far, hearing about an exiled person caught his interest. Exiled people always seemed fun to him because it was another way of saying they were no longer bound to their rules. What could be more fun than following your own rules rather than what other people have decided for you?

User Image "I guess you could say that. Heh. Well, it started with just trying to feed myself, I got the odd scrap from the sympathetic people. Eventually no one took pity so I started stealing; mostly from the richest buildings I could find. I joined a group who had the same interests, but they started killing people and that's just not right in my opinion and the village didn't approve either, but neither was condemning people to death their style..." Dakota took a moment to laugh and then continued, "...unless of course they thought you were a witch or something crazy like that. Nah, they let me off light I suppose 'cause I got the blame, didn't I? 'It was all her idea' they'd chant. At least they didn't find out about how I cheated the rich out of their fortune, or about how I left the village."

"Heeeh... Something like that? The world is too strict and boring," Nicholas floated with his arms crossed in a sitting position. "Oh well! I still choose to create a little disorder regardless of what people think anyway. Their reactions are either predictable or entertaining. Either way, it's funny!" As Nicholas was talking, he slowly started to float around in a circle until he was now in the air upside-down in a sitting position. His hair fell toward the ground at this time, but he merely kept his infamous grin on. "But mind the elves. They have no sense of humor! It's so rough with them! Speaking of stealing," he immediately changed the subject, "I can steal anything. I'm pretty good at it!" Nicholas went back to a normal position as his hair fell back down to place. "But, most of the things I steal get pretty boring. I return them in a week or so. Maybe a year."

User Image "Oh," Stealing was a complicated and perhaps even a topsy-turvy subject to Dakota, and to think she was discussing it with someone else: it was quite intriguing. "I never returned anything, it's not that I got a fair share of the rewards from the raids. Waste of time really, I s'pose, but there was the thrill of it too." She put her right hand in her jacket pocket, wiggled it about and brought back out a handfull of rings, necklaces and bracelets. She looked down guiltily at them and muttered: "Somehow, I couldn't let them go..."

Nicholas grinned down at them, remembering a time when he had stolen jewelry from a stand. "Oh! I remember something like those! I had purposely let myself get caught by the owners where they chased me all around the market. I ran on my feet this time, though instead of flying away. I finally turned a corner and swooped away into the air!" he made an arm motion of himself have flown off the ground. "By the time they caught up, they were so confused at my disappearance! You should have seen their faces! They kept on scratching their heads for a long time!" he laughed. "Then they decided to go back to their stand since they gave up. But I was quicker. I placed the jewelry I stole back in a random place at their location. They were even more confused! But of course, it's not like I had any use for those stuff anyway," he shrugged. "I bet it would look pretty on you though." Nicholas smiled at her, slightly tilting his head to the side causing his bangs to cover some parts of his eyes.

User Image Dakota smiled and looked up at Nicholas. "Do you think so?" she asked politely; yet again another rarity. For pure fun, Dakota did try a few pieces of jewelry on, first spending most of her time trying to stop the necklace from falling off her neck and then just slipping various bracelets onto her wrists. Eventually she got to the rings and decided only to put a couple of them on. They made her think about the raids: how the group would dash in, grab as much as they could and just rush back out again whilst hoping they hadn't been spotted.

Nicholas laughed as he watched Dakota try to put on the jewelry and fiddling around with the bracelets and rings. As she finished, he placed his hand on his chin in ponder. "Heeeh. It does look good after all," he nodded. He floated on his stomach as if he were laying on something, both hands placed on his cheeks. "I bet you would look even more pretty with a dress that fits with those, too."

User Image Dakota laughed out loud after Nicholas spoke. "Dresses and I don't go together, let's just say we have our disagreements."
She shuddered a little as she thought about dresses. Horrid things...

"Heeeh. That's too bad. I heard rumors that elves can sew nice outfits; custom made just to fit your image if you asked, I think. Well, times may have changed by now," Nicholas shrugged. "I know their sense of humor has!" While laughing, Nicholas stared at all the plant life as if he was trying to find something. "So where are ya planning to go from here? It's so boring to just sit around waiting for something to happen. Why don't ya explore or something? We'll be able to figure out where we are, ya know?" he momentarily grinned at Dakota before staring at the forest itself again.
