I like all three of them...
I went to an art school for my high school years where a lot of my focus was on traditional art & from there I eventually steamed off into digital art work & photography. When I try to craft from traditional art, I usually use pens of different size tips & bleed rates to get different effects & strokes when I draw. If I don't use pen, I'll most likely be using a combination of charcoal & prisma colour pencils. I can't stand the sound of pencils against paper though... so I can only work like that for short periods of time. The scratching noise is annoying as hell, makes me grit my teeth a little.
Digital work I don't really have to worry about how the sound of a pencil tip against paper sounds, so its much easier for me to focus & less painful. I haven't used a tablet since High School though. I draw mostly on the finger pad mouse I have on my laptop, which works out nice enough but there's not much room to move around.
Photography is what has been dragging in money for me though. While I was in high school, I started freelancing to help me pay for art supplies & video games. When I got out of school, it just became a full time business & still is. I even got to work for a portrait studio for a while before I moved out of state & I really enjoyed the challenges that came with it. Photography is an art that relies a lot on how you use your camera & you have to be more creative with your compositions to get people to really look at your work & consider it professional. Now, its my own personal tastes that make me say that film photography is still the best photography. There's something amazing about processing your own work, & something beautiful about seeing what you made - no alternations what so ever. Just you & the camera, combine with a touch of pure genius hidden somewhere inside your skull. I get more pride out of taking & developing my photos with film than I do when I use my digital camera. However, digital is our new world & film has really been left in the dust of time these days. Its cheaper to use digital, faster & easier too. Its a shame to see film go down like it has been in recent years, but it was bound to happen eventually.
