"Oh, spelunking. Always something new with these things." Nyx smiled as she checked the contents of her supply pack. Everything seemed to be in order. The thought of the tides coming in didn't worry her terribly; Water wouldn't melt you to death, and she had a water type pokemon if she needed a strong swimmer to get her out quickly.
The Agent grabbed the appropriate supplies for descending down the cliff side out of her pack before slinging it over her back. "I'm certainly glad about the lack of lava." Nyx chuckled nervously at Faleen's comment; The agent put on her own harness, strung the rope, and hammered in the spike, ready to follow after Elite Seth down into the depths.

Will was mostly quiet as he rifled through the supplies in his pack and eventually pulled out the rope and harness he would need to descend. Standing near Faleen and Kofuku, he just listened quietly to the conversation.
Strapping a light to his forehead, Seth was the first to descend into the hole. The sound of water swirling around at the pitch black bottom, resonated off the sides, making it rather ominous. As if it were some giant beast waiting to swallow them whole.
As Rockets slowly descended in, Will watched and waited for his turn. He followed after Nadja, being one of the last to make it down.
With the light, Seth was able to find a spot in which to land. His boots hitting damp rock. Leaving his rope as it was, he ventured carefully into the water carved cave. The opening was large, certainly big enough for a Kyogre to fit at high tide. His light cut through the dark, revealing the large room within. The rocks were wet and slippery, thus he chose his steps carefully.

Great. Water. Mau rubbed the bridge of his nose with one hand, the other, grasping Aki's pokeball. Not that he ever went anywhere without the vaporeon on hand, but he especially needed him today, he was sure. It was only recently that Mau had started learning to swim- thanks to Nyx. He snagged one of the sacks as per Seth's instructions, and checked the list, making sure it was all in order. At least mountains were not a stranger to him, climbing wouldn't be too bad. Though if he'd only had a pokemon with rock climb.
He didn't so no use pining over one! He steeled himself as he secured the bag to his back and began the preparations to descend into the darkness. He peered in, just to be sure. The water was at low tied, and he was tall. So how bad could it be right now? Ankle deep? Knee deep? Harness secure, bag secure, pokemon secure, ropes double secure, Mau gave a final glance to the other rockets who had not descended, and followed Seth in.
We who are about to die... was the morbid thought in is mind as he neared the water in the cave.

"Ready enough," he said with a nod, noting the contents of his own pack and glancing in the direction of the dark hole into which they were to descend. He noticed the pale face of one of the grunts standing to a side - a blonde man he didn't recognize - and waved an arm nonchalantly in an effort to catch his attention. He'd seen people forced to face fears before, and that kid seemed to be one such individual. Whether it was the prospect of the darkness, the closed space, the height, or the water below, it was clear that he was off-put by some prospect of the task at hand. "Don't sweat it," he said, his voice level. "Head down last if you need to. We're all looking out for each other here." With that, he too moved to descend into the dark, damp cavern below, following those who moved ahead of him.

Isadora watched as, one by one, the other Rockets made their way down into the dark gloom of the cave. "I suhppose Ih'll hahve t' be, mm? We shouhld go, too." Strapping her own light to her head, the doctor slowly, very slowly, descended down into the cave. Having only been trained in the most basic of climbing skills, Isadora tried to maintain her balance as much as she could, inching her way down further and further. Her feet managed to slip a few times when she tried to gain a foothold on the damp wall, but somehow, she succeeded in making it down to solid ground.
Sighing as she removed herself from her ropes, Isadora turned her head as she looked about her surroundings. The room in which they landed in was immense, and Isadora found herself feeling rather shocked that one force of nature - or even one Pokemon - could create such a work of art. She took a few steps away from the wall and followed the Elites further into the cave.

Looking between Nyx and Faleen, Kofuku gave a very nervous laugh; what ever had happened in the last mission, she was so incredibly relieved that there wasn't lava. Twirling some hair with her finger, she bit her lower lip and glanced over at Will. Blinking a little, feeling stupid for having not said anything to him, she smiled and waved a little at him.
And then, soon enough, it was her turn to scale down the wet rocks. "Ohmygod ohmygod....." She whispered under her breath, her hands gripping to the rope tightly as she made the climb down the rocks. After what felt like an eternity, she finally was at the cave's mouth where Seth and a few other rockets had, slipping a little on the rocks and throwing her hands out to catch her balance.

Alexander had sat down by the edge of the cliff and set everything up for his descent, not bothering to even try and look down, when the other Rocket had talked to him. It did calm him slightly but he knew one look down and he would be the first to fail the mission. "Thanks." He answered the man with a small smile that disappeared as soon as the other male had started his descent into the abyss.
Once finished he put his pack on his back and focused on keeping his breathing leveled as he started to travel down the cliff side. He kept his stormy gray eyes on the rocks he was repelling from at all times, ever so careful to not look down least he freeze up of freak out. Since he had been doing this it came as a surprise when his feet touched the wet ground at the bottom. He unclipped his self from the harness and pulled his flash light out then followed after Agent Seth.

Harness fitted firmly, carabiner clips hooked to her slid the rope through that was how clasped in her gloved hands.
She looked over to Nyx when she voiced her opinion on the Lava, Faleen wouldn't doubt her on that, seeing as her close call, she shared her own awkward smile,
"Water should be kinder... more so than magma anyway." Water was not to be underestimated nor the creatures, rocks and strong currents within either, but Faleen quite liked bodies of water, she was hoping she could handle it much better than Lava.
While she waited her turn, she picked a pokeball from her thigh,and releasing her Banette who hovered close to her.
She didn't intend to use him at the moment, but it would be best to have a pokemon out, a pokemon who could stay out of the way.
"Blend until I need you" she instructed the ghost, who waved an arm up and suddenly vanished for visible sight, and she returned his empty pokeball to her thigh strap.
"See you at the bottom." she told Will, and Nyx as she moved to make her way into decent, falling quiet to concentrate on what she was doing.
descending was easy enough, the sound of water grew closer and closer until she to was standing on damp rock.
Watching her step, careful not to slip, she left the rope, and continued with the group, lead by Seth.

The splash of water signaled Will's arrival, and he reached out just in time to catch Kofuku's hand in attempt to keep her from falling. This wasn't really the best place to take a tumble. Especially as the tide came rushing in suddenly, washing over the feet and past the knees of several Rockets as they made their way in. The water then pulled back out again.
Seth sloshed through the water, pointing his light in different directions as he looked around. The cave seemed to be mostly empty at this point, thus he trudged onward. There was no time to waste.
"Spread out, but stay close. If you see anything, speak up. Our pokedexes might stop working at some point if we go deep enough." After all, there was only so much rock that signals could pass through.
As they ventured in, the cavern seemed to be a rather nondescript corridor of rock. The sound of water dripping and splashing against rocks being the only sound aside from the sound of the Rockets trudging along. However, Seth come to a sudden stop, the man cursing under his breath.
In front of him was a large room... the darkness extending too far for his lamp to penetrate. The place he was standing being a shelf that overlooked it with no obvious sign of an easy way down. Picking up a rock, the elite tossed it over the edge. And it wasn't until several moments later that he could hear the faint sound of it hitting bottom.
"We'll have to find another way down." He grumbled half to himself.

While Lucas and Isadora replied, Claire had already strapped on her head light and was starting to descend. Even if everyone else was nervous about the climbing, the water, the legendary, or something else, she was still, for whatever reason, excited. Not so excited that she'd blatantly disregard being careful, of course, but still.
It didn't take her long to reach the bottom and she waited for the others, and at the sudden influx of water she braced herself to prevent her from stumbling or falling. She was suddenly glad for the boots that went up to her knees. At Seth's words she started scanning the cave, vaguely wondering what exactly he meant when he said if they saw anything. She followed along as they continued, pausing at the edge to gaze down, but none of their lights seemed to go far enough. Should they climb down there as well?

Isadora nodded at the command of the leader of their little expedition, acknowledging their task. She picked a direction and stuck with it, turning her head wherever she looked to illuminate her path as much as she could. She could not help thinking, much like a psychologist would, that Seth most likely had some... issues. Hell, whenever he talked, he sounded like he was ready to kill someone. In her very un-doctor-like opinion, Isadora thought that he should really take a chill-pill.
Isa also acted as Claire did, pausing at the edge of the chasm, unsure as to whether or not they should explore it or not. She glanced over to Claire and frowned. "Whaht are we suhpposed t' do now, d' you thihnk?"

Instantly, Kofuku death gripped Will's hand, her knuckles turning white as she stabled herself. Looking up at her fellow friend, she gave him an embarrassed smile. "Thanks, I owe you one now." The cold water rushed over her lower legs as the tide swished in around her, and a shiver went up through her as she carefully started her way towards where Seth had headed.
That was, at least, until he barked out the order to spread out a bit. Running a hand through her hair, she turned back to find Will again. "Do you want to stick together? Buddy system and all... probably is a bit safer than going out on our own."

Faleen stepped over to Will and Kofuku when he caught her from nearly taking a nasty spill. The pink hared Grunt did tend to be a little clumsy at times, that would prove dangerous here.
"The rocks will be slippery down here, and the water unpredictable, take care with your steps, Kofuku"
Seth's words were strong in her head, and she knew that he would leave any stranglers behind.
A hand found the wall, the dark blond glanced around quietly, slowly moving her light over the walls, trying to get a feel for the layout of this aria.
"What exactly are we looking for?" right now she guessed anything interesting.
Sloshing through the water, she made her way along the wall.

Nyx strapped her own forehead light on before she descended; Seeing would be a good idea, especially on slippery rocks. She unhooked her harness from the rope when she was on solid, if slippery ground. She stayed close to Mau when they were both down in the cave; Even if it weren't for past developments, the two of them often made a good team.
"I wonder if it is actually here..." Nyx commented under her breath as they moved through the watery cave.

"Sure," Will replied to Kofuku, his mustering a faint smile but otherwise seeming to be very serious about the mission. As they followed the others inside, the grunt looked around. But when he heard Seth's voice up ahead, his mouth drew into a straight line before he answered Faleen's question.
"Apparently another way down. Let's look around."
(( And with that, that's my last post for the night. Feel free to post moving around and looking. I won't post again until 8pm tomorrow night. ))
