".... a**." He repeated with a scowl and then snorted and set his book bag on the counter. He fished inside of it and pulled out something small and crinkly. He tossed the granola bar at Ever, followed shortly by a single pack of fig newtons. "Lunch..." He stated bluntly and gathered up his things again. "Try not get crumbs in the pages, its rude."

Ever didn't catch them; they skittered past, one into his lap and one onto the floor, and he made a noise before stooping to grab it. Poor newtons were probably squished, now. Not that he woudn't eat them, of course...
He grinned up at Zac as he straightened. "Don't tell your momma you're giving out the lunch she packed you. Dinner? When?"

"My -mother- he said saying the world like she was some distasteful elected official rather than the person who brought him into this world. "Couldn't pack a lunch if it jumped up and bit her on the arm." He didn't offer a drink, Ever could get coffee or water. "Six." He replied curtly. "We can walk there... see you then." He shifted the books in his arms and headed for the door trying not to wonder what he was getting himself into. People kept saying he thought too much anyhow.
