Im fine with just having topics to discuses techniques and stuff. For contests we would probably have to submit a video.

Fuzzy Brown Shark Firsty I have to say this guild grew so quickly and so far you're doing a wonderful job keeping it active, so kudos to you.
Secondly off the top of my head I have suggestions for two subfoums portfolio/sketchbook and critique.
The first would be used sort of like how conceptart.org has their thread. Users could make a sketch or portfolio thread to post their art work (mind you, at appropriate sizes as not to stretch the page) and others can come and look at their work and comment or critique. It's an excellent way to get artistic feedback. In the case of music and acting it works the same way, just links to auditions/monologues/original works instead of image posts.
The second, critique, is pretty self explanatory. A user posts a work in progress or finished piece to get critique on how to improve it. This would be like the sketchbook thread, but instead of a whole user gallery in a thread it would be just one work that they wished heavily analyzed.
That's just what I can think of for now. c:
/edit After re-reading the thread I have a few more comments to add. It seems like people want separate sub-forums for different art, but the guild point is to keep them all together. In this case what you could do is make an option thread-labeling rule. I've seen this done in many guilds, namely B/C RP guilds, and it works quite well.
Basically all you do is make an announcement or sticky with the different labeling rules, like so:
Mock Thread Post If you so wish, please put one of the following into your title. This way we will know what type of art you are displaying/asking for critique on without the clutter of too many separate subfoums: [P] - for photography; [D] - for drawing, painting, ect.; [M] - for music; [PA] - for performing arts...
...and down the line, you get the point. For example, if you made a thread asking for critique of your photography, it would go like this:
Mock Thread Title [P] Please critique me! c:
Hope that helps and I made it understandable! :3 This is a great idea! Seriously, if you just make one sub-forum specifically for critiques & then have this labeling rule, I'm sure it would work out really well! It would still keep all the arts together but allow people to get the artistic advice that they need! Beautifully presented, Fuzzy Brown Shark!

I think this is a lovely organization plan.~ It would really make things less "messy", as people claim, and give them the different areas they have been craving for. I commend you, for coming up with this idea. =]

I was thinking since the other contests are done and over with by tomarrow i say we have another contest. This contest will be make a Banner contest for the guild. One so that the guild will get advertised for new members, two so that theres something thats new and interesting. And three so that people can show of their abilities once more. The banner has to have the link encoding so that people can just click it and it goes to the guild's home. At contest will have three winners because the contest will be for artists and photographers. Writers wouldn't really be able to.. The banner would have to be creative, instead of just choosing a random picture from photobucket. The three places would be 30k for the first place. 20k for second place and 10k for third place. And of course people would have to donate, i will too.
Small idea.. OuO just throwing it out there. Any comments? Both good or bad. =]

You could have two types of banners too maybe? Like a signature/guild search banner (the one that appears at the top) and a larger welcome/home banner (to put on the home screen for the guild).

One winner for the home banner and the other one for the siggy banner. The two best.. Orginally i had thought three places so that A there would be more winners.. and B so that we could choose one made by artist, one by photographer, and one by a writer..

You could do a first, second, and third, then do a "best overall" with one category in one banner and one in the other. Or if just one banner do first/second/third + "best overall" and the best overall would be the used one. That's a good idea! Then if the authors didn't mind you could even collab with performing arts to have sections of the stories and/or winning story played out. xP
/gets out of hand with ideas.

I think thats a good idea. The best story would earn some writer like gaia item and some gold? As a prize i mean.
