Dear Diary,
As much as I'm going to miss the castle, moving in was super exciting. After I had finally decided I was going I got all my stuff packed right away. I was still so torn about it that I had trouble sleeping and when momma came to find me in the morning it felt like I had barely gotten to sleep. When I told her I had decided to go she smiled and told that she could take me whenever I was ready. So I showed her my pile of packed things and she helped me get it all into her car.
After everything was ready for my trip I went to go say goodbye to the castle and find my kitty. I wandered through the castle for a while before finding Star curled up on my chaise in my crystal room. I danced through the rainbows created by the morning light one lat time before I gathered my kitty and went to tell mom I was ready. I cried as I said goodbye to Master Craig, London and Syl then climbed into the car and we began the trip to the city. I fell asleep along the way.
It was still pretty early in the afternoon when we got there so the boys were still at school. That didn't stop mom from moving all of Gabe's stuff into Elliotte's room. Bed and all. While mom and I cleaned up the boy grime dad went out to find me some furniture. I was confident he understood my tastes so I wasn't worried about what he would come back with. After the room was cleaned out mom and I sat in the living room drinking tea while we waited for dad to come back.
It wasn't long until my new room had a nice bed, dresser, and even a desk in it and I could start unpacking. After all of my stuff was put away the room still seemed kind of empty and I made a note to work on personalizing over the next few days. By that time the boys had come home and were surprised to see me. I was worried about Gabe being upset about his stuff bu he didn't seem to mind. He just went about getting it situated. El insisted on celebrating my move so we ordered pizza for dinner and had a little party.

Dear Diary,
Even though I was in a new place I slept really well last night. The pizza was delicious and it was nice to be back around Elliotte and Gabe. But now that the celebrating is over the work is just beginning. After I woke up the first thing I did was make a promise to my self to try my best today to decide where I want to go to school. After I showered and dressed I managed to charm dad into making me some breakfast. I ate what I could and then went back to my room and sat in front of my laptop. Opening an internet window I began to search for schools in the area.
I hadn't been at it very long when dad came in to tell me he didn't care where it was or how much it would cost I could go anywhere I thought would fit. He kissed my cheek and left me to my search. For a little while I thought about going to public school like the boys but quickly dismissed the idea for the more romantic one of a private school. I began to dream of how cute any of the uniforms could be but quickly reminded myself that I would concentrate on my task. Figuring it would help me decide I made myself a little table of each of the schools I was considering and the pros and cons of each. Including very important things like how cute the uniform was. Teehee.
By the end of the afternoon I had made a pretty good list of the schools I was looking at and I set myself to the task of eliminating the ones I thought were the least suitable.By the time I was done I had three on my list that I was having trouble choosing between. They all had things that I was interested in and they all had good enough academic records to impress my parents. Naturally they all had cute uniforms. I decided that at this time it might be good to get my parents opinions. Or maybe they would be willing to help talk my through my choices at least.
So within a little while I had my parents sitting on either side of me on my bed and began presenting the candidates. Dad kept silent for most of it but mom was a great help. In the end we chose the school that had the best preforming arts programs. I shooed them out and turned to the task of printing and filling out an application. Dad said he would take it and go talk to the headmaster of the school in the morning.

Entry 25
Dear Diary,
I have been waiting nervously all morning. Dad left early to see about enrolling me into my new school. I've been trying not to pace but I'm just so excited! Finally I gave up and decided to go for a walk around my new neighborhood. Before I left I snuck into El's room and borrowed his mp3 player. I'm sure he won't mind as long as I don't ruin it. So with my brother's loud, aggressive music playing in my ears I set out from the apartment.
I didn't have to walk for more than a few minutes before I came to a park. Just as I stepped onto the grass a more cheerful song than usual came through the headphones. With a small giggle I spread my arms and spun my way through the park, playing over the grass.I lost track of the time and before I knew it several hours had passed. Excited to see if dad had made it home yet I skipped toward home.
When I burst through the front door he was sitting on the couch waiting for me. With a smile he stood up and pulled me into a big hug. I kissed his cheek and asked how the meeting had gone. He informed me that I had a uniform fitting appointment later today. With a squeal of happiness I bounced out of his arms and back to my room to get ready. I'll make sure to put El's thing back before I leave.

Dear Diary,
Today is my first day at my new school. I was so excited last night I had trouble sleeping. Even so I feel refreshed and cheerful this morning. I bounced out of bed early so I had time to shower and do my hair. Then I slipped into my uniform that I had set out last night. With a quick twirl in the mirror I admired how the light and dark purple outfit looked on me. I winked at myself before bouncing out to the breakfast table where the boys were already eating. I grabbed a bagel and sat down next to El.
From the living room I overheard something dad was saying on the phone. Sounded something along the lines of "Dammit Paul! Just do it!" Before I heard the phone slammed down on the coffee table. A moment later dad walked into the room and gave me an appraising look.
"Looking beautiful as usual Ara." he said before giving me a peck on the cheek. "I got you a ride to school by the way. Now I'm going back to bed. Tell me if I need to kick his a** later."
I watched his back in confusion as he left the room. With a shrug I finished my food and stood to give El and Gabe hugs as they headed off for school.
I gathered my school supplies into my new book bag and settled into the living room to wait for my supposed 'ride'. I didn't have to wait long. There was a knock on te door before it opened and in walked a cute boy in the male version of my own uniform. He gave me a once over before jerking his head toward the door with a "C'mon." I stood, and with a final glance in the mirror on the wall, followed him out the door.

Dear Diary,
School has been great! Well, mostly. But I've been super busy with it and homework and stuff. I'm sorry I haven't really had a chance to write in you but I'm sure you understand. But i really did have to let you know a little bit about how I'm doing and what I've been up to.
So right off, on my first day I made some new friends. A few girls about my age. Apparently they know my mom somehow. Not that it matters. But what's totally amazing is that we have almost exactly the same schedules. They were super nice and able to tell me about what teachers to watch out for and stuff. one of them has a super cute older brother too. I guess he's almost as cute as Paul. Hee Hee.
Speaking of Paul, he's been really helpful with settling into the school as well. When he has time. It seems he has a problem with all the girls wanting to talk to him at once. A few of them seem to have taken a dislike to me because I ride to and from school with him. They act like it's personally my fault. But enough of that. He introduced me to some extracurricular clubs. I think I might join the Drama club. I think I'd like to ride too if we can arrange to have one of our horses brought in from Mister Craig's castle.
Anyway I'll give you another update when I get a chance. Love ~
