Ravefirell Silent Cartoon Oh my gods D: Those hands. They're so nice! ...And so is your lineart! How'd you get it that clean? Yes, hands are very very difficult to draw, but I've managed somehow. xD I sketched it then inked it using pen, then scanned it using the black and white option at 300 dpi on my scanner. The image was quite large at first, and there were many flaws, but they disappear once I shrank it. =)
Ooooh. Okay. See, I usually mean to do that, but I forget to work at those higher dpis.

Ravefirell Tisha the Jackle XD no no. This is quite fun. I already brought up a challenge here doing a pic of him colored without using black or coloring one without using black, so now I'm like participating. XD its really fun though and gets you thinking. Have you ever tryed it? Yes, using pasty colours gives the composition a light feeling. Many artists use these less contrasting colours in their art and I think it looks really good! =) I use more dramatic/high contrasts colours though... though I would like to work more with the light effect. How do you usually colour? Which type of colouring do you like best? Well, Ill I've really had ever for coloring is pencil, so I specialize in pencil. (is a paint failist) So normally I use verithin prisma. I have some ergosoft water color but its only a 24 pack so sometimes Im limited, while my prisma is a 36 pack. Um....um.........how I usually color? '_' I just.....color....

Silent Cartoon Ooooh. Okay. See, I usually mean to do that, but I forget to work at those higher dpis. Ya xD High dpi saved my life many times with my inking failures. Also it helps to draw big so it appears that your lines are thinner.

Tisha the Jackle All those art terms you used before asking how I color, I understood like none of it. XD Self discovery phase.....Let's go with that! blaugh sweatdrop Ah sorry about that xD when I said pasty it means like dull light colours that complement each other well because they all have a grayish tone to them. High contrast is like... hmm... when 2 colours are together they bring each other out. Or just something really dramatic with intense lighting I guess. I'm not very good at explaining sorry. ;_;

It could look good then.
