He was about to go on and on about how to treat a lady when Reinbach got so close to his face that their noses were touching. He was practically fuming with anger at this point, but managed to keep composure and stare blankly at the man. If he felt as though he shouldn't talk then maybe he shouldn't. He continued to stare at the man and wait til he was done. But, it was when he touched Rally's paw that he began to visibly fume. But, Crimson was all about the self control and for him the minor twitch of his upper lip was the equivalent to an uncivilized man to punch someone in the face.
The naming of the pet was simply too much, but hugging her? He watched Rally's face change to fear as she was hugged. Crimson could feel his anger rise once more as the man stood up and touched his nose once more. What was with this guy and personal space? It was ridiculous. His hair? "I assure you, mate. My hair is all my own and I greatly look down upon those who use animal pelt for wigs or clothing." He was so angry that he didn't even call him mate. That was rather large for him.
An invitation? It was just as simple as that? He was rather enraged at this point. Was this a normal to just invite those you offend over to your house? That was just so strange to him. Once the man had seemingly shut his mouth, Crimson simply gave him a nod and looked to both of the girls. "Celeste, it is truly good to see you, love. I wish you luck. Amanda, thank you for coming to say hello, I'm sorry but I must run. I hope we can do our photo shoot soon, mate?" He nodded to both of them respectively and with Rally's leash tightly in hand, he began walking away.
Gemma wasn't very far in the distance and he had enjoyed talking to her, so that was where he went. " 'Ello, lassie." He gave her a gentle smile, trying to pinpoint her gaze at this moment. It was about the time that he approached Gemma that he discovered it was time for the pet competition. He excused himself momentarily to perform tricks with Ralinalia and returned quickly to stand next to Gemma once more.

Yay, the contest had started! Jaeja had settled comfortably on River's shoulder, and let out an irritated yip as she was removed from such a nice position. River held the little fox up to her face and stared her straight in the eyes. "Behave," she murmured. After deciding that the fox had understood, she placed Jaeja down on the ground, letting go of the leash. Jaeja sensed this opportunity and, after sniffing the ground a few times, darted off. River let out a surprised cry as her pet began to run, but quickly regained her composure and stomped her foot angrily. "Dogjaeja!" she yelled at the fox. Jaeja froze and lowered herself to the ground. Ahh, her master was so scary when she was angry! River stomped over to the fox and jabbed an annoyed finger in her direction. "Roll over!" she commanded. The fox paused before timidly rolling over.
River smiled. Jaeja was so cute~

Oh, look, Elliot was up next. She tugged at the leash slightly, gently leading her little Jerboa over to the appropriate area. The rodent sniffed around the ground curiously, and Elliot let him do as he pleased until she dropped down into a crouch. "Bokonon," she murmured to her pet. Bokonon looked up at her curiously, his little nose trembling. "Up," she coached softly, pulling up the leash ever so slightly. The Jerboa took this as his cue and stood up on his hind toes, before walking around in a small circle.

Time to destroy these guys and their lame-a** pets! Cats? Foxes? Rocks? Leeches? Whatever the ******** that rodent thing was? They had nothing on Natalia's dogs! Just look at the other dogs. They looked so lame and girly! She was completely certain that she would wipe the floor with these guys. She looked down at Zipper, who was quietly sitting by himself. Oh, that wouldn't do! She tugged at his leash until he stood up. Much better! Zipper! Sit!" she commanded. The Great Dane stared up at her. They stared at each other for a short while. "I said sit!" The staring continued. She commanded once more, but nothing happened. And so it went on, with Natalia growing more and more frustrated with every word. Eventually, instead of sitting, Zipper flopped over onto his side. He was tired!

Zelynity patted Raiden's back, letting him know that she was going to take Lucy for the showing. She took the leash and led Lucy over to the little arena thing. Hoping that all would go well, Lucy was the cutest fox ever. So, it certainly should go well. Right?

Oh god. Was it time, already? Rory was just hoping that he could show up and get judged, then go home. He knew he wouldn't win. Of course he wouldn't win! Especially since... Wait, tricks? They had to perform a trick? He looked down at Piero, who was still straining against the leash. s**t, did she even know any tricks? He stared at the big dog before... simply giving up. He let go of the leash, letting the black Great Dane run away at full power. Ehh, she'd come back eventually.
And she did! But somehow, she had ended up with a scarf wrapped around her neck. Rory chose not to say anything, and patted her on the head awkwardly.

A shadow had passed over her periphery, the kind that happened when someone moved close by and for less than a second blocked the sun from reaching you. Yeah, like that. She imagined it was just someone else who wanted to see the panther in action, but then she heard Crimson's unique, around these parts, australian accent. Which made her turn her head slightly upwards to look at him, putting a hand to block the sun out of her vision. "Hello, Crimson." Gemma greeted, a cute smile playing across her face. Her eyes then slid down to his companion, his dog. What a beauty! She wanted to touch it and play with it, the dog just looked so... soft! However, fate had other plans than for her to immediately meet the graceful looking canine.
Gemma gave Crimson a small nod when he excused himself, and wished him luck as he went forward. Watching with a smile as Crimson and his dog did their thing. She would cheer when necessary, if a little more to show her full support. As much as she liked Crimson, however, she wouldn't mind if he got second or third place. He had won the Treasure Hunting festival, after all. But, really, this was his playing field. Animals and all that.
Once he came back to her side, she welcomed him back with another broad smile. "I suppose you're not going to introduce me to your little friend?" She asked raising one of her eyebrows, not offended or anything. He must be a little jittery about the whole competition thing, she wouldn't blame him. She had read in a book that dogs felt less threatened when you lowered to their level to greet them, as well as to allow them to get a feel for you. So Gemma did just that, kneeling down and holding out her right hand for Crimson's beloved companion to sniff out. Her brown hair had fallen forward a little, and she pushed it back behind her ear with her free hand. "It's a beautiful dog." She smiled gently up at the man, her gaze then falling back on Rally.

In his excitement, the lemur had held onto an outstretched branch and swung himself completely around it a good many times, his loud cries rebounding from him with every swing until he bored and came to a lazy stop to bask in the sunlight~ Ah, summer~

Newt had hopped onto a table with a motion from Mao and, after dabbing his paws into a bowl of blood, stretched his limbs over the paper, standing up to wander across it, rolled onto his back and rubbed his ears over the mess - all of these actions and more until.. He finally stood up to reveal a crude painting that seemed to resemble a certain symbol.. But, it was just a cat! It wasn't like he had openly intended to make something out of his blood play~

Noelle smiled widely when she learned that Wander won. Yes, so she didn't spend those hours brushing him for nothing! It all payed off in the end. Not that she would win anything, but Wander would go down in Nirvani records! Granted, in the livestock category, but who was paying attention to that. Noelle had made an impact on something, at least. That was enough to keep her going for the rest of the season.
She pulled down the hem of her dress as she heard someone approach her. "Hehe, thank you." She said sheepishly ( :'D ) to Rhapsody. This lady seemed nice. "Oh, i-is that a horse? That must've m-meant it was Wander's competition! I-I'm sure it... got second?" Noelle wasn't very good at comforting people. By not very good, she meant not at all. Was.. was Zhi.. no.. No, she couldn't – it.. it was an octopus! Zhi would love to pretend she was used to tentacles wrapping around her slickly and doing humiliating, disgusting things to her in public, but she wasn't some Japanese – oooooh, she.. she wanted to cry! But, at least the chick with a sheep got it done first and.. and it wasn't like anyone.. noticed.. She swallowed and scurried off to her leech as the pet contest started, just praying that River hadn't paid any attention to that octopus. Nope, it didn't happen! At all! She would just focus on her little leech doing his cool trick! She dipped her hand into the bowl to pull out the slick, black creature and pretending it didn't remind her of the octopus. She took the wooden plank that she had brought in with her and set the animal at the bottom, letting the leech scale straight up the perpendicular plank much like that of a living slinky, but a long, black, blood-sucking slinky!

Oh, was it time for the contest already?! Junior had been following Celeste around quietly during all the fuss, being happy to just be with someone to really notice that.. no one had acknowledged him. He fumbled with Zap until the contest was announced to be beginning and then hurried to where everyone else was at. Once he was there, he set Zap on a table and let him do his trick! He smiled as he listened to the rock sing a pretty, pretty song and then amuse the nonexistent crowd with his stand up routine! Surely, he was the best out of them all! Or.. or he was at least kinda good.. Junior didn't feel like having to listen to Zap yell at him for making him lose something..

Celeste had smiled and given a happy hello to Amanda in return. She had wanted to talk to Crimson a bit more, but sadly some idiot had come up and angered him. Celeste had given Crimson a half smile as he left and had said good bye to Rally to. She really was a beautiful dog, hopefully Crimson would bring her in to the Clinic some days. Rally might like it and Azi would definitely love a friend.
At the mention of the start of the judging for pets, Celeste turned to Amanda with a grin. "Good luck!" She said before heading over to the judging area.
Now, Azi was quite talented, but her rarely deigned to perform when told to. So even though Celeste had taught him a bunch of cool tricks... like jumping through hoops and rolling over and sitting pretty and playing dead... that one creeped her out to much to ever use it... she was almost certain he wouldn't be performing any of those today. Reaching the judging area she smiled and announced, "Azriel has chosen his own trick to perform, and if I guessed correctly what it is he should be returning in 3.. 2.. 1.." Azriel came hop-waddling over to stand next to her, a shiny something hanging out of his mouth. Reaching down Celeste gently extricated it from his mouth and held up the shiny thing he had stolen, so that somebody could claim it. "Anyone... uhm, misplace this? Azi is a ferret afterall... his best trick is erm... finding shiny things."

♬ Rhapsody Skysong ♫  Rhapsody smiled and nodded when she mentioned Donnas. "Your welcome and yes this is Donnas." She said as he bobbed his head in greeting to Noelle." he came in second, but oh well I will do better next year" She added with a large grin. Truthfully Rhapsody was a bit sad that she did not win, but it was better than nothing. Patting Wander on the head one last time Rhapsody went over to check out the dogs. Of course Donnas had to come too since he did not like being cooped up in the stall. No, he needed to stretch and run wild. Which was probably why Rhapsody was putting him in an empty pen that was large enough for him to do all that.
After putting Donnas in the pen did she return to looking at the dogs. Many of the breeds she knew and some were new to her. Rhapsody petted some of them and made light conversation with the owner. Then she would continue on until she came to a hill and spotted Crimson with his pretty dog Rally. After all how could she miss the red-haired Aussie. He was talking to a young woman and Rhapsody knew it would be rude to intervene.She was rooting for her boss since she was fairly new to the area and did not know a whole lot of people
Her eyes though were on Donnas, watching how wild and free he was in the pen. Donnas never did like stalls or closed spaces. He had grown up in Spain from what she knew about Andalusians, so alot of running space for him. " well at least he is having a good time" Rhapsody murmured waving when he went on his hind legs to greet his friend.
