Between perfectionist and average... Once I start practicing, I practice long and hard, but you have to get me to practice first.

I'm a mix of all of them actually. Average to perfectionist in band and outside of it I'm butterfly to perfectionist.

When it comes to my playing, i'm a perfectionist. I have to have everything right. Last year i did motzarts bassoon concerto for a solo and i got all mad because when i plaied it i messed up a run even though the judge didn't notice and i got a one. i was so mad that i practiced that run over and over and over until my lips got all buzzy from the reed.

I'm somewhere around perfectionist-average. I'll work like crazy at making something right, but sometimes when I have to, I'll calm down and just go with it.

I'm all three...if that's possible.. sweatdrop
First, i'm a complete perfectionist on everything and I was best in my school last year, but I NEVER practiced.
Second, I did like to talk in class (believe you me!) and was a fairly average person.
Third, I DO have a short attention span and tis the reason I couldn't practice more than 12 seconds...

guh- in my band saxes are such butterflys. but like the ugly annoying bee-like butterflies.....well last chair saxes anyway.
im kinda average/perfectionist. i'll spend a minute or two just gettin my reed inthe perfect place.

O.o Im none of those...Im more of a mix of the three...Well...Kinda...I barely practice at all until I find video game music...then I have 6 hours of practice in. I CAN play all my scales at above a tempo of 120...>.> But...I have lotsa little side conversations and Im easily distracted

In band, I'm closest to a pefectionist. However, in government class, I have been known to spend ten minutes highlighting random sentences in my book.

I don't think I fit in any of those...
I practice...not as much as a perfectionist though...more than 6 hours though...I'm more of a perfectionist in class when playing with the whole band...I'm definately not a butterfly chaser... I probably play too quietly for that...and I don't talk to anyone in band...I have no band friends D:=='' no offense to butterfly chasers but I can't stand it when people always talk in class and waste playing time...and those people who play too loud when they really suck (in senior consert band !!?!? D<)...

Everyone, especially my section, expects me to play perfectly all the time. So, naturally, when I screw up, everyone makes a deal out of it. rolleyes I guess it's kind of flattering, but... also really annoying. And I guess the band director doesn't like me as much as other good people in our band. I'm the opposite of a suck up. I hate suck ups. Beleive it or not, I'm humble. Lmao. After this post it doesn't sound like it, but I would neeeeever say I'm good in front of people in band. Eheheh.
