ThePersonInFrontOfYou I love how whenever you tell me about a chapter, I love this game so much that I remember the stuff you're gonna do at the same time you do it and prolly sound pretty annoying in the process but whatevs. Also remember that Bowwow barks when he comes near a Secret Seashell buried in the ground, for all y'all that have never played this game. And protip: Next time you run into those guys with the card suits on their chests, try to hit them all at the same time with a spin attack right off the bat. They always start out on the same pattern. It's not annoying. Your little comments about that are actually helpful, since sometimes I might learn something I didn't know or forgot to cover.
I actually didn't know about Bow Wow barking when a Secret Shell is buried. o:
And yeah, that pro-tip helps a lot. I'm pretty sure that first dungeon is the only time we actually see them though.

I wanna say they're in the Eagle's Tower, but I'm not completely sure. And if you took Bowwow into the prairie before you have to give him back, he'll go to all sorts of places where shells are buried around there. And he does it if you go into little miss bowwow's doghouse if you didn't dig up that shell. But whatevs. I will now say one of my favorite lines from this game completely out of context. "Far away.... Do not fear... Dash and fly!"

"Far away.... Do not fear... Dash and fly!" Huh, is that so? I'm relying mostly on memory, and the further down the game I go, the less likely I'm going to remember where everything is which means slower chapter updates. Especially after the 6th dungeon.
I'll be sure to keep that in mind for later playthroughs. o:
Heh. I know the perfect song for that moment.

Man the Eagle's Tower was the last place I remember in Link's Awakening. That is precisely where my data was lost.

I'm not exactly sure what the laws are on ROM distributing, like is it giving the direct link out to the ROM site, or is it just giving out the name of the website that's illegal? In any case, you might want to be careful on the website part, Roy, it may or may not lead to troubles. But if just giving the name out for the website isn't illegal, just ignore what I said. = w=

If you say where you got it, but don't supply any links, you should be okay. Maybe. I dunno the laws on it either. And besides, if you get a faulty rom and it messes up your computer, it's your fault anyway. And karma biting you in the a**.

Though if you want to support the creators, Link's Awakening DX will be downloadable on the 3DS. So if you're getting the system, why not? cool I still have the GBC version, and while my GBC might not work anymore, my GBA is still going strong. In fact, Link's Awakening is one of the only GBC games I brought with me to school. The other is Dragon Warrior III, of course.
I only use roms for games I can't get otherwise. Like Mother 3. So if you can get the game by paying for it, do it. If not, rom away and buy the game if you can. I know I'm gonna buy a copy or two of Mother 3 if the game ever gets a stateside release.
