It wasn't to long before Faleen decided that maybe it was time to head back.she used what she learned to head Langley back in the direction of the HQ. It wasn't until the building was in sight however... when she realized something "... how do I tell you to land?"

Nyx was, by no means, a perfect teacher. Sometimes when you were listing off things, something slips through. Unfortunately, Langley was but a bird and could not make up for his trainer's absentmindedness. Said trainer could be seen in the distance, standing in front of the HQ, waving at Faleen. She had no idea that she'd forgotten to tell Faleen how to land.

Spying Nyx already on the ground by where they had met. the Agent was waving toward them, Waving a hand as well as she instructed the Pidgeot to fly lower, so Faleen can cup a hand by her mouth and call as they circled. "How exactly do I land!?"

Oh. How could she have forgotten that? Nyx slapped a hand to her forehead and sighed. "Lean back and both heels!" She shouted up at the girl stranded on her Pidgeot.

She took a deep breath when she got an answer from Nyx. lining Langley up to level him with the ground, hands holding tightly to him, still uncertain as she lowered closer to the ground.
The landing was not pleasant, and by the time they were on the ground, Faleen was once again clinging to Langley's neck.

Nyx didn't blame her; Landing tended to be a bit rougher than take off. Langley, however, spread his wings and made unpleased clacking sounds. Not this again, she needed to stay off of his neck.
"So... Besides landing... how'd it go?"

"Uh, well actually" she replied, carefully moving to slip off of Langley once he was on the ground, standing awkwardly for a moment while she regained her ground legs. it felt a little strange to walk again. "It got easier... and I can start to see the appeal of it"

Nyx pat Faleen on the back, grinning. "Good!" She was glad that the mechanic had at least some concept of how flying could end up being enjoyable. "Next time will be even easier."
Langley stretched his wings one final time before folding them and being recalled to his pokeball. The shiny Pidgeot glowed briefly as the form wavered and shrank and a mew was left floating in the air.
"We're done for the day, though..." Darwin floated down and landed softly on Faleen's shoulder, sniffing curiously at her hair and ear. Nyx chuckled. "Would you like to get some tea?" It was early afternoon, obviously time for tea or coffe, or at least lunch.

She smiled softly, shaking her hands out as she stepped away from the... very patient flying pokemon when he was recalled. "I'm sure it will, should be interesting" She knew she just learned the basics, she saw the kind of moves that Nyx and the others pulled off int he air during raids.
Her eyes moving over to the bright light of the mew as it transformed, the dark blond grunt blinking when the small blue creature decided to float over by her. Curiously holding a hand up to it in a greeting, before she laughed and leaned away a little when she felt sniffing close to her ear "Hey now."
shoulders rounded in reaction to the tickets, she managed to glance back over at Nyx. "I wouldn't mind that at all, Ma'am." It had been a long flight, food and caffeine was sounding great.
