Foley backed away and allowed a small it of pain to come over Belle to make it seem as though he was letting her out of his grasp. "I was trying to wake her up. Her clothes were on, they're just so skimpy that your sister must not have seen them. I needed to be able to numb her quickly enough if she were to wake up again in as much pain as she passed out in. That requires enough physical contact though," he said calmly.

William put a protective arm around Isabella before looking up at Foley. "I do not think shaking someone is the best way to wake them without causing them pain, especially when they had just fallen." He glanced at Cece, he hadn't known her well but he had never heard her lie before and shaking and raping were two entirely different looking things. "I also find it hard to believe that she mistook something so different." He looked up at Foley, annoyed that he was unable to prove either side. "I will tell you this, though. If I find that you did what she said you did, I will make it my life goal to make you pay." His expression was entirely serious.

Was standing here all along.  Ian GuaritoreIan didn't trust Foley one bit. He didn't doubt what his sister saw and the feeling in his gut telling him that Foley really did it......however Ian had no proof and what Foley said made sense. He looked at Belle and Will and then back to Foley. Cece still there looked at Foley and gave him a small glare knowing she didn't see wrong but the fear of his scary face made her shiver and bury her face into Ians back. "If I had woken up to find you on top of me I would haved smacked you, no matter what pain I may have been in. I would have prefered to remain in pain and had you at a distance." Isabella said angerly. Even if Foley was only trying to help her like he seems to claim, everything just made her feel very uneasy.....Having Will put his arm around her and protect her, helped make her feel better though. And I will take

William narrowed his eyes ever so slightly. "Your assumptions are incorrect. I can prove neither point, but I find it difficult to think that Miss Cece saw something that clearly would be different than what you claim. I do not fear your appearance and think it is wrong of you to. . . how should I say. . . 'play that card' on us. Just as you have no control over your scars, I have no control of my tears. Why would I judge by that? Unless you have a guilty concious my words should make sense."

Cecilia was a large example of why Ian can't. People instantly fear or hate her the second they find about her power. Cece was not a bad or evil girl despite her deadly power. "It is true that she shouldn't have been kept unconscious in case of a concussion but shaking her would not have helped her any better than leaving her be." Ian said understanding the truth of the possibility but disagreeing with his supposed method of trying to prevent it. "Hey don't go picking on Will." Isabella snapped quickly at Foley. He was just adding to the anger he already made her have at him. "I haven't seen his tears for myself but it seems to me that it would look more painful than sinister." she said looking at Will with a softer expression, as she imagined it. Her gaze went back to Foley and became agressive. "Your the only one in here that I can see as sinister and I'm sure I would still see it that way even without that scar." And I will take

"The fact of the matter is that no matter what you two can manage, she has a much more difficult time getting her view past my face. It's hard to believe a girl so scared of the world she hides behind her brother almost constantly, would be able to process everything she saw correctly enough to make such an accusation beyond a doubt. She's afraid of me, already making me villainous in her own mind at least partly. The eyes miss things constantly that are actually there and it goes back to the fight of flight instincts from further back in out evolution when not running from whatever you may or may not have seen from the corner of your eye kills you. If she's scared enough to be hiding now, isn't it possible her brain processed wrong what her eyes mistook?" Foley argued. He did not say anything in a mean tone, but simply brought up his points factually. "And there is a difference between shaking someone and whipping them around hard enough that they get a new concussion."

William took a moment to think before replying to Foley. "Well, if you are as innocent as you claim you won't mind speaking to Miss Satine about it, no? If you have nothing to hide about the moments in here when I was gone, then having her see them should hold no problem." William thought for sure that he had Foley this time, even if he could talk his way out of it with them, there was no way he could get past Satine, not with her ability to see into the past.

 Cecilia GuaritoreCecilia began crying as Foley said all that about her. She can't help her fears and no one can exactly blame her for having them. Besides with her fear of people shes knows to watch them carefully to make sure weather she can eventually learn to not be afraid of them or not. She knew what she saw and it wasn't just because of his scar...though to say that his scar didn't scare her would be a lie. "I-I....know what its like to be hated for something I can't help......so even if I'm afraid I try to look past those things.....if I had seen you not doing bad things, then I probably would have come to not be as afraid of you." she said looking at Foley and then to Ian, who patted her head. Ian can get that Foley could be right if it weren't for the fact that he knew his sister almost better than she even knew herself. He gets how cautious she is of people....which was something he was trying to help her fix. He was about to say something to Foley when Will mentioned Satine and he froze.....this whole thing had made him forget what happened earlier for a while. "I'm sorry Will but we can't do that.....it would be a perfect idea however...." Ian said looking at Will and Isabella. "Satine has passed away this morning. She was murdered by an unknown assailant.....If you really want to try out that idea we might be able to ask Gwen.....but I don't know much about her ability to see the past....." Belle let out a gasp as Ian told about Satine being murdered. Its just horrible since Satine seemed like a nice enough women, especially to Belle when she would spend time just hanging around the kitchen. She really didn't know where to begin with the questions she wanted to ask about what happened....... {{Sorry this got so long. My over-exhausted brain couldn't stop going once it got started. I can fix it if its no good. ^-^" }} Sometimes I run,

"Wait, murdered? I thought we were supposed to be safe from such thing here. Isn't that Gabriel bloke supposed to be security or was he off banging that girl that makes him look like a *****?" Foley asked. He knew that those two were in fact quite old, but he still looked older than her by a few years. At least all of his selections were decent age-wise, though if he were really looking to piss off some people, he would not mind breaking that streak. Perhaps Cece herself as payback for finding out? He could leave the circus shortly after. What were they going to do? send out a search party for him and stalk him as he changed countries a few times? He doubted it. "Gwen is Satine's daughter right? I think she has more pressing things than something that never happened. Look, do you feel like anything happened?" he asked Belle. Between her elasticity and Ian's healing chances were good that she did not and he hoped desperately that they overlooked both things. He had even cleaned her up afterwords so there was nothing she would find of ever being his.

Anayah, who had decided since Sonya was off trying to find their mother to make up that she'd head into the Big Top for some practice time. She had her ribbons in her arms, prepared to set them up, when she realized she wasn't the first into the tent. With a brow raised, she approached the group, the bit of her that was more like her father very apparent. "Is something the matter here?" She asked, noting their expressions.

Gabriel is already working to find the killer as we speak." Ian said irrated. He really likes Gabriel and Lilura and doesn't like to hear anyone saying anything bad about either of them. Anayah frowned, setting her things down before addressing them. "That's a very serious accussation. One that could ruin Foley's life here at the circus or anywhere else, even if it's not true. Do you have evidence suggesting such?" She felt bad for being so rude to him earlier, so she felt the need to be fair.

"So it's guilty until proven innocent instead of innocent until proven guilty?" Anayah frowned towards Ian and Cece. "I don't believe Cece would ever lie, but could it not be possible that she misunderstood what she saw? I mean. . . where was she stand at? How far back was she? From what angel?"
